Thank you for purchasing a LANAFORM® «4 IN 1 THERMOMETER». This ear and forehead thermometer from LANAFORM gives you an accurate temperature reading

thanks to the infrared technology with which it is equipped.

• Do not expose the «4 IN 1 Thermometer» to sunlight.

• Do not submerge the device in water.

• Do not drop the device and do not use it if it is damaged.

• This thermometer must be used when the ambient temperature is between 16 and 40°C.

• Do not expose the thermometer to electric shocks.

• Do not expose this thermometer to extreme temperature conditions, that is temperatures higher than 50°C or lower than -20°C.

• Do not use this device if the relative humidity is greater than 95%.

• Do not use this device close to strong magnetic fields, like for example those produced by cordless

telephones or mobile phones.

• Accuracy of the temperature measurement can be affected if the forehead is covered by hair,

sweat, a hat or a scarf.

• We recommend keeping the thermometer in the room for 10 minutes before using it.

• The use of this thermometer does not replace a consultation with your doctor.

• In case of problems with your thermometer, please contact the outlet you purchased it from.

• Do not try to repair the thermometer yourself.

• This device was not designed for use by people, including children, with reduced physical, sensory

or mental capabilities, or people lacking experience or knowledge, unless they have had the benefit of prior supervision, advice and instruction in using the device from a person responsible

for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• Only use the «4 in 1 Thermometer» for the use for which it is intended as described in this manual.

• The «4 in 1 Thermometer» is pre-configured before leaving the factory. There is no need to

calibrate it therefore before first using it.

• Replace the cover over the sensor carefully after use.

• Replace the thermometer on its base and out of the reach of children.

• The ear and forehead infrared thermometer can be used for taking the temperature of the ear canal as well as that of the forehead. Do not use it for taking the temperature via the rectum,

orally or the temperature under the arm.

REPLACING THE BATTERY

1. Using a tool, press the tab on the battery cover (figure 2).

2. Get ready a new lithium batter y (3V) of the CR2032 type.

3. Using the tool, remove the battery and replace it with the new one. (figure 3).

4. Replace the battery cover.

In order to avoid all accidents or improper use, make sure you keep batteries out of the reach

of children. Please recycle used batteries in the appropriate containers. In order to avoid any environmental

pollution, do not simply throw the batteries away.

SETTING THE CLOCK

1. Using a tool, press the tab on the battery cover and remove the cover (figure 2).

2. Push button B (figure 4), in order to start setting the clock.

3. The hours flash. Set the hours using button A (figure 4).

4. In order to set the minutes, press button B once again and the minutes flash. Set the minutes

using button A.

5. Once you have finished setting the time, press button B and replace the cover.

OPERATION OF THE THERMOMETER

The LANAFORM ear and forehead thermometer is a delicate, high-technology electronic instrument designed for taking the temperature of the body.

By way of an indication, here are two tables giving the average temperature of a human being according to the place where the measurement is taken and according to age.

Comment:

1. The temperature of a body in good health varies according to a number of factors: age, time

of the day, physical activity, outdoor temperature,… and more particularly in the case of a forehead reading (influence of the type of skin (greasy or dry, creased or not), ambient temperature (air conditioning)…). It is therefore important to determine the normal temperature range for each member of your family, to use it as a guide to help you detect any subsequent fever.

2. In the case of children, ear temperature is close to the temperature in the rectum.

3. When you visit your doctor you need to tell him/her whether the temperature has been taken via the ear or the forehead.

4. Also note, in comparison with a forehead reading, there is a margin of difference of

approximately 0.5°C when the temperature is taken via the ear.

Important:

Taking the temperature via the ear is not recommended for infants under 3 months, the shape of the ear canal not permitting a reliable reading.

HOW TO USE THE THERMOMETER

SELECTING THE TEMPERATURE READING MODE:

- Press the «On» button (A) in order to select one of the 2 temperature selection modes. An initial

screen appears with all the symbols.

- After a few seconds, a second screen appears with the symbol indicating ear or forehead

temperature measurement flashing. Press the «On» button (A) once more to select the desired mode.

TAKING THE EAR TEMPERATURE:

1. Remove the sensor cover (figure 1).

2. Press the «On» button (A) and select ear temperature mode as explained above.

3. Wait until you hear two audible signals indicating that the temperature can be taken. The last measurement taken then appears on the screen. If it is the first time the thermometer has been

used after installing a battery, it will indicate a default value of 36.8°C.

4. Insert the tip of the thermometer into the ear canal and keep the «On» button (A) pressed. An

arrow appears at the top of the LCD screen indicating that the temperature is being taken.

5. Wait for the audible signal indicating that detection has finished. The temperature read is then displayed on the screen.

6. The detection range of the «4 in 1 Thermometer» goes from 32°C to 43°C. The ear thermometer will give a correct measurement if the temperature detected is greater than 32°C.

7. In order to obtain a more accurate temperature reading, wait for five seconds between readings.

TAKING THE FOREHEAD TEMPERATURE:

1. When taking the forehead temperature you must not remove the cover from the sensor.

2. Press the «On» button an initial time in order to ac tivate the thermometer and select forehead

temperature mode as explained above.

3. Wait until you hear 2 audible «beeps» indicating that the temperature can be taken. The last

measurement taken then appears on the screen.

4. Apply the tip of the thermometer to the forehead and keep the «On» button (A) pressed. An arrow appears on the screen. Then slide the thermometer across the whole length of the forehead and release the «On» button. A new audible signal sounds indicating that detection has finished. The temperature read is then displayed on the screen.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

- When you need to take a new reading and in order to ensure accuracy and hygiene, always clean

the tip of the sensor with a cotton bud moistened with alcohol (figure 5).

- Use a soft dry cloth to clean the body of the thermometer. Never use an abrasive material and never submerge the thermometer in water or other liquids.

- Never expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures, damp, direct sunlight or impact.

- Do not touch the lens with your fingers.

- Do not dismantle the thermometer.

SOLVING PROBLEMS

1. The screen constantly displays the too low temperature indicator:

• Make sure the end of the sensor is clean.

• You have not inserted the sensor into the ear correctly. The sensor lens must be adjusted against

the opening of the ear canal.

2. The screen constantly displays the too high temperature indicator:

• Make sure that the sensor lens is not damaged. If it has been, contact the outlet from which you

purchased the thermometer.

3. The temperature shown is outside the thermometer’s detection limit:

• Take the temperature again.

4. Low battery:

• Replace the battery.

ADVICE REGARDING THE DISPOSAL OF WASTE

• All the packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard for the environment and which

can be disposed of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper recycling bin. The packaging film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.

• When you have finished using the device, please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way

and in accordance with the law. Prior to disposal, please remove the battery and dispose of it at a collection point so that it can be recycled.

Please note: under no circumstances should spent batteries be disposed of with household

waste!!!

LANAFORM® guarantees this product against any material or manufac turing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below.

The LANAFORM® guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM® product does not cover damage

caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories,

changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside LANAFORM®’s control.

LANAFORM® may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage. All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years

from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied. On receipt, LANAFORM® will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to

you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM®’s Service Centre®. Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than LANAFORM®’s Service Centre will render this guarantee void.

• Le thermomètre auriculaire et frontal à infrarouge est utilisé pour prendre la température du canal auditif ainsi que celle du front. Ne l’utilisez pas pour mesurer la température rectale, orale

ou axillaire.

REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE

1. A l’aide d’un outil, pressez sur la languette du couvercle protégeant la pile (figure 2).

2. Préparez une nouvelle pile lithium (3V) de type CR2032.

3. A l’aide de l’outil, retirez la pile de son emplacement et remplacez-la par la nouvelle.

4. Replacez le couvercle de protection.

Pour éviter tout accident ou toute mauvaise utilisation, veuillez garder les batteries hors de

portée des enfants. Veuillez déposer les batteries usagées dans des bacs de collec te. Afin d’éviter toute pollution

environnementale, ne jetez pas les batteries.

REGLAGE DE L’HORLOGE

1. A l’aide d’un outil, pressez sur la languette du couvercle protégeant la pile et retirez le couvercle

(figure 2).

2. Poussez sur le bouton B (figure 4), afin d’actionner le réglage de l’horloge.

3. L’affichage des heures clignote. Réglez celles-ci grâce au bouton A (figure 4).

4. Pour accéder au réglage des minutes pressez à nouveau le bouton B, l’affichage des minutes

clignote. Réglez celles-ci avec le bouton A.

5. Une fois le réglage terminé, poussez sur le bouton B et replacez le couvercle de protection.

FONCTIONNEMENT DU THERMOMETRE

Le thermomètre auriculaire et frontal LANAFORM est un appareil élec tronique délicat et de haute technologie servant à prendre la température corporelle.

A titre indicatif, voici deux tableaux reprenant les températures moyennes de l’être humain selon l’endroit où est effectuée la mesure et selon l’âge.

Remarques :

1. La température d’un corps en bonne santé varie en fonction de nombreux facteurs : âge, heure de la journée, activité physique, température extérieure,… et plus partic ulièrement dans le cas d’une prise frontale (influence du type de peau (grasse ou sèche, ridée ou non), de la température ambiante (climatisation)…). Il est donc important de déterminer pour chaque membre de votre famille quelle est sa fourchette de températures habituelles et normales, pour disposer de repères et détecter par la suite une fièvre.

2. Chez l’enfant, la température auriculaire est proche de la température rectale.

3. Lors de toute consultation, il est important d’indiquer à votre médecin qu’il s’agit d’une prise de température auriculaire ou frontale.

4. Notez aussi, en comparaison avec la prise de température frontale, il existe une marge qui diffère d’environ 0.5°C pour la prise de mesure auriculaire.

Important :

La prise de température auriculaire est déconseillée chez les nourrissons de moins de 3 mois, la

morphologie du canal auditif ne permettant pas une mesure fiable.

COMMENT UTILISER LE THERMOMETRE

SÉLECTION DU MODE DE PRISE DE TEMPÉRATURE :

- Appuyez sur le bouton d’allumage (A) pour pouvoir sélectionner l’un des 2 modes de sélection de

température. Un premier écran apparaît avec tous les symboles.

- Après quelques secondes, un deuxième écran apparaît avec le symbole de la prise de mesure de

température auriculaire ou frontale qui clignote. Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton d’allumage (A) pour sélectionner le mode souhaité.

POUR UNE PRISE DE TEMPÉRATURE AURICULAIRE :

1. Enlevez le couvercle de la sonde (figure 1).

2. Poussez sur le bouton d’allumage (A) et sélectionnez le mode de la prise de température

auriculaire comme expliqué ci-dessus.

3. Attendez que deux signaux sonores retentissent vous indiquant que la prise de la température peut s’effectuer. La dernière mesure effectuée apparaît alors à l’écran. S’il s’agit de la première mise en service l’après installation de la pile, le thermomètre indiquera une valeur par défaut de 36,8°C.

4. Insérez l’embout du thermomètre dans le canal auriculaire et maintenez le bouton d’allumage (A) enfoncé. Une flèche apparaît sur le dessus de l’écran LCD vous indiquant que la mesure s’effectue.

5. Attendez le signal sonore indiquant que la détection est terminée. La température relevée est alors affichée à l’écran.

6. La gamme de détection du « Thermometer 4 in 1 » va de 32°C à 43°C. Le thermomètre auriculaire donnera une mesure correcte si la température détectée est supérieure à 32°C.

7. Afin d’avoir une détection plus précise de la température, attendez cinq secondes entre deux

prises.

POUR UNE PRISE DE TEMPÉRATURE FRONTALE :

1. Lors d’une prise de température frontale vous ne devez pas enlever le couvercle de la sonde.

2. Poussez une première fois le bouton d’allumage afin d’activer le thermomètre et sélectionnez le mode de la prise de température frontale comme expliqué ci- dessus.

3. Attendez que 2 « bips » retentissent vous indiquant que la prise de la température peut s’effectuer. La dernière mesure effectuée apparaît alors à l’écran.

4. Appliquez l’embout sur le front et maintenez le bouton d’allumage (A) enfoncé. Une flèche apparaît sur l’écran. Faites alors glisser le thermomètre sur toute la longueur du front et relâchez le bouton d’allumage. Un nouveau signal sonore retentit et vous indique que la détection est terminée. La température relevée est alors affichée à l’écran.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

- Lorsque vous procédez à une nouvelle mesure et afin d’assurer la précision et l’hygiène, nettoyez toujours l’embout de la sonde avec un coton tige imbibé d’alcool. (figure 5)

- Utilisez un tissu sec et doux pour nettoyer le corps du thermomètre. N’utilisez jamais de ser viette abrasive et ne plongez jamais le thermomètre dans l’eau ou d’autres liquides.

- N’exposez jamais le thermomètre à des températures extrêmes, à l’humidité, aux rayonnements

solaires directs ou aux chocs.

- Ne touchez pas la lentille avec les doigts.

- Ne démontez pas le thermomètre.

RESOLUTION DES PROBLEMES

1. L’écran affiche en permanence l’indicateur de température trop basse :

• Assurez-vous que l’embout de la sonde est propre.

• Vous n’avez peut-être pas inséré la sonde correctement dans l’oreille. La lentille de la sonde doit

être ajustée contre l’ouverture du conduit auditif.

2. L’écran affiche en permanence l’indicateur de température trop élevé :

• Assurez-vous que la lentille de la sonde n’est pas endommagée. Si c’est le cas, contactez le

revendeur.

3. La température indiquée se trouve en dehors de la limite de détection du thermomètre :

• Recommencez l’opération.

4. Pile faible :

• Mettez une nouvelle pile.

CONSEILS RELATIFS À L’ÉLIMINATION DES DÉCHETS

• L’emballage est entièrement composé de matériaux sans danger pour l’environnement qui peuvent être déposés auprès du centre de tri de votre commune pour être utilisés comme matières secondaires. Le carton peut être placé dans un bac de collecte papier. Les films d’emballage

doivent être remis au centre de tri et de recyclage de votre commune.

• Controleer of uw netspanning overeenkomt met die van het toestel.

•

Houd de «Thermometer 4 IN 1» altijd uit de buur t van warmtebronnen zoals kachels en radiatoren.

• Gebruik dit toestel nooit in een ruimte waar met een spuitbus (spray) is gespoten of in een ruimte die van extra zuurstof is voorzien.

• Stel de «Thermometer 4 IN 1» niet bloot aan zonnestralen.

• Dompel het toestel niet onder water.

• Laat het toestel niet vallen en gebruik het niet als het beschadigd is.

• Dit toestel mag uitsluitend gebruikt worden als de omgevingstemperatuur tussen 16 en 40°C is.

• Stel de thermometer niet bloot aan elektrische schokken.

• Stel de thermometer niet bloot aan extreme temperaturen, dat wil zeggen hoger dan 50°C of lager dan -20°C.

• Gebruik het toestel niet als de relatieve luchtvochtigheidsgraad hoger is dan 95%.

• Gebruik het toestel niet vlakbij grote magnetische velden zoals draadloze of mobiele telefoons.

• De exactheid van de meting kan worden verstoord als het voorhoofd bedekt is met haar, zweet,

een muts of doek.

• U dient de thermometer 10 minuten in de omgevingstemperatuur te houden alvorens deze te

gebruiken.

• Het gebruik van deze thermometer kan geen consult met uw ar ts vervangen.

• Bij problemen met het toestel gelieve uw verkoper te contacteren.

• Repareer het toestel niet zelf.

• Dit toestel mag niet gebruikt worden door personen, onder wie ook kinderen, met verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of mentale capaciteiten, of door personen zonder er varing of kennis, tenzij zij onder toezicht staan van, of vooraf aanwijzingen hebben gekregen betreffende het gebruik van het toestel door een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid. Let erop dat

kinderen niet met het toestel spelen.

• Gebruik de «Thermometer 4 in 1» uitsluitend waarvoor het bedoeld is en volgens de aanwijzingen in deze handleiding.

• De «Thermometer 4 in 1» is bij de fabricage voorgeprogrammeerd. Het is dus niet nodig om het toestel in te stellen bij het eerste gebruik.

• Plaats na gebruik het dopje zorgvuldig op de sensor terug.

• Zet de thermometer in de houder terug en houd het buiten het bereik van kinderen.

• De infrarood oor- en voorhoofdthermometer wordt gebruikt om de temperatuur in het gehoorkanaal en op het voorhoofd te meten. G ebruik het niet om de temperatuur rectaal, oraal of

onder de oksels te meten.

VERVANGING VAN DE BATTERIJ

1. Druk met een stuk gereedschap op het lipje van het beschermklepje van de batterij (afbeelding

2).

2. Zorg voor een nieuwe lithium batterij (3V), type CR2032.

3. Haal met het stuk gereedschap de batterij uit het vakje en vervang deze door een nieuwe.

4. Plaats het beschermklepje terug.

Om ongelukken of oneigenlijk gebruik te voorkomen, dient u de batterijen buiten het bereik

van kinderen te houden.

Gelieve de gebruikte batterijen in de verzamelcontainers te deponeren. Gooi geen batterijen weg

om milieuverontreiniging te voorkomen.

KLOK INSTELLEN

1. Druk met een stuk gereedschap op het lipje van het beschermklepje van de batterij en haal het

klepje eraf (afbeelding 2).

2. Druk op knop B (afbeelding 4) om de klokinstelling te activeren.

3. Het uurdisplay knippert. Stel deze in met knop A (afbeelding 4).

4. Om de minuten in te stellen, drukt u opnieuw op knop B. Het minuten-display knippert. Stel deze

in met knop A.

5. Wanneer het instellen voltooid is, drukt u op knop B en plaatst u het beschermklepje terug.

WERKING VAN DE THERMOMETER

De oor- en voorhoofdthermometer van LANAFORM is een hoog technologisch en gevoelig

elektronisch toestel om de lichaamstemperatuur te meten.

Ter indicatie zijn hier twee tabellen met de gemiddelde lichaamstemperaturen van de mens naargelang de plek waar de meting wordt verricht en de leeftijd.

Opmerkingen:

1. De temperatuur van een gezond lichaam wordt door talrijke factoren beïnvloed zoals: leeftijd, uur van de dag, lichamelijke activiteit, buitentemperatuur, en in het bijzonder bij een meting

via het voorhoofd (invloed van het type huid (vet of droog, gerimpeld of niet) de invloed van de omgevingstemperatuur (o.a. airconditioning).

Het is dus belangrijk om voor elk lid van uw gezin de gebruikelijke en normale

temperatuurschommelingen te bepalen om referentiepunten te hebben en vervolgens koorts te kunnen vaststellen.

2. Bij kinderen ligt de oortemperatuur dichtbij de rectale temperatuur.

3. Bij een consult is het belangrijk om aan uw arts te melden of het gaat om een

temperatuurmeting via het oor of het voorhoofd.

4. NB: in vergelijking met een temperatuurmeting via het voorhoofd bestaat er een verschil van ongeveer 0.5°C met een temperatuurmeting via het oor.

Belangrijk:

De temperatuurmeting via het oor wordt afgeraden bij zuigelingen onder 3 maanden. Door de morfologie van hun oorkanaal is een betrouwbare meting niet mogelijk.

SELECTEREN VAN DE METINGSWIJZE:

- Druk op de aanzetknop (A) om 1 van de 2 metingswijzen te selec teren. Er verschijnt een eerste

display met alle symbolen.

- Na enkele seconden verschijnt een tweede display met een knipperend symbool voor de

metingswijze via het oor of het voorhoofd. Druk opnieuw op de aanzetknop (A) om de gewenste wijze te selecteren.

VOOR EEN TEMPERATUURMETING VIA HET OOR:

1. Haal het dopje van de sensor af (afbeelding 1).

2. Druk op de aanzetknop (A) en selec teer de metingswijze via het oor zoals hierboven uitgelegd.

3. Wacht totdat twee geluidsignalen aangeven dat de temperatuurmeting verricht kan worden. De laatst verrichte meting verschijnt dan op het scherm. Wanneer er sprake is van een eerste meting

na het plaatsen van de batterij, geeft de thermometer een standaardwaarde van 36,8°C aan.

4. Plaats het uiteinde van de thermometer in het oorkanaal en houd de aanzetknop (A) ingedrukt. Er verschijnt een pijl bovenaan op het LCD-scherm om aan te geven dat de meting wordt verricht.

5. Wacht totdat het geluidsignaal aangeeft dat de meting is voltooid. De gemeten temperatuur verschijnt dan op het scherm.

6. Het detectiebereik van de «Thermometer 4 in 1» loopt van 32°C tot 43°C. D e oorthermometer geeft een correcte meting als de gemeten temperatuur hoger is dan 32°C.

7. Voor een preciezere temperatuurmeting wacht u vijf seconden tussen twee metingen.

VOOR EEN TEMPERATUURMETING VIA HET VOORHOOFD:

1. Bij een temperatuurmeting via het voorhoofd laat u het dopje op de sensor.

2. Druk een eerste keer op de aanzetknop om de thermometer te ac tiveren en selecteer de metingswijze via het voorhoofd zoals hierboven uitgelegd.

3. Wacht totdat 2 «biepjes» aangeven dat de temperatuurmeting verricht kan worden. De laatst verrichte meting verschijnt dan op het scherm.

4. Plaats het uiteinde op het voorhoofd en houd de aanzetknop (A) ingedrukt. Er verschijnt dan een pijl op het scherm. Laat ver volgens de thermometer over de hele lengte van het voorhoofd gaan en laat de aanzetknop los. Een nieuw geluidsignaal geeft aan dat de meting voltooid is. De gemeten temperatuur verschijnt dan op het scherm.

ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING

- Bij een nieuwe meting en om voor exactheid en hygiëne te zorgen, dient u het uiteinde van de sensor te reinigen met een in alcohol gedrenkt wattenstaafje. (afbeelding 5)

- Gebruik een droog en zacht doekje om het hoofddeel van de thermometer te reinigen. Gebruik nooit een schuurdoekje en dompel de thermometer nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof.

- Stel de thermometer nooit bloot aan extreme temperaturen, vocht, directe zonnestralen of

schokken.

- Raak de lens niet aan met uw vingers.

- Haal de thermometer niet uit elkaar.

OPLOSSINGEN BIJ PROBLEMEN

1. Het scherm blijft een te lage temperatuurindicatie aangeven:

• Controleer of het uiteinde van de sensor schoon is.

• Wellicht is de sensor niet correct in het oor geplaatst. De lens van de sensor moet precies tegen

de opening van het oorkanaal worden gehouden.

2. Het scherm blijft een te hoge temperatuurindicatie aangeven:

• Controleer of de lens van de sensor niet beschadigd is. Contacteer in dit geval de verkoper.

3. De aangegeven temperatuur ligt buiten het detectiebereik van de thermometer:

• Herhaal de procedure.

4. Zwakke batterij:

• Vervang de batterij.

ADVIES OVER AFVALVERWIJDERING

• De verpakking is volledig samengesteld uit milieuvriendelijke materialen die afgeleverd

kunnen worden in het sorteercentrum van uw gemeente om gebruikt te worden als secundaire

materialen. Het karton mag in een inzamelingscontainer voor papier geplaatst worden. De verpakkingsfolie kan ingeleverd worden bij het sorteer- en recyclagecentrum van uw gemeente.

• Wanneer u het toestel niet langer gebruikt, dient u dit op milieuvriendelijke wijze en overeenkomstig de wettelijke richtlijnen te verwijderen. Verwijder de batterij en deponeer deze in een inzamelbak zodat deze gerecycleerd kan worden.

Aandacht: de gebruikte batterijen mogen op geen enkele manier bij het huishoudelijk afval

geplaatst worden!!!

BEPERKTE GARANTIE

LANAFORM®garandeert dat dit product geen onderdelen met gebreken en fabricagefouten bevat voor

een periode van twee jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum, met uitzondering van de onderstaande gevallen.

LANAFORM®dekt geen schade veroorzaakt door een normale slijtage van dit product. Deze garantie op een product van LANAFORM® dekt geen schade, veroorzaakt door een slecht of

verkeerd gebruik van het toestel, een ongeluk, het bevestigen van niet-toegestane toebehoren, het aanpassen van het product of om het even welke andere omstandigheid, van welke aard ook, waar LANAFORM® geen controle over heeft.

LANAFORM® kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor gevolgschade, niet-rechtstreekse schade of

specifieke schade van welke aard ook.

Alle garanties die impliciet te maken hebben met de geschiktheid van het product zijn beperkt tot een periode van twee jaar, te rekenen vanaf de oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum in zover een aankoopsbewijs voorgelegd kan worden.

Na ontvangst zal LANAFORM® het toestel herstellen of vervangen, naargelang het geval, en zal het u nadien ook terugsturen. De garantie wordt enkel uitgeoefend via het LANAFORM® Service Center.

Elke onderhoudsactiviteit op dit product die wordt toevertrouwd aan elke andere persoon dan

iemand van het LANAFORM®Service Center annuleer t deze garantie.

• No exponga el «Termómetro 4 en 1» a la luz solar directa.

• Este aparato debe utilizarse cuando la temperatura ambiental se encuentre entre 16 y 40 °C.

• No exponga el termómetro a sobrecargas eléctricas.

• No exponga este termómetro a condiciones de temperatura extremas, superiores a 50 °C o inferiores a -20 °C.

• No utilice el aparato si la humedad relativa es superior al 95%.

• El termómetro auricular y frontal a infrarrojos se utiliza para tomar la temperatura del canal

auditivo o de la frente. No lo utilice para medir la temperatura rectal, oral o axilar.

SUSTITUCIÓN DE LA PILA

1. Con ayuda de una herramienta, presione sobre la lengüeta de la tapa de protección de la pila (figura 2).

2. Prepare una nueva pila de litio (3V) de tipo CR2032.

3. Con ayuda de la herramienta, saque la pila de su alojamiento y sustitúyala por otra nueva.

4. Vuelva a colocar la tapa de protección.

Para evitar accidentes o una mala utilización, guarde las pilas fuera del alcance de los niños.

Deseche las pilas usadas en los contenedores de recogida. Para evitar toda contaminación del

medioambiente, no tire las pilas a la basura.

REGULACIÓN DEL RELOJ

1. Con ayuda de una herramienta, presione sobre la lengüeta de la tapa de protección de la pila y

retire la tapa (figura 2).

2. Pulse el botón B (figura 4) para comenzar la puesta en hora.

3. Los números del reloj comenzarán a parpadear. Póngalo en hora utilizando el botón A (figura 4).

4. Para regular los minutos, pulse de nuevo el botón B y comenzarán a parpadear los minutos. Regúlelos utilizando el botón A.

5. Una vez finalizado el ajuste, pulse el botón B y vuelva a colocar la tapa de protección.

FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL TERMÓMETRO

El termómetro auricular y frontal LANAFORM es un aparato elec trónico delicado y de alta tecnología, que sirve para medir la temperatura corporal.

A modo informativo, en estas dos tablas se reflejan las temperaturas medias del cuerpo humano
