To abort calibration, press 7. to escape (ESC )
The instrument is calibrated.8.
TESTING
NOTE: The Salt PockeTester measures in part per thousand ppt which is 1 part per
thousand (ppt) = 1000 parts per million (ppm) Example: 3.1 ppt = 3,100 ppm
Remove cap and press 1. to turn on the tester.
Dip sensor fully into the pocketester cap of pool water sample.2.
Stir once and let the reading stabilize. Note the measured value.3.
To hold reading, press 4. Screen fl ashes HO once, then displays measurement

types are suitable and commonly available. Replace all (4) batteries together.
Waiting too long to replace the batteries can leaed to inaccurate readings and is
the most common cause of problems.
ERROR MESSAGES
bAt• Batteries are weak and need replacement
Er• Calibration is performed in solution value below 5% of full-scale range;
use a calibration standard with a higher value
Use fresh calibration standard
Sensor is dirty or has not been soaked
Or• Over range signal for measurements performed above the full-scale range
