CONNECT TO LA CROSSE VIEW™ APP
Remove the Rain Sensor funnel and insert 2 “AA” batteries
into the Battery Compartment.

MOUNTING
• Mount the Rain Sensor horizontally and ensure it’s level.
• The sensor should be mounted more than 3 feet above
ground.
• Your Rain sensor needs to be in an open area for accurate
readings.
• Make sure the base of your Rain Sensor is not in a
depression.
• This Rain Sensor has drainage holes in the bottom to allow
it to self-empty.

If you already own a La Crosse View connected display,
you can use your La Crosse View app to monitor your
Rain Sensor’s readings right on your phone.
1. Open your La Crosse View app and select ADD
DEVICES from the main menu.
2. Scan the Bar Code or type in the Device ID on the side
of the Battery Compartment.
3. Give the device a Name and Location, and press Save.
Within the next few minutes you should begin seeing
your Rain Sensor’s data within your app.

instructions to read the Rain Sensor in the station itself.
