The LaCie USB Key easily works without the need for a cable or cumbersome power-supply because it’s Hi-Speed USB 2.0 bus-powered. USB 2.0 offers a fast interface transfer rate of up to 480Mbits/s. To achieve USB 2.0 speed, your drive must be connected to a USB 2.0 host port.
