Instructions for installing Data Logger Software

1. Place the CD in the CD-Rom drive.

2. Open the Folder named “Installer”.

3. Double click on the file named “setup.” This opens the install wizard.

4. Follow the steps to complete the installation.

Instructions for Using Data Logger Software

1. Connect the Supplied RS232 cable to the back of the Dry bath and the PC.

2. Turn on the Dry Bath.

3. Go to the Start Menu and go to All Programs.

4. Next go to the folder named Dry_Bath and open the program named

Dry_Bath.

5. This will start the program; a brief overview of the important settings is

listed below.

Temp.SV – Temperature Setting of Dry Bath
Temp.PV – Temperature Reading of Dry Bath
REC. Period – Recording interval (Minutes/Seconds)
REC. – Recording On/Off
View Chart – Views the current run
View History – Allows you to load a log file to view the run on the
chart

6. Next click on the REC button. This will prompt the user to choose a

filename and save location for the log file(*.txt) the program creates.

7. The logger will record the set temperature, block temperature, date and

time while the unit is on. (This includes while the unit is stopped and the
set temperature is changed.
