Sicherheitshinweise zum Transport

Der Lithium-Ionen-Akku unterliegt den Anforderungen des Gefahrgutrechts. Der Akkupack kann vom Benutzer ohne weitere Auagen im öffentlichen Verkehrsraum transportiert werden. Beachten Sie beim Versand durch Dritte (Transportunternehmen) die besonderen Anforderungen an Verpackung und Kennzeichnung. Versenden Sie den Akkupack nur bei unbeschädigtem Gehäuse. Kleben Sie offenliegende Kontakte ab. Verpacken Sie den Akkupack fest und sicher. Der Akkupack darf sich nicht in der Verpackung bewegen können. Beachten Sie die nationalen Vorschriften.

Verletzungen und Beschädigungen durch explodierenden Akkupack. Laden Sie Akkupacks nur mit den zugelassenen Ladegeräten. Laden Sie nur unbeschädigte Akkupacks. Umbauten und nicht vom Hersteller autorisierte Veränderungen sind untersagt. Jede andere Verwendung ist unzulässig. Für Gefährdungen, die durch unzulässige Verwendung entstehen, haftet der Anwender. Laden Sie die Akkupacks nur mit den Akkupack-Ladegeräten für die KÄRCHER 18 V / 36 V Battery Power /

Battery Power+ Systeme. Verwenden Sie die Akkupacks 18 V nur mit den geeigneten Geräten des KÄRCHER 18 V Battery Power / Battery Power+ Systems. Verwenden Sie die Akkupacks 36 V nur mit den geeigneten Geräten des KÄRCHER 36 V Battery Power / Battery Power+ Systems. Prüfen Sie vor der Verwendung die Übereinstimmung von Akkupack und Lade-

gerät. Die Angaben zur Spannung (18 / 36 V) benden sich auf dem Ladegerät und dem Typenschild des Akkupacks.

Ladevorgang

Hinweis

Neue Akkupacks sind nur vorgeladen und müssen vor der ersten Benutzung vollständig geladen werden. Das Display wird beim ersten Ladevorgang aktiviert. Neue Akkupacks erreichen die volle Kapazität nach ca. 5 Lade- und Entladezyklen. Längere Zeit nicht verwendete Akkupacks vor der Benutzung nachladen. Außerhalb der zulässigen Temperaturwerte ist das Laden des Akkupacks nicht möglich. Das Display des Akkupacks zeigt dann das Temperatursymbol an. Zeigt das Display während des Ladevorgangs nichts an, beachten Sie bitte die Hinweise im Kapitel “Hilfe bei Störungen”.

VORSICHT

Loser Akkupack

Verletzungs- und Beschädigungsgefahr Achten Sie darauf, dass der Akkupack einrastet.

Hinweis

Das Display zeigt während der Verwendung die verbleibende Restlaufzeit an.

1. Den Akkupack in die Aufnahme des Geräts schieben.

2. Den Akkupack nach der Arbeit aus dem Gerät nehmen.

Laden Sie teilentladene Akkupacks nach der Benutzung auf.

Lagerung

ACHTUNG

Feuchtigkeit und Hitze

Beschädigungsgefahr Lagern Sie Akkupacks nur in Innenräumen mit niedriger Luftfeuchtigkeit und unter 20 °C. Wird der Akkupack bei über 70 % gelagert und mehr als 21 Tage nicht verwendet, aktiviert sich automatisch ein Lagermodus, der den Akkupack auf 70 % teilentlädt.

Das Display des Akkupacks zeigt während der Lagerung den aktuellen Ladezustand.

Hilfe bei Störungen

Störungen haben oft einfache Ursachen, die Sie mit Hilfe der folgenden Übersicht selbst beheben können. Im Zweifelsfall oder bei hier nicht genannten Störungen wenden Sie sich bitte an den autorisierten Kundendienst.

Bei einem Kurzschluss wird der Akkupack für 30 Sekunden gesperrt. Tritt der Kurzschluss häuger auf, wird der Akkupack dauerhaft gesperrt.

The lithium-ion battery is subject to the requirements of dangerous goods regulations. The battery pack can be transported by

the user in public trafc areas without any further restrictions.

When shipping by third parties (transport companies), special requirements for packaging and labelling must be ob served. Do not use the battery pack if the casing is damaged. Tape off open contacts. Pack the battery tightly and securely. The battery pack must not be able to move in the packaging. Observe the national regulations.

Charging process

Note

New battery packs are only pre-charged and must be fully charged before rst use. The display is activated during the rst charging process. New battery packs reach their full capacity after approx. 5 charging and discharging cycles. Charge battery packs that have not been used for a long time before use. The battery pack cannot be charged outside the permissible temperature value range. The battery pack display then shows the temperature symbol. If the display does not show anything during the charging process, please follow the notes in the "Troubleshooting" chapter.

1. Push the battery pack into the mounting on the device.

2. Remove the battery pack from the device after completing the work.

Charge partly discharged battery packs after use.

Storage

ATTENTION

Moisture and heat Risk of damage. Store the battery packs indoors only, at low humidity and at temperatures below 20 °C. If the battery pack is stored at over 70 % power and has not been used for more than 21 days, storage mode is automatically activated, which partially discharges the battery pack to 70 % power.

The battery pack display shows the current charging state during storage.

Troubleshooting guide

Malfunctions often have simple causes that you can remedy yourself using the following overview. When in doubt, or in the case of malfunctions not mentioned here, please contact your authorised Customer Service.

General fault

Battery pack is defective and disabled for safety.

1. Do not use the battery pack.

2. Dispose of the battery pack in the correct manner.

Faults during charging

The quick charger is defective.

1. Replace the quick charger.

1. Charge the battery pack.

1. Wait and see if the display shows the remaining charging time after a while. If the display remains off then the battery pack is defective. Replace the battery pack.

Battery pack not charging, display

1. Put the battery pack in a moderate temperature environment and wait until the battery pack temperature returns to the normal range, see the "Technical data" chapter. The charging process begins automatically.

If the short-circuit occurs more frequently, the battery pack is permanently disabled.

1. Connect the battery pack to the charger to unlock it.

Display shows remaining run time 0, device switches off

The battery pack is discharged.

1. Charge the battery pack.

Display shows a remaining capacity of 70 %, even though the battery pack has been fully charged

The battery pack is in automatic storage mode. The storage mode is activated if the battery pack has not been used for more than 21 days. This function protects the battery cells against rapid ageing and increases their service life.

1. Fully recharge the battery pack before next use.

Cycle de charge

Remarque

Les blocs-batterie neufs ne sont que préchargés et doivent être entièrement chargés avant leur première utilisation. L'écran est activé lors du premier cycle de charge. Les blocs-batterie neufs atteignent leur pleine capacité après env. 5 cycles de charge et décharge. Rechargez les batteries qui n'ont pas été utilisées sur une période prolongée avant de les utiliser. La charge du bloc-batterie n'est pas possible en dehors des valeurs de température admissibles. 1. Poussez le bloc-batterie dans le logement de l'appareil.

2. Sortez le bloc-batterie de l'appareil à la n du travail. Rechargez les batteries partiellement déchargées, après l'utilisation.

Stockage

ATTENTION

Humidité et chaleur

Risque d'endommagement! Ne stockez le bloc-batterie qu'à l'intérieur avec une humidité de l'air faible et à moins de 20 °C. En cas de stockage du bloc- batterie à plus de 70 % et pendant plus de 21 jours, un mode de stockage qui décharge partiellement le bloc-batterie à 70 % s'active automatiquement.

L'écran du bloc-batterie afche l'état de charge actuel pendant le stockage.

Dépannage en cas de pannes

Les pannes ont souvent des causes simples qui peuvent être éliminées soi-même à l'aide de l'aperçu suivant. En cas de doute, ou en absence de mention des pannes, veuillez vous adresser au service client autorisé.

En cas de court-circuit, le bloc-batterie est désactivé pendant 30 secondes. Si le court-circuit se répète, le blocbatterie est désactivé de façon permanente.
