Camera Operations
Take a picture
1. Select Menu > Get It Now > Get PIX >
Take PIX or press .
2. Focus on the image using the phone’s
display as the viewfinder.
Tip: Press left or right to zoom in or out.
3. Press to select Ta k e .
4. Press the left softkey to select Save
or the right softkey to select Erase.
5. Press when finished taking pictures.
Bluetooth® Wireless Technology
Setting up Bluetooth® wireless technology
on your phone
1. Select Menu > Settings & Tools > Bluetooth.
2. Press the left softkey to turn
Bluetooth On.
3. Press to select Add New Device.
“Add New Device?” displays on the screen.
3. Press to select Ye s .
4. Make sure that your wireless device is in
pairing mode (follow the device’s
instructions) and press .
Note: all wireless devices in the vicinity will
be detected regardless of whether they
are compatible with your phone or not.
5. Once the desired device has been detected,
use to highlight the device and press
to select Pair.
6. Enter the password provided with the
wireless accessory and press again.
“Waiting for <device name> to connect”
displays.
7. Once the device is ready, you must grant
“permission” for a wireless device to pair
with your phone. Press to highlight
an option:
- Always Ask
- Always Connect
8. Press . “<device name> pairing
complete” displays.
9. In order to connect the phone to the
device now, press to select Ye s at the
“CONNECT TO <DEVICE NAME>” prompt.
A message tells you that the device is
connecting and then, that it has been
successfully connected.

Connecting to a Bluetooth wireless
technology device
1. Select Menu > Settings & Tools >
Bluetooth.
2. Scroll to the device and press to
select it. “Connect to <device name>”
displays.
3. Press .
4. “TURN BLUETOOTH ON?” displays.
5. Press to select Ye s.
6. A message on the phone tells you that your
phone is connected to <device>. will
appear on the top row when a headset or
Hands-free car kit is connected.
7. You are now ready to use the wireless
device with your phone.
Get It Now® Operations
Downloading an application
Downloaded applications are stored under
the Get It Now menu, each with its own
unique icon.
1. Press to select Menu.
2. Press left or right to select Get It Now.
3. Press up or down to select an option.
4. Press up or down to select an
application:
- Get New App.
- Get New Ringtones.
5. You connect to the server, a catalog appears.
Select an option from the catalog. A list of
usages appears with costs specified.
6. Select a usage.
7. Select Ye s to confirm. The application is
downloaded to your phone.
Note: Download times vary.
8. To open the application now, select Ye s. If
you choose No, you return to the Get It
Now menu.
Get Tunes & Tones
· Get New Ringtones – download and
purchase new ringtones.
· My Ringtones – lists the ringtones
available in your phone.
· My Sounds – lists the sounds available in
your phone. Selecting Record New allows
you to record a memo.
Get PIX
· Get PIX > Get New PIX – download and
purchase new PIX.
· My PIX – view a picture or select other
options.
· PIX Place an on-line resource for picture
messaging.
· Take PIX – allows you to take a picture and
set camera options.
