Connecting the Device
1.Plug the cable cord/ATSC antenna into the TV connecting end of UB 435 TV Stick.
Note: Connect the cable for Clear QAM access. Plug the ATSC antenna for 8VSB
reception
2.Insert the UB 435 TV Stick into an available USB 2.0 port on your PC or laptop.
Note: Do not plug your UB 435 stick into a USB 1.1 port or USB Hub. It will not work.
The following steps will guide you through the steps for installing the Arcsoft TotalMedia
software.
1.Once you have properly installed the USB
TV tuner stick, you will see a dialog box
of “Found New Hardware Wizard”. Just
click cancel and get ready to insert the
included KWorld installation CD into your
CD-RO M driv e for a more co nveni ent
installation of the software.
2.Please insert the included installation CD
3.The main installation screen will appear.
Please select “Multimedia software and
driver” under “Quick Installation”.

License Agreement and then click “Next”.

5. You will be asked to choose either “Typical
Installation” or “Custom Installatio n”. It
is highly recommended that you choose
“Typical Inst al lation” as it inst al ls th e
needed driver, TotalMedia and other utility
programs for you. However, you may tick
on “Cust om Installation” if you wish to
install the programs individually.

6.The InstallShield Wizard of Total Media

InstallShield Wizard for TotalMedia” will
appear. Please click “Next” to continue.
8. Pl e a s e re a d th r o u g h th e “L i c e n s e
Agreement” and then click on “Yes”
9. Please enter the “Customer Information”.
You can make up a user name and a
company name and then type in the serial
number.
Note: The serial number is the string of
codes on the cover of the CD.
10.Please Select a destination folder for
installing the TotalMedia. You can click
on “Browse” to browse/c hoose other
destination folders. Then, click on
“Next”
11. Installing the TotalMedia will add new
program icons to the program folders
on the list of “Existing Folders”. You
can enter a new name for the “Program
Folders” or select one from the existing
folders. Then click “Next” to continue.

13. You will see a dialo g box informi ng
you “InstallShield Wizard Complete”,
which means the TotalMedia has been
successfully installed. Click “Finish” to
exit the wizard.
Please keep in mi nd th at yo u have to
restart the computer before running the
TotalMedia when you use the software for
the rst time.
Activating the TotalMedia
1.To activate th e TotalMe dia so ftw are, please move you r mouse cu rso r to “Start”
→”Programs”→”KWorld Multimedia”→”TotalMedia”. or
2.Double-click on the TotalMedia icon on your desktop.

For more detailed uses of the ArcSoft TotalMedia software, which is a third party software
for KWorld, please refer to ofcial ArcSoft TotalMedia user manual.

Q:How to check if the driver has been installed successfully or not?
A: Fir st, righ t-click on “My Computer”
on the de s k top, an d th e n g o to
“Propert ies”→“Ha rdware”→ ”Devi ce
Manager”→”Sound, video and game
controllers” to see if the device name
is on the lis t. If so, tha t me ans the
driver has been installed successfully
in yo ur computer. If not, i t means
th e dri ve r has not b ee n ins ta lle d
successfully. In that case, you may
have to remo ve wh a t yo u ha v e
installed and try to install it again.
