PageScope Light is a device control utility program provided by the
HTTP server built into the Pi6500e (printer controller for Di650/
Di551). With a standard Web browser, this utility can be used as a tool
for remote control of the Di650/Di551.

PageScope Light can be accessed directly from a Web browser.
1.Start the Web browser.
2.In the Address Bar, enter th e IP addres s of the pri nter co ntr oller as
shown below.

(Example) When the IP address of t he printer controller is

3.This will cause PageScope Light screen to appear.
2.1Operation
PageScope Light operation is identical to that for Internet Web pages.
Clicking a hot link jumps to the link destination, and the
Forward
buttons scroll through pages backwards and forward.

If an error message appears due to an incorrect setting, click the
button to r eturn to the previous page, and then t ry speci fying the setting
again.
In addition, if the Minolta PageScope Light logo in the top-left corner
of the page is clicked, the About page opens up. If the Minolta
PageScope Light logo in the About page is clicked, the Minolta web
site opens up in the browser.

2.2Entering the Password
To enter administrator mode , type the password into the “Admin
Password ” box in t he upper-left corner of the s creen, and t hen cl ick the
[Login] but ton. If t he corr ect p assw ord was e ntere d, you will be l ogged
into the administrator mode and the [Logout] button appears.
The PageScope Light settings can only be changed from the
administra tor mode.
Note that the password is case-sensitive, so be sure to type in uppercase and lower-case characters correctly. (The password you should
type in here is the same as the admini strator passwo rd you created with
Fiery Controller.) If a password is entered, that password will be valid
in ten minutes.

Set the number of copies to be printed.
Input Tray
Duplex
Select the input tray.
Specify if double-sided printing will be used.
If “Simplex” is selected, the pages are only printed on
one side of the page.
If “Duplex - SEF” is selected, the pages will be printed
on both sides of the pages for short-edge binding.
If “Duplex - LEF” is selected, the pages will be printed
on both sides of the pages for long-edge binding.

Select the paper size.
Set the orientation of the printed page to either
“Portrait” or “Landscape”.
Enter a value specifying the number of lines per page.
Enter the font size (between 1 and 999.75 points, in
units of 0.25 point).
Enter a value specifying the number of characters per
horizontal inch.
Select the symbol set you want to use with the font.
Enter a font number.
• PostScript Setting
You can use this menu to make the PostScript
settings.
Convert Paper Size
Specify if the paper size will be converted.
Default Paper Size
Specify whether the default paper size setting is in
inches (“US”) or “Metric”.
Print Cover Page
Specify whether or not a cover page is printed.
Allow Courier Substitution
Specify whether or not the Courier font is used when
the document font is not available in the printer.
Print to PostScript Error
Specify whether or not a PostScript error is printed.
