[2] Precautions on Handling

1. Precautions against static electricity

• Keep the PS-332 in an antistatic bag while
transporting or storing.

• Discharge electricity from your body by toucing
somewhere metallic portion before handling,
when working on the place where static electric
ity tend to generate such as on a carpet.

2. Do not touch the terminal of PS-332 directly with
hands.Direct touch may cause malcontinuity.

3. Do not give the machanical shock to the PS-332
by dropping or bending and so on.

[4] Setup procedure

1. Remove the 2 screws from the rear side of the
printer controller and remove the external cover.

2. Remove the printer relay board / V (one screw).

[3] Presetup checkpoints

Before beginning the setup procedure, turn off the
power supply to the IP-304 and the main unit, then
unplug the power cord.

3. Install the PS-332 on the printer relay board / V.

Caution:

Align the cut surface at the corner of the PS-332 to
install it in the correct direction.

4. Return the printer relay board / V to its original
position, making sure that the board’s connector
is firmly inserted in the socket of the PCI slot.

Caution:

Make sure that the board’s connector is firmly
inserted in the socket.

5. Secure the printer relay board / V in place (one
screw).

6. Slide the external cover into its original position
while pushing it, then fix the external cover (two
screws).
