Important safety instructions
Read through the directions for use carefully before using the appliance for
the first time and keep it for later use.
Hand over the manual to anyone, whom
you pass on the appliance to.
• Check the set for completeness, soon
after unpacking. Have all the parts
been delivered as per the delivery
contents?
• Do not allow children handle electronic appliances unsupervised, as they
may not always be able to assess the
possible injury hazards.
• Unplug the power cord after every
use and before cleaning, so as to prevent the appliance from switching on
inadvertently.
• Check the appliance and all the parts
for visible damages. The safety concept of the appliance works only
when it is in a perfect conditions.
Danger of electrical shock!
• Connect the appliance to a 12 V car
cigarette lighter installed as per
instructions.
• Use the supplied connecting cable
only.
• Do not operate the appliance with
damaged connecting pipe or plug.
• Get customer service to repair or
replace connecting cables and/or
appliances that are not functioning
properly or have been damaged.
• Never immerse the appliance in water. Just wipe it with a damp cloth.
• Do not expose the appliance to rain
and never use it in moist or wet surroundings or in rooms with a large
amount of dust Make sure that the
cable never gets damp or wet while
the appliance is in use.
• Unplug the appliance immediately
after use. The appliance is completely
free from power supply, only when
you pull the connecting plug out of
the cigarette lighter.
• Do not open or repair the appliance
casing yourself. In this case, the device
is not safe and the warranty is voided.
Fire hazard!
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use.
• Do not cover the ventilation slots
while the appliance is in operation.
• Do not keep the appliance in places
that are exposed to direct sunlight,
as this could lead to overheating and
cause irreparable damage.
• Allow for a free space of 10 cm on the
sides.
Injury hazard!
• Keep children away from the connecting cable and the appliance. Children
frequently underestimate the danger
from electrical appliances.
• Make sure that the appliance is
securely fixed.
• Do not operate the appliance, if it has
fallen off or is damaged.
Get the appliance checked and if
necessary, repaired by experts.
