Operating instructions
Congratulations on the purchase of your new digital radio-controlled gong!
Your new radio-controlled gong offers a wide range of possible applications: quick and easy to
attach, it can be used wherever there is no normal doorbell available or the installation of a conventional bell would be too complicated. It can provide useful service as an additional doorbell,
e.g. for side entrances, storerooms or if an existing doorbell cannot be heard in every room. It can
also be used as an emergency signal for older, needy or handicapped people (e.g. as an in-house
alarm in the bathroom) – ensuring help can be summoned quickly in an emergency. If you need
your radio-controlled gong somewhere else, just dismount it and take it with you – no problem
thanks to its cordless transmission technology.
Scope of supply:
1 receiver
1 transmitter with pushbutton
1 battery 12 V type 23 A for transmitter
Fastening material:
2 screws, 2 dowels, 1 double-sided adhesive strip
Putting into operation and attachment
Remove the transmitter, the receiver and the battery from the packaging.
Open the battery compartment on the receiver by pressing the cover slightly and sliding it
downwards.
Insert three 1.5 V batteries of the type AA (not included in the scope of supply) according to
the + and — marks into the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment again.
Remove the blue cover from the transmitter by pushing it upwards. Then open the transmitter
housing by inserting a screwdriver into the recess at the bottom edge of the transmitter until
the housing opens. Now insert the included 12 V battery into the transmitter according to the
+ and — marks.
The required ring or melody can be selected for the radio-controlled gong by pressing the red
button on the board of the transmitter.
Once you have decided which ring or melody you would like, replace the upper housing cover
and press it together rmly until you feel it lock in place.
Before you push the blue cover back onto the transmitter, you can write on the name plate.
We recommend using a non-soluble felt pen or similar for this.
The transmitter and the receiver can now be mounted in the required positions using the
fastening material included.
Note: The transmitter is splashwater-proof which means it can also be mounted outdoors. It must
never be exposed to direct contact with water(e.g. rain), however, or other liquids! The receiver
may only be used in closed rooms and must not be exposed to any kind of humidity, splashwater
etc.!
If mounted in closed rooms, the transmitter can either be screwed in place or xed using the
adhesive strip. If it is mounted outdoors, we recommend screwing it in place. The receiver should
always be screwed in place due to its greater weight.
