BEFORE YOU BEGIN
S Observe all local plumbing and
building codes.
S Inspect the waste and supply
tubing; replace if necessary.
S Prior to installation, unpack the
new lavatory and carefully inspect it for damage. Return the lavatory to its protective carton until you are ready to install it.
S Use the template supplied with
the lavatory.
Putty Knife
Scissors
Drill (1/2” drill bit or larger)
S Do not substitute another
sealant if one is supplied with this lavatory.
S If possible, assemble the faucet
and drain to the lavatory before installing the lavatory.
S Refer to the rough-in page
packed with the product for proper installation for ADA applications.

Keyhole Saw or Saber Saw

REMOVE EXISTING LAVATORY

Turn off the water supply to the faucet.
Open the faucet valves, then disconnect the supply lines.
Disconnect the drain assembly, and remove the trap.
Remove the existing lavatory.

Cut along line on template where indicated for countertop opening.
Fold template along dotted line and position on countertop with short flap hanging over the front of the counter.
Verify cabinet clearance beneath the countertop.
Trace around the template on the countertop with a pencil.
Measure the thickness of the front lip of the countertop (see A).
Draw a straight line parallel to the front edge of the countertop the same distance in as the lip thickness.

If cutting into a new countertop, first drill a 1/2” hole within the cut line. Insert saber saw or keyhole saw through this hole.
Cut the top surface of the countertop first, as shown, followingtheinsideedgeof the pencil line.

Cut the front edge of the countertop.
NOTE
: Extra care should be
taken not to cut below the bottom of the front countertop edge.
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury or
product damage. Large
lavatories are very heavy. Get help lifting the lavatory into place.
Temporarily position the lavatory in the opening, and adjust to fit.
Trace a pencil line around the outsideedgeofthelavatory.
Remove the lavatory.
Trimtheedgeofthe countertop, starting at the edge of the opening up to the guideline as shown.
Place lavatory into opening again and check fit. Excess cabinet material may need to be removed for proper fit.

IF THE FAUCET AND DRAIN ARE NOT INSTALLED, INSTALL THEM AT THIS TIME. BE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS PACKED WITH THE PRODUCT.

Apply two beads of sealant to the inside of the pencil line.
Spread the sealant evenly with aputtyknifetocreateahalf inch wide strip from the guideline to the opening.
NOTE
: Apply sealant quickly as
it sets within minutes.
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury or
product damage. Large
lavatories are very heavy. Get help lifting the lavatory into place.
Carefully place the lavatory in the cutout using the guidelines to position. Press down firmly.
Immediatelywipeawayany excess sealant with a damp cloth. Fill any voids between the lavatory and countertop needed.
Verify that the lavatory has not moved out of position.
Allow the sealant to cure for at least 30 minutes before proceeding.

CONNECT SUPPLIES

Connect the drain assembly. Align trap inlet with tailpiece. Cut tailpiece if necessary so it extends1”to2”intotrap.
Carefully slide trap over tailpiece. Slide gaskets down onto trap and tighten trap nuts
Connect the faucet supply lines and complete the faucet installation according to the instructions packed with the faucet. Be careful not to move the lavatory out of position.
Turn on water supply and check supply and drain connections for leaks.
CLEAN-UP

DO NOT USE ABRASIVES on this product, as they will scratch and ruin the surface. Stubborn stains, paint, or tar can be removed with turpentine or paint thinner.
