1. Strip 1-1/2" to 2" (38 to 50 mm) of cable jacket; trim shielding,
pullstring, and plastic cross-member as necessary (Fig. 1).
If drain wire is present, remove outer foil shield and twist and

loop as shown in (Fig. 2a).
If drain wire is not present, carefully fold back foil shield and

trim foil shield even with far end of external shield.
Untwist and order wires (see wiring order on other side).

Slide wires into and through connector body, ensuring that the

drain wire or foil shield is under external shield (Fig. 2b). Using
hand or oval opening of plier, carefully wrap external shield
around cable. Ensure drain wire or foil shield are captured
inside external shield.
Slide assembly into crimping tool and crimp/trim* (Fig. 3).

Remove from tool; verify & test connections.
