PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The plenum rated KDA series amplifiers enable
the possibility of designing distributed amplified
systems through the use of a single Cat 5 cable for
digital audio distribution as well as remote control
and monitoring with the K8 digital audio distribution
system. Applications for KDA amplifiers include ceiling
placement to drive multiple divisible conference
rooms and meeting facilities, bridged and placed
near reinforcement loudspeakers to create amplified
systems out of passive loudspeakers and easy location
in conference room furniture to drive media or
overhead loudspeakers. Multiple KDA amplifiers may
be daisy chained together eliminating the multiple
long copper runs associated with 70/100V systems
and allowing easy facility expansion with no concern
for induced noise or ground loops. KDA amplifiers offer
an efficient and effective alternative to creating large
area multizone systems in new facilities by eliminating
amplifier floor space requirements and ensuring
quality operation.
