The cry ptographic func tions mentioned in t he present sectio n are implemented in the rmware of the
product . The cryptogr aphic functions o f the rmware can be chan ged only during the ma nufacturing
process and c annot be changed by a st andard user. The produ ct is designed for ins tallation by the
user in accordan ce with the step-by -step instruct ions in the installati on user guide supplie d with the
product . It can therefore be us ed without furt her substantial supp ort from the suppl ier.
The SSD is desig ned for use in desktop a nd notebook compute r workloads, and is n ot intended for
server environments.
1. Based on “out- of-box perfor mance” using a PCIe 3.0 mot herboard. Spee d may vary due to host
hardware, so ftware and usag e. IOMETER rando m 4K read/write is base d on an 8GB partitio n.
2. Some of the lis ted capacity on a Fl ash storage device is us ed for formatting a nd other functio ns and is
thus not availa ble for data storage . As such, the actual av ailable capacit y for data storage is le ss than
what is listed o n the products. Fo r more information, g o to Kingston’s Flash memor y guide at
kingston.com/ashguide.
3. Total Bytes Writ ten (TBW) is der ived from the JEDEC Cli ent Workload (JESD219A).
4. Limited war ranty based on 5 year s or “Percentage Used”, which c an be found using the K ingston SSD
Manager (K ingston.com/SSDMan ager). For NVMe SSDs, a new unu sed product will sh ow a Percentage
Used value o f 0, whereas a product th at reaches its warran ty limit will show a Percent age Used value of
greater than or e qual to one hundred (100). See Kin gston.com/wa for de tails.
