aptX is a special method to handle audio over Bluetooth that enables higher quality audio than available on standard Bluetooth
connections. aptX allows a lossless audio transfer from a device to a speaker that is enabled with aptX.

To use aptX your source device must have aptX; then you simply pair the devices as you do with any Bluetooth devices and the two
devices will automatically determine that they both have aptX and if so will transfer audio via the aptX codec. It is important to note that
aptX needs to be supported on both sides of the Bluetooth connection. To determine if a Bluetooth-enabled device supports aptX, just
look for the aptX logo on the product or its packaging, or you may fi nd it listed under the device’s Bluetooth settings.

El aptX es un método especial para controlar el audio a través de Bluetooth, que permite una mayor calidad de audio que la de las conexiones estándar de Bluetooth.
El método aptX permite una transferencia de audio sin pérdidas desde su dispositivo a un emisor que cuenta con aptX.

Pour utiliser l’aptX, votre périphérique source doit être équipé de cette technologie ; il vous suffi t alors de jumeler les deux appareils comme vous le faites avec tous
les périphériques Bluetooth et ceux-ci détermineront automatiquement qu’ils ont tous deux l’aptX. Si c’est le cas, le signal audio sera transféré via le codec aptX. Il
est important de noter que l’aptX doit être pris en charge des deux côtés de la connexion Bluetooth. Pour savoir si un périphérique compatible Bluetooth prend en
charge l’aptX, il vous suffi t de trouver le logo aptX sur le produit ou sur son emballage, ou vous le trouverez peut-être répertorié sous les paramètres Bluetooth des
périphériques.

KPM50 is unresponsive or will not power on:

1. Check that the battery is fully charged by connecting the KPM50 to a known-good power source. Allow the

KPM50 to charge for at least 4 hours, then power on the speaker. The battery is full when the battery status LED
turns off.

2. Reset the KPM50 by pressing and holding the power button.

KPM50 will not pair or connect:

1. If you have previously paired with the KPM50, remove the pairing from your device by pressing ‘Unpair’ or ‘Forget

this Device’ per the instructions for your audio device.

2. Press and hold the PLAY|PAUSE button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. Make sure your audio device is
scanning or in ‘discovery mode’, then select Kicker KPM50.

Device paired and connected, but volume is low or inaudible:

Check the audio levels of both devices.

El KPM50 no responde o no enciende:

1. Revise que la batería esté cargada completamente, conectando el KPM50 a una fuente de energía que sepa que

funcione correctamente. Deje cargando el KPM50 por lo menos unas 4 horas, y luego enciende la bocina. La batería
está cargada completamente cuando el LED de estado de la batería esté en ROJO mientras se está cargando.

2. Reinicie el KPM50 manteniendo presionado el botón de encendido al mismo tiempo que inserta el cable USB
de carga. El cable USB debe estar conectado a una fuente de energía que sepas que funcione
correctamente.

El KPM50 no se emparejará o conectará:

1. Si ya has emparejado el dispositivo previamente con el KPM50, por favor usa “Desemparejar” u “Omitir este dis-

positivo” según las instrucciones del dispositivo de audio.

2. Mantén presionado el botón Bluetooth|Teléfono durante 3 segundos para entrar al modo de
emparejamiento. Asegúrate de que el dispositivo de audio esté escaneando en “modo de descubrimiento”, y selec­ciona Kicker KPM50.

El dispositivo está emparejado y conectado, pero el volumen es bajo o no se escucha:

Le KPM50 ne répond plus ou ne s’allume pas :

1. Vérifi ez que la batterie est totalement chargée en reliant le KPM50 à une source d’alimentation sûre. Laissez le

KPM50 se recharger pendant au moins 4 heures et demi puis allumez le haut-parleur. La batterie est
complètement rechargée quand le LED d’état de la batterie devient ROUGE fi xe en chargement.

2. Réinitialisez le KPM50 en appuyant et en maintenant enfoncé le bouton de mise en marche tout en branchant
le câble de recharge USB. Le câble USB doit être relié à une source d’alimentation fi able.

Le KPM50 ne s’appaire pas ou ne se connecte pas :

1. Si vous avez effectué l’appairage préalable de votre appareil avec le KPM50, veuillez l’arrêter ou supprimer cet

appareil de la liste selon les instructions de votre appareil audio.

2. Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton Bluetooth|Phone pendant 3 secondes pour passer en mode ap­pairage. Assurez-vous que votre appareil audio est en mode recherche ou découverte, puis sélectionnez le Kicker
KPM50.

L’appareil est appairé et connecté mais le niveau sonore est faible ou inaudible :

Vérifi ez les niveaux audio des deux appareils.
