ENGLISH

The KICKER KPw is a water-resistant, Bluetooth® speaker system designed for portability without compromising
on sound quality. Use it anywhere tunes are desired!

Charging

It is important to fully charge the KPw for at least 5 hours before fi rst use. Peel back
the protective cap and, using the included USB cable, connect the power supply to
the micro USB charge port of the KPw. To maintain battery life, fully charge the
battery before storing for an extended period of time.

Powering

To turn on the KPw, press the power button. The KPw will play a system tone and
display a blinking green LED ring around the Bluetooth|Phone button. It is not necessary
to peel back the protective cap.

Bluetooth Pairing

To enter Bluetooth pairing mode at any time, press and hold the Bluetooth|Phone
button. The blue LED ring will blink. Search for devices from your Bluetooth device and

select ‘Kicker KPw’. The blue LED ring will be solid once your device is paired. Once
paired, the KPw will scan for and connect to your audio device when powered

on.

Volume Control

Use the volume slider to increase or decrease the volume level. When using the
auxiliary input, set the output level of your audio device as high as possible without
distorting, then adjust the volume slider of the KPw.

Input Selection

The KICKER KPw will always default to Bluetooth input. If a connected Bluetooth source
is playing audio while you are attempting to use the 3.5mm auxiliary
input, the Bluetooth source will override the analog source. To use the Aux input, con­nect a 3.5mm stereo cable and stop playback from the connected Bluetooth device.

The KPw will allow you to answer incoming
phone calls and communicate with the built-in
microphone, located on the front of the KPw
between the speakers. A system tone will
play when there is an incoming call. Press the
Bluetooth|Phone button when receiving
a phone call to answer. Audio playback will
resume when the call is completed.

Troubleshooting

KPw is unresponsive or will not power on:

1. Check that the battery is fully charged by connecting the KPw to a known-good power source. Allow the
KPw to charge for at least 3.5 hours, then power on the speaker. The battery is full when the battery status
LED turns solid RED while charging.

2. Reset the KPw by pressing and holding the power button while inserting the USB charging cable. The

USB cable needs to be connected to a known-good power source.

KPw will not pair or connect:

1. If you have previously paired your device with the KPw, then please ‘Unpair’ or ‘Forget this Device’ per the

instructions for your audio device.

2. Press and hold the Bluetooth|Phone button for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. Make sure your audio
device is scanning or in ‘discovery mode’, then select Kicker KPw.

Device paired and connected, but volume is low or inaudible:

Check the audio levels of both devices.

El KICKER KPw es un sistema de altavoces impermeables Bluetooth®, diseñados para ser trasladados sin
comprometer la calidad del sonido. ¡Úsalos siempre que desees música!

Carga

Es importante que cargues por completo los KPw 5 horas mínimo antes de su
primer uso. Retira la tapa de protección y, usando el cable USB incluido, conecta la
fuente de energía al puerto de carga micro USB del KPw. Para mantener la vida
de la batería, carga por completo la batería antes de almacenarla por un periodo
prolongado.

Para prender el KPw, oprima el botón de encendido. El KPw reproducirá el tono
del sistema y mostrará un anillo de LED parpadeante color verde alrededor del botón
Bluetooth|Teléfono No es necesario retirar la tapa de protección.

Emparejamiento del Bluetooth

Control de volumen

El KICKER KPw siempre estará preestablecido con entrada Bluetooth. Si una fuente
Bluetooth conectada está reproduciendo audio mientras que intenta usar la entrada
auxiliar de 3.5mm, la fuente Bluetooth anulará la fuente análoga. Para usar la entrada
auxiliar, conecta un cable estéreo de 3.5mm y detén la reproducción del dispositivo

Resolución de problemas

El KPw no responde o no enciende:

1. Revise que la batería esté cargada completamente, conectando el KPw a una fuente de energía que sepa

que funcione correctamente. Deje cargando el KPw por lo menos unas 3.5 horas, y luego enciende la bocina.
La batería está cargada completamente cuando el LED de estado de la batería esté en ROJO mientras se
está cargando.

2. Reinicie el KPw manteniendo presionado el botón de encendido al mismo tiempo que inserta el cable
USB de carga. El cable USB debe estar conectado a una fuente de energía que sepas que funcione
correctamente.

El KPw no se emparejará o conectará:

1. Si ya has emparejado el dispositivo previamente con el KPw, por favor usa “Desemparejar” u “Omitir este

dispositivo” según las instrucciones del dispositivo de audio.

2. Mantén presionado el botón Bluetooth|Teléfono durante 5 segundos para entrar al modo de
emparejamiento. Asegúrate de que el dispositivo de audio esté escaneando en “modo de descubrimiento”, y
selecciona Kicker KPw.

Laden

Bevor Sie das Gerät das erste Mal verwenden, ist es wichtig, die Batterie mind­estens 5 Stunden lang aufzuladen. Öffnen Sie die Schutzkappe und verbinden Sie
das beiliegende USB-Kabel mit dem Micro-USB-Ladeanschluss des KPw. Um
die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu verlängern, laden Sie diesen komplett auf, bevor
Sie das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht benutzen.

Betrieb

Um das KPw einzuschalten, drücken Sie die Power-Taste. Das KPw spielt einen
Signalton ab und der LED-Ring der Bluetooth|Phone-Taste beginnt grün zu blinken. Das
Öffnen der Schutzkappe ist nicht erforderlich.

Mit Bluetooth verbinden

Um den Bluetooth-Verbindungsmodus zu aktivieren, drücken Sie die
Bluetooth|Phone-Taste und halten Sie sie gedrückt. Der LED-Ring beginnt blau zu
blinken. Rufen Sie die Bluetooth-Gerätesuche Ihres Bluetooth-fähigen Geräts auf und
wählen Sie das „Kicker KPw“ aus der Liste aus. Der LED-Ring leuchtet durchgehend
blau, sobald die Verbindung hergestellt wurde. Nachdem Sie die erste Verbindung
hergestellt haben, sucht das Gerät bei jedem Einschalten nach bekannten Geräten und
verbindet sich automatisch mit diesen.

Lautstärkeregler

Verwenden Sie den Lautstärke-Schieberegler, um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen
oder zu senken. Wenn Sie den Aux-Eingang verwenden, sollten Sie zunächst die
Lautstärke des Ausgabegeräts so hoch wie möglich einstellen, ohne dass das
Signal verzerrt wird. Im Anschluss sollten Sie den Lautstärke-Schieberegler des KPw
verwenden, um die Lautstärke nach Bedarf anzupassen.

Eingangsauswahl

Standardmäßig verwendet das KICKER KPw den Bluetooth-Eingangskanal zur
Signalübertragung. Falls Sie den 3,5mm-Aux-Eingang mit einer externen Quelle
verbinden, während das KPw mit einem Bluetooth-Gerät verbunden ist und ein Signal
eingeht, wird das KPw den Bluetooth-Signaleingang bevorzugen. Um den Aux-Eingang
zu verwenden, verbinden Sie ihn über ein 3,5mm-Stereokabel mit einem Ausgabegerät
und stoppen Sie die Wiedergabe zeitgleich verbundener Bluetooth-Geräte.

Über das eingebaute Mikrofon an der Vorderseite des KPw können Sie eingehende Anrufe annehmen und
darüber kommunizieren. Bei eingehenden Anrufen spielt das KPw einen Signalton ab. Um einen eingehenden
Anruf entgegenzunehmen, drücken Sie auf die Bluetooth|Phone-Taste. Die Audiowiedergabe wird nach

Beendigung des Anrufs automatisch fortgesetzt.

Fehlerbehebung

KPw reagiert nicht oder lässt sich nicht einschalten:

1. Verwenden Sie eine funktionierende Stromquelle, um sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät voll geladen ist. Lassen

Sie das Gerät mindestens 3,5 Stunden laden, bevor Sie es einschalten. Die Batterie ist voll geladen, sobald die

Batteriestatus-LED durchgehend ROT leuchtet.

2. Setzen Sie das KPw zurück, indem Sie die Power-Taste gedrückt halten, während Sie das USB-Ladekabel

anschließen. Das USB-Kabel muss an eine funktionsfähige Stromquelle angeschlossen werden.

In den folgenden Fällen ist eine Verbindung mit dem KPw nicht möglich:

befi ndet und wählen Sie dann das Kicker KPw aus der Liste.

Chargement

Il est important de charger complètement le KPw durant au moins 5 heures avant
la première utilisation. Retirez le capuchon protecteur et reliez l’alimentation au port
de recharge micro USB du KPw à l’aide du câble USB fourni. Pour prolonger la
durée de vie de la batterie, rechargez-la complètement avant de la ranger pour une
longue durée.

Pour allumer le KPw, appuyez sur le bouton de mise en marche. Le KPw émettra un
son et affi chera un anneau vert clignotant autour du bouton Bluetooth|Phone. Il n’est pas
nécessaire de remettre le capuchon protecteur.

Pour activer le mode d’appairage Bluetooth à tout moment, appuyez sur le bouton
Bluetooth|Phone. Un anneau bleu clignotera. Effectuez la recherche des appareils

depuis votre dispositif Bluetooth et sélectionnez « Kicker KPw ». L’anneau bleu cessera

Réglage du volume

Utilisez le curseur du volume pour augmenter ou diminuer le volume sonore.
Quand vous utilisez l’entrée auxiliaire, veuillez régler le niveau de sortie de votre
appareil audio aussi haut que possible jusqu’à distorsion, puis ajustez le curseur du
volume sur le KPw.

Sélection de l’entrée

Le KICKER KPw sélectionnera toujours l’entrée Bluetooth par défaut. Si une source
Bluetooth connectée est en cours de lecture pendant que vous tentez d’utiliser
l’entrée auxiliaire 3,5 mm, la source Bluetooth se substituera à la source
analogique. Pour utilisez l’entrée auxiliaire, connectez un câble stéréo 3,5 mm et arrêtez
la lecture audio sur l’appareil Bluetooth connecté.

à des appels téléphoniques et de
communiquer avec son microphone
intégré, situé sur l’avant du KPw entre
les haut-parleurs. Une sonnerie retentira
si vous recevez un appel. Appuyez sur

répondre à l’appel que vous recevez. La
lecture audio reprendra une fois l’appel
terminé.

Dépannage

Le KPw ne répond plus ou ne s’allume pas :

1. Vérifi ez que la batterie est totalement chargée en reliant le KPw à une source d’alimentation sûre. Laissez le

KPw se recharger pendant au moins 3 heures et demi puis allumez le haut-parleur. La batterie est
complètement rechargée quand le LED d’état de la batterie devient ROUGE fi xe en chargement.

2. Réinitialisez le KPw en appuyant et en maintenant enfoncé le bouton de mise en marche tout en bran­chant le câble de recharge USB. Le câble USB doit être relié à une source d’alimentation fi able.

Le KPw ne s’appaire pas ou ne se connecte pas :

1. Si vous avez effectué l’appairage préalable de votre appareil avec le KPw, veuillez l’arrêter ou supprimer cet

appareil de la liste selon les instructions de votre appareil audio.

2. Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton Bluetooth|Phone pendant 5 secondes pour passer en mode
appairage. Assurez-vous que votre appareil audio est en mode recherche ou découverte, puis sélectionnez le
Kicker KPw.

L’appareil est appairé et connecté mais le niveau sonore est faible ou inaudible :

Vérifi ez les niveaux audio des deux appareils.
