newer revision) requir e runn ing DI AGLIM7. DI AGLIM7 is a n int ernal R O M-ba se d IBAS IC
program which rec onfigures specific diag nostic limits for proper hardware operation and
compatibil ty. Fa ilure to run DIAGLI M7 a f te r a fi rm wa re upgrade may result in incorrect di­agnostic resu lts, e rror me ssages, or mis- dia gnosis of Test Set opera tional integrity.

Run DIAGLIM7 after upgradin g Tes t Set firmwar e (from A. 02. XX and ear lier to a newer re­vision). Use the following procedure:

Step 1:
Check the Test Set’s curre nt f irmwa re re vision on the CONFIG screen and upgrade the firm­ware if necessary. Firmware c an be pu rchase d by ordering Agilent P/N E8285- 61815.

Step 2:
After the firmwa re has been upgrad ed and the Test Set has powe r ed up suc c essfully; go to
the TESTS screen, select ’ROM’ from the ’Select Procedure Location:’ field. Select ’DI­AGLIM7’ from the ’Select Procedure Filename:’ field. Press Run Test (k1). Wait until the
diagnostic li mits have been download ed (the ’ *’ in the uppe r right c or ne r of th e scr e en disa p­pears).
