to use your toaster
1Raise the lever.
2 Insert the bread, muffins, bagels
etc,
3 Connect to the power supply.
4Lower the lever.
5 Select the number of slots:-
●
2 slot toaster (TT930 series)
Use the left hand slot when toasting
one slice of bread, a single item of
food or the sandwich cage. Select
this slot by pressing the left side of
the slot selector switch marked ‘I’.
To select both slots press the right
hand side of the slot selector switch
marked ‘II’.
●
4 slot toaster (TT940 series)
Depress the left hand side of the
slot selector marked ‘II’ to select
the two slots on the left hand side
of the toaster.
Depress the right hand side of the
slot selector marked ‘IIII’ to select
all four slots.
Important
For best results, food should be
inserted into ALL the selected slots.
If any slots are left empty the food
will toast unevenly.
6 Use the on/off/timer control and
select the required setting. Toasting
will start immediately and the slot
selector switch will illuminate.
It is advisable to initially start off
with a lower setting until you
become familiar with the toaster.
7The timer will make a ticking noise
as it counts down and when it
reaches ‘0’ a bell will sound. The
heating element will switch off and
the slot selector indicator light will
go out. The toast will NOT pop up
but will keep warm inside the
toaster.
8To remove the toast raise the lever.
The lever is fitted with an extra rise
position which will lift the carriage to
a higher position to allow for small
items to be removed more easily.
Important – At any time the lever
can be raised to inspect or remove
the toast. To switch off the
elements turn the timer back to ‘0’.
If the timer does not return to ‘0’
after each operation, the toaster will
automatically switch off after
approximately 6 minutes. To
continue toasting return the timer
control to ‘0’ before re-selecting the
required setting.
9 After use, unplug the toaster.
