LONG BEACH, CA – Kenwood USA Corporation, with its outstanding reputation as

a proven supplier of performance driven mobile and marine entertainment gear, has

introduced a new line of speakers for the marine marketplace.

Setting new standards for this growing marketplace, Kenwood’s engineers have

designed these new marine audio speaker systems to provide optimum musical

performance and durability for enthusiasts in the watercraft environment.

KFC-1652MR 6.5” two-way speakers are ruggedly built and deliver great audio

sound reproduction in the harsh marine environment. Beautifully styled, these no-

compromise speakers provide outstanding musical performance on the water as you

go.

Offering 120 watts of power handling capability, the KFC-1652MR all-weather

speakers feature waterproof cone fabrication, UV resistant grilles, durable speaker

frames and a balanced dome tweeter, making them an outstanding addition to any

marine audio system. The KFC-1652MR is available in either white or black.

The KFC-W254MR 10” subwoofer, also designed specifically for marine application,

delivers the punch you have come to expect from all Kenwood audio systems.

Designed for free air suspension mounting, the KFC-W254 features 500 watts of

power handing capacity, corrosive resistant gold plated terminals, and a vented

4 ohm voice coil design.

If you want to kick it up a notch, the P-WD250 MRW 10” powered subwoofer

system includes a 200 watt maximum power class D amplifier with marine-grade

conformal coated PCB to protect all of the internal system electronics. The woofer

features a dual voice coil design, gold plated terminals, and all-weather component

construction.

Used in conjunction with Kenwood’s new KTS-300MR CD receiver, KTS-MP400MR

CD/MP3/WMA receiver or KDC-225MR CD receiver, these speaker systems will

bring new excitement to your next on-the-water excursion.

Suggested retail price for the KFC-1652MR is $149.00 and the P-WD250MR is

$249.00. Both models are scheduled for March, 2005 delivery. Suggested retail

price for the KFC-W254MR is $149.00 and is scheduled for April, 2005 delivery.
