Key Features:

*Air Cooled SOHC Single Cylinder Engine

*Independent Front Suspension

*Exclusive Varible Limited Slip Front Differential

*Fully Automatic Transmission

*Sealed Rear Brake System

Engine

*The cylinder is set at 45° for a lower centre of gravity with better ground clearance, as well as allowing easy access to the spark plug.

*Electric starter with recoil backup allows you to start the ATV even if the battery is low.

*A standard oil cooler with automatic fan provides optimum temperature control.

*Automotive type spin-on oil filter helps ease maintenance.

Fuel System

*CV carburettor provides excellent throttle response, power and torque across the rpm range.

*Snorkel air intake draws cleaner, drier and cooler air for more power and reduced air filter maintenance.

*Oval-type air filter provides large intake area and reduces dust build-up on the filter.

Kawasaki Automatic Power-Drive System (KAPS)

*Continuously variable transmission is fully automatic.

*Cooling air flows in from a snorkel in front of the steering head to keep out water and dust for reduced wear.

Belt service / warning system

* Prompts periodic belt maintenance and warns rider of impending belt failure or excessive belt wear and reduces engine power until the problem is corrected.

Electrically “Selectable” 2WD/4WD

• Choose between 2WD and 4WD for changing terrain and applications with the flip of a switch.

Kawasaki Engine Brake Control (KEBC)

*Applies engine braking under certain conditions for added slowing power down hills.

*Automatically compensates for CVT belt wear for consistent performance.

Independent MacPherson Strut Front Suspension

*Aluminum steering knuckles are extra tough and feature added protection for the CV boots.

*Provides a comfortable ride with 170 mm of suspension travel.

Swingarm Rear Suspension

*Provides a comfortable ride with 184 mm of suspension travel.

*Single damper with coil spring and stepless spring preload adjustment.

Exclusive Variable Limited-Slip Front Differential

Control

* Allows the driver to control the amount of slip in the limited-slip front differential.

Dual Front Disc Brakes

*Dual discs with twin piston calipers provide solid stopping power.

*The discs are recessed within the wheels to help protect them from debris.

*Calipers are mounted rigidly for better brake feel and control.

Sealed Rear Brake System

* Multi-disc rear brake system is totally enclosed within the rear gear case.

*Operates in a sealed oil bath so that the brake is unaffected by water, mud, dust and debris.

*Compact design provides more ground clearance at the rear end.

Bodywork

*Rugged guards on the front suspension help protect the plastic covers on the front drive shaft.

*Thermoplastic olefin bodywork has a high gloss

finish for great looks and is more scratch resistant than polyethylene plastic so it stays looking good longer.

Transportability

* Compact enough to fit in the bed of most full-sized SUV trucks.
