The Teryx 750 FI 4x4’s powerful fuel-injected V-twin engine and sport-tuned wide-body chassis were already at the front f the Recreational Utility Vehicle pack.
For 2011, an aggressive new front end with a hinged, forward­tilting hood offers front suspension and cooling system access and eases maintenance. Upgrades to the mighty V-twin’s cool­ing system enhance long-term reliability, and an even sturdier tilting cargo bed out back provides extra durability. In addition, a host of detail improvements for more efcient production and vehicle longevity are designed to do what Kawasaki has always done: keep the performance high while keeping the bottom line low.

New forward-tilting hood provides a distinctive new style and easy access to the radiator and front suspension. Revised bed frame is more rigid to resist warping. 71 mm larger diameter radiator fan and revised hose layout improves cooling efciency. Slightly increased ywheel mass offers a slight in­crease in torque feel. ECU cuts engine speed if parking brake is left on. Coolant reservoir relocated under hood for easier access.

Electronic Digital Fuel Injection

Powerful V-Twin Engine
Bigger than most anything in the RUV category, the Teryx 750 FI 4x4’s revolutionary V-twin engine produces loads of power and low-end torque that, combined with the proven Kawasaki Automatic Powerdrive System (KAPS) continuously variable transmission, is virtually unbeatable on the trail or track.
• All-aluminum cylinders with Electrofusion coating are durable and help the engine produce more power. The aluminum bores eliminate cast iron cylinder liners to reduce weight.
• Weight is shaved from the engine by lightening grooves carved into the crank webs, using lightweight rare earth magnets and a small generator and removing excess material wherever possible.
• V-twin design and oversquare bore and stroke help produce high torque with a broad, user-friendly curve.
• 90° cylinder offset produces perfect primary balance to minimise vibration for rider comfort.
4-Valve Cylinder Head
• Intake ports designed to provide a straight fuel path from the carburetors for improved efciency and more power.
• 4-valves provide maximum valve area for optimum ow.
• Boosts low-end torque.
Liquid Cooling
• Large-capacity radiator provides consistent cooling, allowing closer engine tolerances, quieter running, ultimate durability.
• Large 282 mm diameter thermostatically-controlled fan keeps engine cool even at very low vehicle speeds.
Snorkel Air Intake
• Airbox design provides easy access to simplify maintenance.

Kawasaki Automatic Power-Drive System

• High-grade, durable CVT belt is designed to handle the high power output of the engine.
• Shifting timed in higher rpm range for snappy throttle response and hard acceleration.
• The drive converter shaft is hard chrome nished for durability.
• Belt Check indicator lamp is easy to see.
• Unnecessary belt wear is minimized with a system that reduces engine speed if the engine operates at high rpm for more than two seconds while the rear wheels remain motionless.
