Before First Use
Remove all stickers and protective covers from the garment steamer and unwind the power cord.
When operating the garment steamer for the first time, allow it to heat up for 3-5 minutes and then hold down the steam trigger for 30 seconds. This will remove any impurities and odours that might remain on the product from the manufacturing process or left over moisture from previous use.
When using the garment steamer for the first time, test on an old piece of fabric to ensure that the water tank and steam plate are completely clean.

Filling the Water Tank
The Kambrook SwiftSteam Garment Steamer should never be operated without water in the water tank and the water tank fitted correctly to the steamer body. When filled to the ‘MAX’ level, the water tank holds 250ml of water.
The garment steamer is designed to be used with tap water. The hardness of tap water can vary in different regions; water testing kits can be purchased online or at water filtration specialists to determine the hardness of your tap water.
If your tap water is particularly hard, it is recommended that distilled or demineralised water be used with this
garment steamer. Not doing so can result in a build-up of impurities in the steamer resulting in a loss of steaming performance.
The water tank on Kambrook SwiftSteam Garment Steamer is fully detachable. To remove the water tank, press and hold the water tank release buttons on either side of the water tank. Holding the water tank with one hand and the garment steamer body with the other, gently pull the water tank away from the body (See Fig. 1).
