IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic
precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
• Keep combustible materials such as
curtains/drapes and other furnishing
away from heater.
• The heater must NOT be located
immediately below a socket outlet.
• Extreme caution is necessary when this
heater is used by or near children or
invalids.
• Young children should be supervised to
ensure they do not play with the heater.
• Important – this heater is intended
for floor use only. Do not mount on
ceiling or walls.
• Do not leave heater unattended.Always
switch off the heater at the controls
and at the power outlet then unplug
heater from the power outlet when
not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a
damaged cord or plug, or if heater has
been dropped or damaged in any
manner. Return heater to your nearest
service centre for examination, electrical
or mechanical adjustment or repair.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not intended for use in
wet or moist locations such as bathrooms
or laundry areas. DO NOT IMMERSE
or allow liquids to be spilt on heater.
• Place unit well clear of heat sensitive
surfaces and where necessary place on
a suitable stable inflammable surface

• To prevent a possible fire, allow ample
space around the heater (at least 1.7m
at front and 0.5m at the rear, top and
sides) and do not block air inlets or
outlets in any manner. Check the
elements and grill from time to time
for accumulated dust.
• To disconnect heater switch the control
setting to the OFF position, then switch
off at the power outlet prior to
removing the plug from its outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects
to pass through the element guard as
this may cause an electric shock, fire or
damage the heater.
• Do not touch hot metal surfaces.
• Do not allow power cord to contact
hot metal surfaces.
• Set the control setting to the OFF
position then Unplug and allow heater
to cool down before cleaning or storing.
• The heater will not operate unless it is
placed on a flat level surface as it is fitted
with a tilt switch.
• Do not use the heater with a
programmer, timer or any other device
that switches the heater on automatically,
since a fire risk exists if the heater is
covered or positioned incorrectly.
• Use this heater only as described in
this instruction manual.Any other use
not recommended by the manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock or injury
and voids all warranties.
• Always move the heater with the
handle provided.
• Do not operate the heater with the
cord hanked or wound around any part
of the heater or in contact with heated
sufaces of the heater.

HOW TO OPERATE
1. Remove your heater from the
packaging, unwind the cord to its full
length.
2. Read all the instructions fully before
plugging the unit in.
3. Place the heater on a level surface in a
stable position. Make certain the heater
element control switch is in the OFF
position.
4. Remove any element support Guards
(ie Foam or paper packing).
5. Plug the power cord in a 240Volt outlet,
and switch the power outlet on.
6.The heater control panel is located at
the right hand side of the unit,
underneath the plastic flap (for safety).
7.To operate the control dial, lift the
plastic flap. Use the control dial to
switch the heater to the desired setting.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
1. Model Numbers KRH150 &
KRH200
KRH150 & KRH200 have 2 temperature
settings.
Setting 1 – Turn the control dial to the
low setting to heat the lower element
only.
Setting 2 – Turn the control dial to the
high setting to heat both elements.
2. Model Number KRH240
KRH240 has 3 temperature settings
Setting 1 – Turn the control dial to the
low setting to heat the lower element

Setting 2 – Turn the control dial to the
medium setting to heat the bottom and
dle elements.

Setting 3 – Turn the control dial to the
high setting.This will operate all elements.
Note:There is a tip over switch on the base. When
the heater tips over, it will turn off automatically.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
•Always turn off and switch off at
power outlet then unplug the heater
before cleaning.
•Use only a clean, dry cloth to clean
the external surface of the heater only.
•Do not attempt to remove the front
grill of the heater.
•Use a vacuum cleaner regularly to
remove dust and fluff from the
element and grill.
•If the unit has accumulated dust
ar
ound the elements and grill that
cannot be removed with the use of a
vacuum cleaner, have a qualified service
agent clean the unit. DO NOT operate
the heater in this condition.
•Do not attempt to open the case of
the heater at anytime, there are no
customer serviceable parts inside.
•When not in use, pack the heater in
its original box for best protection and
store in a cool, clean and dry location.
•Return the unit to Kambrook or a
Authorised repair agent of Kambrook
for repair or service.

WARRANTY
KAMBROOK warrants the purchaser
against defects in workmanship and
material, for a period of 12 months from
the date of purchase (3 months
commercial use).
Guarantee and purchase receipt for this
product are to be retained as proof of
purchase and must be presented if making
a claim under the terms of the
KAMBROOK guarantee.
KAMBROOK reserves the right to
replace or repair the appliance within
the warranty period.
Warranty does not apply to any defect,
deterioration, loss or injury or damage
occasioned by, or as a result of the misuse
or abuse, negligent handling or if the product
has not been used in accordance with the
instructions.The guarantee excludes
breakages and consumable.
This warranty is void if there is evidence
of the product being tampered with by
unauthorised persons.
If the product includes one or a number
of accessories only the defective accessory
or product will be replaced.
In Australia, this KAMBROOK Guarantee
is additional to the conditions and
guarantees which are mandatory as
implied by the Trade Practices Act 1974
and State Territory legislation.
