Portable Vacuum Cleaner
Before First Use
Remove any promotional material
from the Portable Vacuum Cleaner.
When unpacking the vacuum, check
to see you have received the charger,
charging base and brush tool before
discarding the packaging.
WARNING: Before
first use, charge your
portable vacuum
cleaner for at least 24
hours. Make sure that the
on/off switch is turned to
the ‘OFF’ position before
charging, otherwise
the portable vacuum
cleaner will not charge.
NOTE: The red charging light
and green ready light will
illuminate when the portable
vacuum is turned off but is
charging.
Follow these steps when mounting
the base:
1. Pick a convenient position within
1m of an electrical outlet. If the
charging base will be mounted
closer to an outlet, wrap any
excess cord on the side of the
charging base.
2. Place the charging base against
the wall in the desired location
and mark the centre of one of
the holes.
3. Drill a 5mm diameter hole
through the centre of the hole.
Push a plastic wall anchor into
the drilled hole.
4. Insert one of the included screws
and turn it until the screw head is
3mm above the wall surface.
5. Re-check the hole alignment,
then drill the second hole and
install the other plastic wall anchor
and screw as in steps 3-4.
6. Slide the charging base into place
(See Fig. 2).
To Wall Mount the Portable
Vacuum Cleaner
Charging Base
The charging base can be mounted
vertically or placed on a horizontal
surface such as a counter or shelf
(See Fig. 1).
NOTE: The charging base
should be mounted on the wall
so that the pick up canister is
pointed up when the Portable
Vacuum Cleaner is placed in
the charging base.

Battery Charging Procedure
1. Plug the charger into a 230V or
240V power point.
2. Ensure the Portable Vacuum
Cleaner is switched off
before charging.
3. Align the charging cord plug into
the charging base. Firmly press
down until the charging plug is
locked in the charging base
(See Fig. 3).
Fig. 3
4. Slide the Portable Vacuum
Cleaner downward onto the
charging base making sure that
it firmly hooks onto the charging
base and the charger is firmly
inserted into the Portable Vacuum
Cleaner (See Fig. 4). The red
charge light will then illuminate.
The charge light will turn green
when the battery is fully charged.
NOTE: The Portable Vacuum
Cleaner can also be charged
when it is not attached to the
charging base. Firmly insert
the charger into the Portable
Vacuum Cleaner.
5. To maintain a charge, keep
the charger plugged into a
standard wall outlet. When
charging, the charger may be
warm to touch – this is normal. It
is impossible to overcharge the
battery because the vacuum
cleaner is designed with
overcharge protection circuitry.
WARNING: Always
recharge this appliance
after use to extend the
life of the battery.

Cleaning Tools
The Portable Vacuum Cleaner
includes a built-in crevice tool that
will make cleaning tasks easier.
Simply pull back the knob located on
top of the canister and extend the
crevice tool (See Fig. 5).

Picking Up Dry Debris
Use your vacuum cleaner for picking
up dirt, dust, food crumbs, etc.
from counters, bare floors, rugs, car
interiors, upholstered furniture, etc.
After dry pickups, empty and clean
the canister, filter and filter cover
before picking up liquid or wet spills.
Fig. 5
The crevice tool is ideal for tight
places such as between car seats, in
corners, skirting boards etc.
A brush tool attachment is also
included. Simply attach to the end of
the crevice tool (See Fig. 6).
Fig. 6
Operating the Portable
Vacuum Cleaner
Remove the vacuum cleaner from
the charging base and slide the On/
Off switch to the ‘ON’ position to
commence cleaning tasks.
Slide the On/Off switch to the ‘OFF’
position between cleaning tasks to
conserve power.
Picking Up Liquids Or Wet Debris
1. For liquid pickups, do not fill the
canister beyond the end of the
inlet tube. If there is any liquid
in the canister, hold the canister
nozzle down to avoid leakage.
Tipping the canister nozzle up
may cause the liquid to enter the
fan area.
2. After picking up perishable spills
(eg. milk, juice, etc.), empty the
vacuum cleaner‘s canister, filter
and filter cover immediately
and thoroughly clean to prevent
mould and mildew from forming.
Allow to dry thoroughly.
NOTE: The Portable Vacuum
Canister should be emptied and
cleaned before placed on the
charging base.

Cleaning Tips
The Portable Vacuum Cleaner will be
more effective at cleaning up spills if
the following procedures are followed:
Carpet Clean Ups
1. Immediately vacuum up as much
of the spill as possible.
2. For oily spills, work some low
sudsing carpet shampoo into the
area according to the directions
on the shampoo container (do
not use solvent based cleaners).
Vacuum shampoo and spill
residue, then proceed to step 3.
For water soluble spills, dampen
the spill area using a spray bottle
of cold, clean water. Be careful
not to saturate the carpet.
3. Work water into the nap of
the carpet.
4. Vacuum water and spill residue.
5. Repeat the above procedure
if necessary.
6. Cover the cleaned spill area with
several layers of paper towel or
a cloth towel. Press on the towels
several times to soak up the
moisture. Brush up the nap of the
carpet.
Upholstery Clean Ups
1. Immediately vacuum as much of
the spill as possible.
2. Follow your furniture
manufacturer’s instructions for
spot cleaning upholstery.
