It will become the cause of failure if dust adheres to the inside of a connector, or a flat wire and a point-of-contact part.
When the PW board is exchanged, be careful of the dust and dirt of the inside of a connector, or a flat wire and a point-of-contact part enough
Diagnose the PW board in PDP unit by checking defects based on the following items.
Measure the resistance of each fuse with a circuit tester, and check OK or NG.
According to the following procedures, measure with a circuit tester and check OK or NG.
2.1 The conduction between the pin 30 of the connector [CN4] and GND on the SIGNAL RELAY PWB (upper left)
2.2 The conduction between the pin 30 of the connector [CN5] and GND on the SIGNAL RELAY PWB (lower right)
2.3 The conduction between the pins of CN3 on the scan IC [A]
2.4 The conductio n betwee n the pins of CN3 on the scan IC [D]

According to the following procedures, measure with a circuit tester and check OK or NG.
According to the following procedures, measure with a circuit tester and check OK or NG.
According to the following procedures, measure with a circuit tester and check OK or NG.
Notes : Check the state of the detached cables and connectors.
Each PDP panel has the characteristic voltage value. In the adjustment after fix or exchange of a PW board, this voltage value is used as reference. You can get it from the vendor's web site on the Internet

NOTE : (1) In case of version with (F) as shown below, exchanging both SCAN
PWB and COMMON PWB at once is required. Version is indicated by the seal stuck on each PW board.
SCAN PWB : Ver.02G(F), 02J(F), 03B(F), 03D(F) COMMON PWB : Ver.02H(F), 02K(F), 03B(F), 03D(F)
It will become the cause of failure if dust adheres to the inside of a connector, or a flat wire and a point-of-contact part.
When the PW board is exchanged, be careful of the dust and dirt of the inside of a connector, or a flat wire and a point-of-contact part enough.
The components identified by the ▲ symbol and shading are critical for safety. For continued safety replace safety critical components only with manufactures recommended parts.

This model's power circuit is partly different in the GND. The difference of the GND is shown by the LIVE : (⊥) side GND and the ISOLATED(NEUTRAL) : (↓) side GND. Therefore, care must be taken for the following points.
(1)Do not touch the LIVE side GND or the LIVE side GND and the ISOLATED(NEUTRAL) side GND simultaneously. If the above
caution is not respected, an electric shock may be caused. Therefore, make sure that the power cord is surely removed from the receptacle when, for example, the chassis is pulled out.
(2)Do not short between the LIVE side GND and ISOLATED(NEUTRAL) side GND or never measure with a measuring apparatus ( oscilloscope, etc.) the LIVE side GND and ISOLATED(NEUTRAL) side GND at the same time. If the above precaution is not respected, a fuse or any parts will be broken.
Since the circuit diagram is a standard one, the circuit and circuit constants may be subject to change for improvement without any notice.
