Safety Warnings
• Read all the instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the unit onto a third party make sure to include this manual.

Damage
• Please inspect the unit for damage after unpacking.
• Do not continue to operate the unit if you are in any doubt about it working normally, or if it is damaged in any way - switch o, withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.
Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable surface and should not be subjected to vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or unstable surfaces as the unit may fall o or tip over.
• The mains socket must be located near the unit and should- be easily accessible.
• This unit is designed for indoor, domestic use only.
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold. Place the unit well away from heat sources such as radiators or gas / electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked ame on the top of or near the unit.
Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or product damage, do not expose this unit to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. No objects lled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the unit. Do not operate the unit with wet hands, near water or other liquid.
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can cause serious damage. Switch it o at the mains immediately. Withdraw the mains plug and consult your dealer.

Ventilation
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or re hazard due to overheating, ensure that curtains and other materials do not obstruct the ventilation vents.
• A minimum distance of 5 cm around the unit should be maintained to allow for sucient ventilation.
• Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase, built-in cabinet or in another conned space. Ensure the unit is well ventilated.
Safety
• Always disconnect the unit from the mains supply before connecting / disconnecting other devices or moving the unit.
• Unplug the unit from the mains socket during a lightning storm.
• In the interests of safety and to avoid unnecessary energy consumption, never leave the unit switched on while unattended for long periods of time, e.g. overnight, while on holiday or while out of the house. Switch it o and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
Mains Cable
• Make sure the unit or unit stand is not resting on top of the mains cable, as the weight of the unit may damage the mains cable and create a safety hazard.
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
The mains plug is used as disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
Interference
• Do not place the unit on or near appliances which may cause electromagnetic interference. If you do, it may adversely aect the operating performance of the unit, and cause a distorted picture or sound.
Built-in Battery Care
• Your product is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery.
• The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but will eventually wear out.
• Unplug the charger from the electrical plug and the product when not in use.
• Do not leave a fully charged battery connected to a charger, since overcharging may shorten its lifetime.
• If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time.
• Leaving the product in hot or cold places, such as in a closed car in the summer and winter conditions, will reduce the capacity and lifetime of the battery.
• Always try to keep your device in a cool, moisture-free environment that’s less than 32°C. A product with a hot or cold battery may not work temporarily, even when the battery is fully charged. Battery performance is particularly limited in temperatures well below freezing.
• If you plan to store your device for longer than six months, charge the battery for an hour every six months to keep it fresh.
• The unit should be fully recharged after using the device each time. This will keep the health of the battery.

• The battery used in this product may present a risk of re or chemical burn if mistreated.
• Do not attempt to open the product or replace the battery. It is built-in and not changeable. Use of other batteries may present a risk of re or explosion and the warranty will be terminated.
• Only recharge your battery with the provided approved mains cable designated for this product.
• Dispose of batteries according to local regulations. Please recycle when possible. Do not dispose as household waste or in a re as they may explode.
• Batteries may explode if damaged.
Supervision
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the unit.
• Never let anyone especially children push anything into the holes, slots or any other openings in the case - this could result in a fatal electric shock.

Service
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove screws. The unit does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Please leave all maintenance work to qualied personnel.
• Do not open any xed covers as this may expose dangerous voltages.
Maintenance
• Ensure to unplug the unit from the mains socket before cleaning.
• Do not use any type of abrasive pad or abrasive cleaning solutions as these may damage the unit’s surface.
• Do not use liquids to clean the unit.

Connections
Stereo Chain Connections
To create a stereo chain connection, you need to have two megatower hi- systems.
True Wireless (TWS) Connection
1. Switch both hi- systems in BT (Bluetooth) mode.
2. Press the STEREO CHAIN button on both the speakers at the same time. Both units will display PARTY SELECT.
3. Press will prompt a beep tone to indicate that both units are now connected.
4. Enable your Bluetooth device and make sure it is in searching mode.
5. Select “MX-D719PB” and enter “0000” for the password if necessary.
6. The master speaker will act as the left channel during TWS and will receive the Bluetooth signal, the other speaker will act as the right channel to play music.
Press and hold the STEREO CHAIN button to disconnect the TWS connection.
Connecting a Mobile Device
Connect the LINE IN (AUX IN) socket of the main unit to the headphone jack on a mobile device (not included) with a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo audio cable illustrated below.

Mobile Devices
Connecting a Microphone
Connect your microphone (not included) into the MIC IN socket.
Turn the MIC –VOLUME+ dial to adjust the volume of the microphone.

Charging the Unit
• Ensure all audio connections of the unit are connected before connecting to the mains power socket.
• Make sure the mains plug is rmly inserted into the mains socket.
• Do not overcharge the battery as it may shorten its life. Disconnect the mains cable after the unit is fully charged.
• The unit should be fully recharged after using the device each time. This will keep the health of the battery.
• If you plan to store your device for longer than 6 months, charge the battery for an hour every 6 months to keep it fresh.
• Charging time varies depending on conditions of use of the battery and the output voltage of your charging device.
• The unit will get warm during charging. This is not a malfunction.
• The unit has a built-in rechargeable battery, which should be charged before using the speaker for the rst time.
• The battery is charged automatically whenever the unit is connected to a mains supply.
• Charge the unit for 4 hours before rst time use.
• Connecting the unit to any other power source may damage the unit. Unwind the mains cable to its full length. Connect the end of the cable to the AC IN~ socket at the rear of the unit and then connect the mains plug to the mains socket. The unit is now connected and ready to use.
Battery Life
The unit has has approximately 8 hours of playback time in fully charge status and in medium sound level. Time stated above may vary, depending on ambient temperature or conditions of use.

• While the unit is connected to the mains supply, the display will show AC.
• While the unit is disconnected with its mains cable, the display will show BATTERY.
• In STANDBY mode, the display will show CHG while charging, and go blank after the unit is fully charged.
• After the unit is connected to the mains supply, the display will show CHG for about 10 seconds and then go blank if the unit is already fully charged.
Basic Operating
Switching ON / OFF
• Press button to switch the unit on. The display will show “ON”. Then, the system will switch to the last selected source.
• Press and hold LOW” / “BATT HALF” / “BATT HIGH” / “BATT FULL”).
• Press
button to switch the unit back to standby mode. The display will show
STANDBY” and then go blank.
While the battery level is low, the display will show BAT T LO W every 30 seconds.
Standby Power Mode
The unit features an Standby Power mode. It automatically turns o if the unit is idle or the external unit is disconnected, switched o or the volume is too close to mute for about 15 minutes.
Selecting Modes
Turn the SOURCE button to switch between TUNER (FM), LINE IN, USB and BT (Bluetooth®) modes. The selected mode will show on the display.

Adjusting the Volume
To increase or decrease the volume, turn the MASTER –VOLUME+ dial.
Preset Equalizer
During playback, press the EQ button repeatedly to select: ROCK /JAZZ / SAMBA / POP / FLAT / FUNK.

Press BOOSTER button to switch on/o the booster eect. The volume level will be boosted immediately.

The EQ cannot work under BOOSTER mode. The display will show “EQ INVALID“ if you press EQ button.
Adjust the LED light
Press the LIGHT button repeatedly to select the LED eect between LED1, LED2, LED3, LED4, LED5, LED6 and OFF.

FM Radio Operation
• The search may not stop at a station with a very weak signal.
• If reception is poor, move the unit to a stronger signal location.
Press SOURCE button repeatedly to select the tuner source. The display will show “TUNER”.
Tuning in a Station
Auto Tuning
1. Press and hold auto tuning. Press button again to stop the auto tuning.
2. The searched radio stations will be stored as preset station.
The search may not stop at a station with a very weak signal.
Recalling a preset station
1. Press button and the display will show P-XX (from P-01 to P-30).
2. Press
TUNE– / TUNE+ button to select your desired preset station.
Manual Tuning
Press and hold or button to start the forward or reverse scanning. The display will show the frequency being searched. Once a station has been found, the scanning will stop automatically.

With FM radio it may be necessary to ne tune each station by pressing or button repeatedly. Each press will adjust the frequency by 0.05MHz. If reception is still poor, try moving the unit to another location.
Using the USB
By connecting a USB mass storage device (including USB ash memory or USB ash players) to this unit, you can enjoy the device’s stored music through the unit.
1. Press SOURCE button repeatedly to select the USB source. The display will show “USB”, and then “LOAD“.
• If there is no USB device connected,
the display will show “NO USB”.
• If there is no MP3 le in the USB
device, the display will show “NO MUSIC“.

1. While in ON mode, press the SOURCE button to select the LINE IN mode. The words “LINE” will be shown on the display.
2. Operate your audio device directly for playback features.
3. Turn the MASTER –VOLUME+ dial to adjust the volume to your desired level.
The and buttons are invalid in LINE IN mode.

Bluetooth® Operation
Pairing the unit with a Bluetooth® device to listen to music:
1. Press the SOURCE button to select the Bluetooth® mode. The display will show “BT“, and then “BT PAIRING”.
2. Activate your Bluetooth® device and select the search mode. “MX-D719PB” will appear on your Bluetooth® device list.
3. Select “MX-D719PB” and enter “0000” for the password if necessary. After the connection, the display will show “BT” and the unit will make a beep sound.
4. To disconnect the Bluetooth® function,
• Switch to another function on the unit or disable the function from your Bluetooth®
device. The unit will make a beep sound.

The unit will make a beep sound twice and then the display will show “BT PAIRING“.

Cleaning the Unit
Ensure the unit is fully unplugged from the mains socket before cleaning.
• To clean the units, wipe the case with a slightly moist, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning uids containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.

If any functional abnormality is encountered, unplug the unit from the mains socket and reconnect it again.
• Ensure the Bluetooth® function is activated on your Bluetooth® device.
• Ensure you have paired your unit with the Bluetooth® device.
• The unit has a Bluetooth® function that can receive a signal within 10 metres. Keep a distance within10 metres between the unit and your Bluetooth® device.
