The JY-HD10 is capable of 720/30p
HD recording on MiniDV tape.
To accommodate a variety of shooting
and playback requirements, it also
offers SD recording in MPEG-2 format
as well as NTSC recording in DV
format.

This newly
developed
1/3” HD CCD
with
1,180,000
pixels offers
an improved
dynamic range as well as high sensitivity
and a high S/N ratio. By combining this
progressive scan HD CCD with our original
hybrid complementary-primary digital filter
and processing circuitry, color accuracy
and horizontal resolution are improved.
And our exclusive driving system (patent
pending) attained multi-format recording
capability.

The camera incorporates an optical image
stabilization lens shift system to allow HD
recording even at high zoom ratios.
Combined with our newly developed lens
servo circuit and camera-shake detection
algorithm, it provides effective full-time
stabilization for superior results when
shooting still
images as well as
video.

Developed for HD recording, this all glass
multi-element lens offers improved
peripheral resolution, brightness, and low
distortion. The 10x zoom lens offers full
range zooming with almost no variance in
brightness. And by use of multi-coated
lenses and a large lens hood, it enables
capture of virtually ghost-free HD images.

This professional NLE (Non-Linear Editing)
application is customized for the JY-HD10.
It allows HD and SD MPEG-2 files captured from
the JY-HD10 to be edited with frame accuracy.
And with audio dubbing, title transitions, and
sound monitoring while editing, it’s possible to
created polished videos on a PC. Converted
standard definition program stream MPEG-2 files
can be recorded on regular DVD.

HD Capture Utility

Basic tool for capturing HD and SD footage
from the JY-HD10 to a computer. After
editing, this utility can export the video to a
connected unit. (Real-time monitoring of
video being captured is not possible.)

Audio Converter 1.0

Lets you import common audio files such
as MP3, WAV, and WMA with full sound
mixing and editing support, for use in your
movie soundtrack in the MPEG-1 Audio
Layer 2 format used by MPEG Edit
Studio™ Pro LE.

ImageMixer DVD

With a variety of ready-made frames and
graphics, this application makes it easy to
author standard DVD Video discs viewable
on almost any DVD player from the videos
created using MPEG Edit Studio™ Pro LE.
(DVD authoring requires DVD burner
supported by PIXELA in addition to
compatible PC.)

This built-in function is an essential
guide to precision color matching and
adjustment.

The audio input level can be confirmed
at a glance, for precision monitoring.

●The camera’s E-E through image when outputting through the Component Output in HD mode
will be 480/60p only.

●The frame/field rate for 720/60p and 1080i analog output during HD playback will be 60.00 fps.

●By connecting via i.LINK to a D-VHS video deck with built-in MPEG-2 HD decoder, output of

1080/60i, 720/60p are possible, and the frame rate is converted to 59.94 fps.

●When outputting 480/60p, the frame/field rate will always be 59.94 fps regardless of the
recording mode or output terminal.
