When the equipment is installed in a cabinet or on a shelf, make sure that it has sufficient space on all sides to allow for ventilation (10 cm (3-15/16") or
more on both sides on top and at the rear). Do not block the ventilation holes.
(If the ventilation holes are blocked by a newspaper, or cloth etc. the heat may not be able to get out.) No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus. When discarding batteries, environmental problems must be considered and the local rules or laws governing the disposal of these batteries must
be followed strictly The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. Do not use this equipment in a bathroom or places

Inserting an SD Card
Insert a commercially available SD card before recording.
I 1 Close the LOD monitor. ! 20penthecover.

inserting or removing a card.
* When the LCD monitor is closed, the unit turns off.

Push the card inward once, then pull it out straight.

Format (initialize) the card using
"FORMAT SD CARD" from media settings.
All data on the card will be deleted when it is formatted, Copy all files
on the card to a computer before formatting,

press OK.

Clock Setting
To select/movecursortowardsup/leftordown/ right,pressthe buttonUP/<or DOWN/>.
B Open the LCD monitor.
The unit turns on. When the LCD monitor is closed, the unit turns off.
_t elect "YES" and press OK when"SET DATE/TIMEF is displayed.
_l"set the date and time.
Press UP/< or DOWN/> to adjust the setting value and press OK to confirm
it. The cursor moves to the next item.
Repeat this step to input the year,
month, day, hour, and minute.
Press UP/< or DOWN/> to select the
r_ region where you live and press OK.
The city name and time difference are displayed.
To return to the previous screen PressMENU.

Set the clock with "CLOCK ADJUST" from the menu.

Video Recording
You can record without worrying about the setting details by using the Intelligent Auto mode. Settings such as exposure and focus will be adjusted automatically to suit the shooting
conditions.
* In case of specific shooting scenes such as backlight (_), night view (_), person (_o) etc., its
iconis displayed on the screen.
Before recording an important scene, it is recommended to conduct a trial recording.

You can dub videos in standard quality by connecting to a DVD recorder or VCR.
Refer also to the instruction manuals of the TV, DVD recorder, VCR, etc.
