Proper use
The WiFi Connect may only be used with specified JURA coffee machines. It provides wireless
communication between the coffee machine and various accessories (for compatible devices
see jura.com). Use for any other purpose will be deemed improper. JURA cannot accept any
responsibility for the consequences of improper use.

1 LED: Indicates the status of the WiFi Connect

machine
Installation
The WiFi Connect must be inserted into the coffee machine's service socket. This is usually on
the top or back of the machine, beneath a removable cover. If you don't know where the service
socket of your coffee machine is, ask your dealer or visit jura.com.
T Plug the WiFi Connect into the coffee machine's service socket.
In order for your machines to communicate wirelessly, connect them to a network.
T Configure the network via J.O.E.® – your JURA app. To do this, enter the network name (SSID)
and the password.
LED indicators
Z LED does not light up: The coffee machine is switched off; the WiFi Connect is not being
supplied with power.
Z LED lights up: The wireless connection between the WiFi Connect and the accessory has
been established.
Z LED flashes (1× / second): The network has not been configured.
Z LED flashes (2× / second): Attempting to establish a wireless connection.
Z The LED lights up on an alternating basis for 5 sec. and pauses for 1 sec.: WiFi Connect can-
not establish a connection.

Connecting to other devices
WiFI Connect can be used for various accessories with wireless capabilities (e.g. Cool Control)
and J.O.E.®.
T Switch on the accessory and the coffee machine.
If a device is switched off and then on again, the wireless connection is re-established automatically.
E Your WiFi Connect must also be activated in your automatic coffee machine. You can do this
in the machine settings. Find out more at jura.com/wifi.
E If several machines with Cool Control are connected to the wireless network, the machine
with the strongest signal is addressed.
Resetting WiFi Connect (and/or security PIN) to factory setting
If you experience any general problems with the WiFi Connect (e.g. a connection problem),
it can be reset to the factory setting.
T Connect WiFi Connect to your Cool Control.
T Press and hold the off button for 3 seconds.
E WiFi Connect will also be reset if you reset your automatic coffee machine to the factory
settings while WiFi Connect is connected.
E WiFi Connect will also be reset if you disconnect the connection to WiFi Connect in the
machine settings for your automatic coffee machine.

Die JURA Vertrieb (Schweiz) AG, 4626 Niederbuchsiten gewährt für dieses Gerät, das für den
Gebrauch im Haushalt konzipiert und konstruiert wurde, dem Endabnehmer zusätzlich zu
seinen Rechten gegenüber dem Verkäufer auf Gewährleistung zu folgenden Bedingungen eine
Herstellergarantie von
25 Monaten ab Erstkaufdatum
1 Für Produkte, die der selektiven Vertriebsbindung unterliegen, wird die Herstellergarantie
nur gewährt, sofern das JURA-Gerät bei einem von JURA autorisierten Fachhändler erworben
wurde.
2 Mängel werden innerhalb der Garantiezeit durch JURA beseitigt. Dabei erfolgt die Garantie-
leistung nach Wahl von JURA durch Instandsetzung (Reparatur), Austausch mangelhafter
Teile oder Austausch des Gerätes. Die Ausführung von Garantieleistungen bewirkt weder
eine Verlängerung noch einen Neubeginn der Garantiezeit. Ausgewechselte Teile gehen in
das Eigentum von JURA über.
3 Eine Garantieleistung entfällt für Schäden oder Mängel, die aus nicht vorschriftsmäßigem
Anschluss, unsachgemäßer Handhabung oder Transport, Reparatur oder Umbauten durch
nicht autorisierte Personen sowie durch Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung ents-
tanden sind. Werden insbesondere Betriebs- oder Wartungsanweisungen von JURA nicht
befolgt oder werden andere Pflegeprodukte als JURA-Wasserfilter, JURA-Reinigungs- oder
Entkalkungstabletten verwendet, die nicht den Originalspezifikationen entsprechen, so
entfällt ebenfalls jede Garantie. Verschleißteile (zum Beispiel Dichtungen, Mahlscheiben,
Ventile) sind von der Garantie ebenso ausgenommen, wie Schäden, die durch Fremdkörper
im Mahlwerk (zum Beispiel Steine, Holz, Büroklammern) entstanden sind.
4 Als Nachweis für den Garantieanspruch gilt die Kaufquittung mit Angabe von Kaufdatum
und Gerätetyp. Um die Abwicklung zu vereinfachen, sollte die Kaufquittung zusätzlich – falls
möglich – folgende Angaben enthalten: Name und Adresse des Käufers sowie die Serien-
nummer des Gerätes.

5 Ist der Endabnehmer ein Unternehmen, eine juristische Person oder erfolgt der Einsatz des
Gerätes nicht im häuslichen Bereich, beträgt die Herstellergarantie 12 Monate.
6 Die Garantieleistungen werden in der Schweiz geleistet. Für Geräte, welche in der Schweiz
erworben und in ein anderes europäisches Land gebracht wurden, werden Leistungen im
Rahmen der jeweils für dieses europäische Land gültigen JURA-Garantiebestimmungen
erbracht.
7 Diese Garantie deckt Transportkosten und alle Transportrisiken in direktem oder indirektem
Zusammenhang mit der Garantie für das Produkt nicht ab. Innerhalb der Garantiezeit werden
die Transportkosten in der Schweiz zwischen Kunde und JURA Vertrieb (Schweiz) AG je zur
Hälfte aufgeteilt.
8 Die Garantieleistungen werden in der Schweiz nach vorheriger Absprache mit der Service-
Hotline unter der Rufnummer 062 389 82 33 (zum Ortstarif) per Zusendung an oder durch
Übergabe an

La société JURA Vertrieb (Schweiz) AG, 4626 Niederbuchsiten accorde au client final sur cette
machine conçue et construite pour un usage domestique, en plus de ses droits à garantie
envers le vendeur, une garantie constructeur de
25 mois à compter de la date initiale d’achat
1 Pour les produits soumis à une distribution sélective, la garantie constructeur ne sera accor-
dée que si la machine JURA est acquise auprès de l’un des revendeurs agréés JURA.
2 Les vices seront éliminés par JURA pendant la période de garantie, la prestation de
garantie s’effectuant, au choix de JURA, par remise en état (réparation), échange des pièces
défectueuses ou échange de la machine. L’exécution des prestations de garantie ne donne
pas lieu à prolongation ou renouvellement de la durée de garantie. Les pièces remplacées
deviennent la propriété de JURA.
3 Les prestations de garantie sont exclues en cas de dommages ou défauts qui résultent d’un
raccordement non réglementaire, d’une manipulation non conforme ou d’un transport,
d’une réparation ou d’une transformation réalisées par des personnes non autorisées ainsi
que du non-respect des instructions d’utilisation. En particulier, la garantie ne s’applique
pas si les instructions de service et de maintenance de JURA ne sont pas observées ou si
des produits d’entretien autres que les filtres à eau JURA, les pastilles de nettoyage et les
tablettes de détartrage JURA sont employés, qui ne correspondent pas aux spécifications
d’origine. Les pièces d’usure (comme les joints, les disques de broyage, les clapets) sont
également exclues de la garantie de même que les dommages résultant de la présence de
corps étrangers dans le broyeur (pierres, bois, trombones par exemple).
4 La facture d’achat avec indication de la date d’achat et du type de machine est la preuve du
droit à garantie. Pour simplifier la procédure, la facture d’achat devrait comporter, si possible,
en supplément, les indications suivantes : nom et adresse de l’acheteur ainsi que le numéro
de série de la machine.

5 La garantie constructeur est de 12 mois si le client final est une société, une personne morale
ou si la machine n’est pas utilisée dans un contexte domestique.
6 Les prestations de garantie seront exécutées en Suisse. Pour les machines ayant été acquises
en Suisse puis emmenées dans un autre pays européen, les prestations seront exécutées
dans le cadre des conditions de garantie de JURA en vigueur dans ce pays européen.
7 Cette garantie ne couvre pas les frais de transport ni les risques de transport en lien direct ou
indirect avec la garantie du produit. Pendant la durée de la garantie, les frais de transport en
Suisse sont divisés à parts égales entre le client et JURA Vertrieb (Schweiz) AG.
8 En Suisse, les prestations de garantie seront exécutées, après concertation préalable avec la
hotline du service après-vente (tél. 062 389 82 33, tarif local), par envoi ou remise à
