SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1. The JG11 must be grounded. Defeating the unit’s grounding capability could

FRONT PANEL

Lighted Power On/Off Switch – This switch controls power to all 8 outlets on the back
of the chassis.

AC Outlet – This outlet is always on when the power cord is attached to an active power
source.

REAR PANEL

AC Outlets – These 10 outlets (NEMA 5-15R) are rated for current loads up to 15 amps
per outlet at 120 volts. Although the JG11.0-20A is rated for a total current load of 20
amps, each outlet’s rating is limited to 15 amps. The JG11.0-15A is rated for a total cur­rent load of 15 amps with each outlet’s rating limited to 15 amps.

Power Cord – The power cord has a third pin safety ground connector. Do not defeat this
feature. Doing so could subject user to a hazardous condition.

POWER CORD
The JG11.0-20A is equipped with a 12 gauge power cord that measures slightly less than
15 feet in length. This cord has a NEMA5-20P plug that requires a 20 amp receptacle to
be connected to a power source. It can not be connected to a 15 amp receptacle.
The JG11.0-15A is equipped with a 12 gauge power cord that measures slightly less than
15 feet in length. This cord has a NEMA5-15P plug and can be connected to a 15 amp
receptacle.

INTERNAL PROTECTION COMPONENTS
The JG11 Series products have a Basic Level of AC power protection consisting of fast
acting metal oxide varistors between hot, neutral and ground and a line capacitor between
hot and neutral to reduce high frequency line noise and AC line surges.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
The JG11 is well designed and constructed. Every JG11 is submitted to a full functional test
before being shipped by Juice Goose. It requires neither maintenance nor adjustment. It is
unlikely to malfunction. However, there are potential events to note:

The JG11 will not come on or turns itself off.
a. Check the status of the power supplied to the unit. Use a voltage meter and/or polarity

tester to examine the status of incoming power.
b. Check that the circuit breaker is not tripped and that the current load on the unit does not
exceed its rated 20 amp capacity. If the breaker is tripped, remove sufficient current load to
reduce the total to no more than 20 amps, wait approximately 30 seconds after the tripping.
Turn the power switch/circuit breaker back on.

NOTE: If necessary, in order to turn off the JG11, the power cord to the JG11 can be un­plugged from the wall or other power source.

If an observed problem can not be remedied, particularly if the problem seems severe or
dangerous, discontinue use of the JG11 and contact Juice Goose directly.

REPAIR
Should your product need service contact Juice Goose for assistance and authorization to
return the unit. PLEASE NOTE: a return authorization number is required in order for the
service personnel to correctly and promptly identify, repair and return your unit.

OTHER HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTS FROM

JG SERIES – Rack mountable power distribution in a 19” configuration. Six models to

choose from. Feature options include rack lighting and voltage meter. The JG11-20A has a
20 amp capacity, 2 unswitched outlets and a 15 foot power cord. All units contain a basic
level of power conditioning.

PD1A, PD1B and PD3 offer various options regarding size, number and arrangement of

required. Very flexible, economical and easy to install. Models include rack mount, four
circuit and 30 amp designs. Optional remote controls include key or rotary switch and
secure 12 position keypad.

RX SERIES – High voltage surge protection and high frequency line filtration, perform-

ance near that of an isolation transformer, but at a fraction of the cost and size. Great nor­mal mode and common mode line noise elimination. Individual products include the,
RX15-DPC, RX10-SCS and RP100-RX.

UPS MODELS – When protection against power outage is needed, Juice Goose is a
