INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Congratulations on your purchase of Handy Heater™ ­the wall outlet space heater! This cordless ceramic space heater provides quick and easy heat almost anywhere in your home. Just plug it in, and enjoy the extra warmth. The two-speed fan ensures you are always comfortable! The easy to read digital display also includes the built-in temperature control buttons.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

CAUTION - some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
WARNING: Do not use cord extension sets, multiple socket outlets or adaptors to avoid a risk of danger. Plug it only into a wall socket outlet.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
WARNING: For indoor use only. Do not use in an
environment where water is present.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using this heater.
1. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the heater.
2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch the hot surface. Use extreme caution when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 1m from the heater.
3. Ensure heater is plugged into a socket in a vertical wall when use, keep at least 20cm of unobstructed space to the bottom air inlet of the heater to allow for ventilation to avoid a risk of danger.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Always unplug heater when not in use.
6. The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
7. Do not operate the heater if the plug is damaged or after the heater malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to JML if damaged and a replacement is required.
8. Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool. Do not use the heater in the bathroom or anywhere that it may be subjected to splashing water.
9. Do not cover heater with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.
10. Never leave the heater on while sleeping.
11. To disconnect heater, switch off, then remove from plug outlet using extreme caution not to burn oneself.
12. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
13. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
14. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
15. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
16. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate or clean.
17. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. CAUTION - some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
18. Do not use outdoors.

the product is not functioning or requires maintenance, contact customer services to seek advice. To clean, unplug your Handy Heater
TM
and allow to cool completely. To clean, wipe the exterior with a non-abrasive, damp cloth. Use mild soap if necessary. Do NOT spray chemical cleaners onto or into the unit.
CAUTION: DO NOT LET LIQUID ENTER THE HEATER
Do not use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage to the casing of the heater. Do not immerse Handy Heater
TM
in water. Wait until the unit is completely dry before use. Store unit in a cool dry place when not in use.

1. Plug Handy Heater™ into desired power outlet.
2. Press “On/ Off Switch” on side of the unit to “On” position to turn on the heater.
3. Use the “+” button to raise temperature or “-” button to lower the temperature on Digital Display.
4. Select your desired fan speed. Press “Fan Speed Button” to choose between High (HH) or Low (LL) on “Digital Display”.
5. When finished, press “On/ Off Switch” to “Off” position and unplug Handy Heater™ from power outlet. Store in a cool, dry place until next use.
Handy Heater™ has a built-in timer that will automatically turn the unit off after a set amount of time.
1. While Handy Heater™ is plugged in and turned on, press the “Timer Button” to activate timer, as shown.
2. Repeatedly press “Timer Button” to set number of hours before Handy Heater™ turns off. You can choose between 1 - 12 hours.
3. Once desired hours have been chosen, stop pressing “Timer Button” to set.
4. To cancel timer, turn Handy Heater™ off.
