Under the Table
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw features a large, finely
ground 29” by 42” cast iron table (with extensions) that
provides plenty of work surface for the large jobs,

The operating mechanism is mounted directly to the all-steel
cabinet. This makes aligning the miter slot in the cast iron table
with the blade as easy as loosening four hex head cap screws,
accessible from the outside under the table corners. Bump the
table into alignment and then retighten the screws. There is no
easier or more accurate way of making this crucial adjustment.

realignment much less frequently than most other designs. To

The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw is a left-tilt machine,
meaning the blade tilts away from the fence. When cutting
bevels this allows the scrap to fall freely onto the table and
prevents your work piece from becoming trapped between
the fence and the blade insuring safer, burn-free cuts. This
puts you in full control of the major piece, insuring the
finest possible cut quality.
The throat plate is 15 5/16”-long by 4 1/4”-wide and
provides plenty of access for changing blades and working
with our high-tech modular riving knife and blade guard
assembly. The standard throat plate insert included with the
JET Deluxe XACTA Saw is designed to function with an
1/8” kerf blade at all available angles with the riving knife
in place, enhancing safety and performance.

A sealed drawer reclaims the often-wasted space in the lower portion of the cabinet. This
drawer provides handy, clean storage for frequently used tools and accessories. We also
included storage hooks on the side of the cabinet for the miter gauge and rip fence when
they are not in use.
Power and Control
The 3HP motor (power rated based on continuous duty cycle) is rigidly mounted directly
to the under-table mechanism. Power is delivered to the blade through a pair of precisely
machined pulleys and a super-efficient Poly V-belt. The Poly-V Belt design is known for
smooth power delivery,
resistance to slipping and very
low heat generation because of its
thin cross section and high
surface area contact at the pulleys
as compared to common v-belt
designs.

the industrial magnetic On/Off
switch. This style switch protects
the motor from dangerous power
fluctuations. It also prevents the

The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw wiring terminates at a junction box on the rear of the
cabinet. That makes it easy to install the appropriate cord/plug combination for your
existing shop wiring or to hardwire it to a suitable power source and shut-off switch.
Full Arbor & Easy Blade Changing
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw features a full-length
5/8”-diameter arbor designed to accept most stacked
dado blade sets at up to 13/16”-widths. The arbor is
supported on both sides of its cast iron mount by highquality, sealed ball bearings to insure accurate, smooth,
and trouble-free operation for many years to come.

Modular Guard & Riving Knife
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw comes with a high-tech modular blade guard, antikickback pawl and riving knife assembly that helps keep you safe in a wide range of
situations other designs are not capable of. The versatility of this system lets you work
safer and more efficiently.
The blade guard features independent side panels (leaves)
capable of rising individually or together depending on
the wood passing below them. When making narrow or
trim cuts, one panel can remain flat on the table while the
other rises as the wood passes beneath it. That affords an
extra margin of safety while enhancing dust collection
above the table. Both side panels can be rotated up out of
the way for measurements or aligning a cut line. The
entire blade guard can be flipped up out of the way for
blade changes. When necessary, the blade guard and antikickback assemblies can be quickly removed from the

Internal Dust Collection
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw makes use of the fully enclosed cabinet
with a specially designed shroud that encloses the lower portion of the
blade. A 4”-diameter flex hose connects that shroud to a 4” diameter
exterior dust port on the rear of the cabinet. When teamed with a

Like the riving knife, the dust shroud is mounted to the same cast iron boss as the blade.
That means it “follows” the blade through height and bevel changes to maintain
maximum effectiveness. We also offer as accessories the following riving knives #708682 - thin-kerf riving knife, #708683 - low profile standard kerf riving knife,

JET XACTA-FENCE II Commercial
Our JET XACTA-FENCE II, available in 30” and 50” capacity versions enhances
accuracy, performance and safety. The JET XACTA-FENCE II is based on the highly
regarded T-square design but uses high quality materials and manufacturing processes to
create an exceptionally accurate, durable and easy to use fence system.
The JET XACTA-FENCE II is

powdered metal process. Though

The T-square head has easy-to-use adjusting screws for squaring the faces to the table
surface and the fence face to the miter slots. Both adjustments are important and easy to
make, plus they stay adjusted for a long time! An adjustable, magnified cursor lens in the
T-square head makes reading the factory applied scale tape easy and accurate.
In place of the common laminate-covered wood materials, the JET XACTA-FENCE II
fence faces are made from a pair of ¾”-thick HDPE (high density polyethylene) slabs.
HDPE is very rigid, flat and has exceptional lubricity properties that allows wood to slide
along the faces easily and predictably. The faces can be adjusted vertically to ride just
above the table or flush with the surface, whichever is safest for the job at hand or your
preference. Oversized access holes along the underside of the JET XACTA-FENCE II
make reaching the fasteners that secure the HDPE fence faces easy.
Miter Gauge
The JET Deluxe XACTA Saw comes with a full-featured miter
gauge. Its 17 3/4”-long bar follows the miter slot smoothly and
accurately. A disc at the bars leading end engages the T-shaped
miter slots and prevents the miter gauge from lifting during a
cut.
The miter gauge fence turns to 60-degrees (left or right) and
locks easily at any point, including the adjustable presets at 90
and 45-degrees with a twist of the handle.
Accessories
Dado Insert (#708097)
An all-metal dado insert is available for the JET Deluxe
XACTA Saw. It features leveling screws and an opening
sized to accept stacked dado sets at up to 13/16” widths.

Tenoning Jig (#708295)
Cutting tenons on a table saw is efficient, especially when
there are many to make. Our cast iron Tenoning Jig makes
cutting tenons accurate, consistent and very safe. The
heavy cast iron base and miter slot follower keeps the
Tenoning Jig stable and tracking straight for smooth
precise cuts.
The Tenoning Jig is fully adjustable and capable of
making angle tenons up to 45-degrees to the side or and
front-to-back for maximum versatility. An easy to use
screw-type clamp keeps the stock firmly secured for safety
and accuracy.
