Warranty and Service
JET warrants every product it sells against manufacturers’ defects. If one of our tools needs service or repair, please contact Technical Service by calling 1-800-274- 6846, 8AM to 5PM CST, Monday through Friday.
Warranty Period The general warranty l ast s f or t he ti me period specified in the literature included with your pr oduct or on t he official JET branded website.
JET products carry a limited warranty whi ch var ies in duration based upon the product. (See chart below)
Accessories carry a limi t ed warranty of one year from the date of receipt.
Consumable items ar e defined as expendable parts or accessories expected to become inoperable within a
reasonable amount of use and are covered by a 90 day limited warranty agai nst manufacturer’s defects.
Who is Covered
This warranty covers only the initial purchaser of the product fr om the date of delivery.
What is Covered
This warranty covers any defects in workmanshi p or materials subject to t he li mitati ons st at ed below. This warrant y does not cover failures due directly or indirectly t o misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, normal wear-and-tear, improper repair, alterations or lack of maintenance.

Woodworki ng pr oduct s with a Five Year Warranty t hat ar e used for com mercial or indust r ial purposes default to a Two Year Warranty. Pl ease contact Technical Service at 1-800-274- 6846 for further clari f ication.

Warnings
1. Before operating the m ac hine, remove tie, rings, watches, and other jewelry, and rol l sleev es up past the elbows. Remov e al l l oose clothi ng and confi ne long hair . Non-slip foot wear is recommended. Do not wear gloves.
2. Some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling and other construction activities contain c hemicals known to cause c anc er , birth defects or other repr oduc tive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
Lead from lead based paint.
Crystalline silica from bricks, cement and other masonry products.
Arsenic and chromium from c hemical ly treated lumber.
Your risk of exposure varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a well-ventilated area and work with approved safety equipment, such as face or dust masks that are specifically designed to filter out microscopic particles.
3. Do not operate tool while ti r ed or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any ot her medication.
4. Make certain the switch is in t he OFF posi tion before connecting t he machine to the power supply.
5. Make certain the machine is properly grounded.
6. Make all machine adjustments or m aintenance with t he machine unpl ugged from the power source.
7. Remove adjusting keys and wrenches. Form a habit of checking to see that keys and adjusting wrenches are removed from the machine before t ur ning it on.
8. Check damaged parts. Before further use of the machi ne, a guard or other part that is damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function – check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any other conditions that may affect its operation. A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or r eplaced.
9. Keep the floor around the machine clean and free of scrap material, oil and grease.
10. Keep visi tors a safe distance from t he work area. Keep chil dren away.
11. Mak e y our workshop child proof with padlocks, master switches or by removing star ter keys.
12. Gi v e your work undivided at tent i on. Looki ng around, car ryi ng on a conversation and “ horse-pl ay” are careless acts that can r esul t in serious injury.
13. Do not over reach. Maintain a bal anced stance at all ti mes so that you do not fall or lean against moving parts.
14. Use the right tool. Don’t force a tool or attachment to do a job for whi c h it was not designed. The ri ght tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for whi c h it was designed.
15. Use recommended accessories; improper acc essori es may be hazardous.
16. Maintain tools with care. Keep tools sharp and clean for the best and safest perf ormance. Follow instructions for lubr icating and changing accessories.
17. Nev er l eave the m achi ne runni ng unat tended. Turn t he power of f and don’t leav e the machi ne until it comes to a complete stop.
