PROTECT YOUR FURNITURE
This model is equipped with non-skid rubber 'feet' to prevent the product from moving when
you operate the controls. These 'feet' are made from non-migrating rubber material specially
formulated to avoid leaving any marks or stains on your furniture. However certain types of
oil based furniture polishes, wood preservatives, or cleaning sprays may cause the 'feet' to
soften, and leave marks or a rubber residue on the furniture. To prevent any damage to your
furniture we strongly recommend that you purchase small self-adhesive felt pads, available
at hardware stores and home improvement centers everywhere, and apply these pads to
the bottom of the rubber 'feet' before you place the product on fine wooden furniture.
DEAR JENSEN CUSTOMER
Selecting fine audio equipment such as the unit you've just purchased is only the start of
your musical enjoyment. Now it's time to consider how you can maximize the fun and
excitement your equipment offers. This manufacturer and the Electronic Industries
Association's Consumer Electronics Group want you to get the most out of your equipment
by playing it at a safe level. One that lets the sound come through loud and clear without
annoying blaring or distortion and, most importantly, without affecting your sensitive hearing.
Sound can be deceiving. Over time your hearing "comfort level" adapts to higher volumes
of sound. So what sounds "normal" can actually be loud and harmful to your hearing. Guard
against this by setting your equipment at a safe level BEFORE your hearing adapts.
To establish a safe level:
•Start your volume control at a low setting.
•Slowly increase the sound until you can hear it comfortably and clearly, and without
distortion.
•Once you have established a comfortable sound level : Set the dial and leave it there.
Taking a minute to do this now will help to prevent hearing damage or loss in the future.
After all, we want you listening for a lifetime.
We Want You Listening For a Lifetime
Used wisely, your new sound equipment will provide a lifetime of
fun and enjoyment. Since hearing damage from loud noise is
often undetectable until it is too late, this manufacturer and the
Electronic Industries Association's Consumer Electronics Group
recommend you avoid prolonged exposure to excessive noise.

When the operation of the remote control becomes intermittent or unsatisfactory, replace
the original battery with a new 3V lithium battery.
1.Press down on the compartment cover, slide out the battery holder from the remote
control case.

2.Replace only with the same or equivalent type battery.
Note: Only use a well-known brand of battery to ensure the longest life and best
performance.
WARNING
DO NOT INGEST BATTERY, CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD
The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the
coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and
can lead to death.

CONTROLLING THE VOLUME
This unit features a MASTER VOLUME CONTROL (#18) located on the main unit. The
output volume level is initially controlled based on where this control is set.
It’s important that if you use the remote control to adjust the volume, make sure the MASTER
VOLUME CONTROL (#18) is always set to maximum prior to using the remote control.
Note: If the MASTER VOLUME CONTROL (#18) is set below the maximum volume level,
the output volume level will be reduced if you use the remote control. Example: if the
MASTER VOLUME CONTROL (#18) is set to 50%, you will only be able to adjust between
0 and 50% of the full volume when using the remote control.
When using the remote control to adjust the volume level, you will notice that the LED display
shows V00-V30 as you adjust the volume level. V00 meaning the lowest volume level, and
V30 is maximum. Make sure the volume level on the remote control is always left at V30 if
you decide to switch to using the MASTER VOLUME CONTROL (#18) instead of the remote
control. Leaving the remote control volume level set below V30 will reduce the audio output
on the SMPS-750. Turning the POWER SWITCH (#19) OFF and then ON again will reset
the volume control setting in the main unit, and restore full use of the MASTER VOLUME
CONTROL (#18).
LED DISPLAY
The LED display will show the following codes when that feature is active.
bt = displays when you are in BLUETOOTH mode
LInE = displays when you are in AUX mode
OnE = displays when “Repeat One” is selected during playback
ALL = displays when “Repeat ALL” is selected during playback
nOr = displays when “No Repeat” is selected during playback
6 Preset EQ Settings - Only accessible when using the "EQ" button on the remote control
nOr = displays when “NORMAL” EQ setting is selected
POP = displays when “POP” EQ setting is selected
rOC = displays when “ROCK” EQ setting is selected
JAZ = displays when “JAZZ” EQ setting is selected
CLA = displays when “CLASSIC” EQ setting is selected
Cut = displays when “COUNTRY” EQ setting is selected
Note: The preset EQ settings are only available when in Bluetooth or USB/SD modes.
Volume Level – Only shows when using the "VOLUME" buttons on the remote control V00
to V30
Note: The volume level range controlled by the remote control is limited by the MASTER
VOLUME CONTROL (#18). The MASTER VOLUME CONTROL (#18) should be set around
the half way point on the dial before you first power up the unit.
