• Additional Information •
• Units can be installed as a Freestanding unit or
Slide-In unit. Slide-in installation does NOT allow for
use of a backsplash or side panels. If either is desired,
use the free-standing cutout and instructions.
• Units depth including door handle is 28 3/8".
• Electrical requirements: 120/240 VAC or 120/208
VAC, 60Hz. 50 amp grounded circuit protection is
recommended, 40 amp minimum required.
• Proper operation requires use of range hood.
• Cabinetry over cooktop : 30' minimum clearance
between the top of the cooking surface and the bottom
of an unprotected wood or metal cabinet. 24" minimum
when bottom of wood or metal cabinet is protected by
not less than 1/4" flame retardant millboard covered
with not less than no. 28 MSG sheet steel, 0.015"
stainless steel, 0.024" aluminum or copper.
• To eliminate the hazard of reaching over heated
surface units, cabinet storage space located above
the surface units should be avoided. If cabinet storage
is to be provided, the hazard can be reduced by
installing a range hood that projects horizontally a
minimum of 5" beyond the bottom of the cabinets.
• Range complies with U.L. requirements for 1"
clearance from the range to adjacent vertical side walls
and 7/8" from rear wall. Abnormal surface unit
operation could result in possible scorching of vertical
walls and pose potential fire hazard. Therefore, a 6"
minimum spacing is recommended.
• For Free-standing installations the cutout opening
width is 30 1/8" ± 1/16" minimum. The height of the
countertop is 36" and countertop depth is 25". The
cooktop does NOT need to be notched for
Free-standing installations.
• See page 3 for Slide-in installation specifications
• Accepts Jenn-Air Designer Style cartridges.
See page 2 for additional information
