Personalization is the guiding principle behind every

its variety of exterior styling possibilities, to adaptable
choices in interior storage, to performance that exceeds
expectations. It all begins with three distinct styling
options—our cool and cultured stainless steel model
with stainless steel towel bar handles or heavy-duty
Pro-Style
®
handles with diamond-etched grip, our versatile overlay model featuring the homeowner’s choice of
custom panels and handles, or our elegant framed model
featuring custom panels offset by sleek trim and matching handles. Exterior customization continues with your
client’s choice of a dispenser or non-dispenser model.
Adaptable interior storage enables the client to create
and recreate the space inside their refrigerator with
ease. Adjustable shelves and bins, including Jenn-Air
®
ElevatorTMshelves which can be moved up or down at
the turn of a handle, make customizing storage simple.
And a variety of interior components can be purchased
as accessories at any time.

THE JENN-AIR®BUILT-IN REFRIGERATOR
The excellence of the Jenn-Air®Built-In Refrigerator design
is also evident in quality construction details like foamedin-place doors that provide the best insulation and rigidity
possible. A four-square leveling system allows for each
corner of the refrigerator to be adjusted from the front of
the unit for easier and more precise leveling. And the
acoustic design of our ultra-quiet premium sound package
ensures incredibly quiet performance.
You’ll also find that our Built-In Refrigerator is backed by
one of the best warranties in the industry. The Jenn-Air
®
Built-In Refrigerator Warranty provides parts and labor
coverage for a full three years from the original purchase date. A five-year parts and labor warranty and
a six through twelve-year parts warranty covers major
refrigeration components including the compressor,
evaporator, condenser, drier and connecting tubing.
This Design Guide outlines the unique features of the
Jenn-Air

guidelines for a smooth installation process. Complete
installation instructions are shipped with each unit. Refer
to these instructions when preparing and installing all

DESIGN OPTIONS
Jenn-Air®Built-In Refrigerators offer a variety of models with
design options and interior options that can easily be personalized for each client. From our cool and cultured stainless steel
refrigerator, to the distinctive appeal of our overlay design, to the
popular look of the framed model, Jenn-Air has an option that
will fit your client's dream kitchen perfectly (see illustrations
below).
Stainless steel models with beautiful wrapped doors
come with your choice of

⁄4-inch diameter stainless steel towel
bar handles or Pro-Style
®
handles with diamond-etched grip.
Both styles feature a black toe kickplate. Non-dispenser
models are available as well as dispenser models with a
sleek, black dispenser that enhances the professional look.
A heavy-duty 11-inch stainless steel grille finishes the look.
Overlay models utilize custom panels to convey an elegant,
seamless appearance unique to each client’s kitchen. Since these
models do not include handles, you have the freedom to choose
a practically unlimited array of handle styles to match or complement the hardware on surrounding cabinetry. Non-dispenser
models or dispenser models with white or black dispensers are
available. The 11-inch grille at the top and toe kickplate at the
bottom also accept custom-made panels.
Framed models are offered with silver etched frame
and handles, black frame and handles, or white frame and
handles to complement the custom panels your client has
chosen. Attractive full-length handles add sophistication to our
framed models. Dispenser and non-dispenser framed models
are available. On dispenser models, a black dispenser comes
on models with silver etched or black trim and handles, while
a white dispenser comes on models with white trim and
handles. An 11-inch grille at the top and a toe kickplate at
the bottom also accept custom panels.

Touch SensorTMIce and Water Dispenser with sleek, backlit design provides a distinctive look for Built-In Refrigerator
dispenser models. The PuriClean
®
filtration system delivers fresh, filtered water and crushed or cubed ice anytime, and Touch Sensor
TM
controls activate with just a light touch.
Stainless steel models feature a black dispenser surrounded completely by the stainless steel of the door. Framed models can accept a
freezer panel that fits around all sides of the dispenser. Or, you may choose a custom decorator freezer panel to blend perfectly with
your cabinetry (framed or overlay models).
Installation Considerations. Before the built-in refrigerator is installed, it is important to make sure the unit shipped matches the
exact design that you have specified and ordered. When the unit arrives at the installation site, make sure the
installer checks the shipment carefully.
Each of the three design choices – Stainless Steel, Overlay and Framed – has distinct installation requirements, which means it is
crucial that the unit delivered matches your space and planning requirements. The shipping carton will be labeled with a model
number that will describe exactly the size, design, handle style, and color and whether the unit is a dispenser or non-dispenser
model. Note that the 4th position of the model number indicates the different styles. (See chart below for model number guide.)
Installation instructions are shipped with each unit. Follow those instructions when preparing the space, uncrating the unit, and when
installing any Jenn-Air
®

storage options. Personalization of these options can continue a day, a month, or even years after the original purchase with the ability to
purchase additional shelves, storage drawers and more. That means the refrigerator never stops adapting to your clients’ changing needs.
Even the interior styling is a cut above. The design is clean and uncluttered. Touches of gleaming chrome bring sleek order to interior storage. And bright, even lighting illuminates every detail. The design package is available in a 42” or 48” width, with or without a Touch
Sensor

Ice and Water Dispenser.

Every Jenn-Air

Built-In Refrigerator has two generously-sized
storage drawers with ClimateZone
TM
technology. This breakthrough in fresh food storage provides specialized temperature control for fresh produce, citrus items, and fresh meat,
poultry and seafood. With the touch of a button, the drawers automatically adjust to the ideal temperature for the type
of food stored inside them, and consistently maintain the
temperature for optimum freshness.
Elevator
TM
Shelf. This Jenn-Air®feature enables your
client to customize the shelf storage space in both the fresh
food and freezer compartments in seconds, without having
to move a thing. Shelves raise and lower by simply turning
a handle.
A La Carte
TM
Storage Drawer. Ideal for storing
cheeses, snack foods and small jars, this enclosed storage
drawer also provides a protected area for delicate items
like fresh herbs. Generous size helps keep the space inside
the refrigerator neat and organized.
Full-Width Dairy Compartment. The full-width design
of this covered compartment provides a roomy storage area
for butter and other spreadables. Unique open shelf above
the compartment provides bonus space for jars and other
small items.

top to bottom.
Electronic Control Center. Digital controls with
Touch Sensor
