INSTALLATION

1. Turn off water supply.

2. Install valve, making sure valve is in proper position.

Make sure “Up” outlet is facing up and hot water is

connected on left side and cold is connected on

right. Be sure to use a thread sealant or teflon tape

on all threaded connections.

3. A plastic roughing shield is installed on the valve to

insure proper roughing depth and to protect valve

during construction.

4. Connect shower and tub spout piping to valve. Be

sure to flush lines before making final installation of

shower head or tub spout.

5. Unscrew the screws on the plastic plate and remove the

plastic plate. Mount gasket onto the back of face plate.

Install the diverter handle into the diverter hole of the

face plate. Secure the diverter handle by threading the

nut onto the face plate as illustrated. Position the face

plate onto the valve body and lightly thread the longer

screws provided. Please see (Fig. 4)

6. If either a shower head or tub spout connection is

not used, install a 1/2” plug in the corresponding outlet.

7. Be sure to test for leaks and proper function

before closing wall.

SETTING LIMIT STOP

1. The valve temperature limit is preset at the factory to

prevent scalding.

2. To reset the limit stop, remove the handle, then remove

the red limit stop by pulling off with pliers

3. To reset the limit stop to a higher temperature, re-install

the limit stop ring to the left or original position (Fig A)

by rotating it more to the left (Figures B & C).

4. Failure to properly install the limit stop ring can cause

possible scalding by water that is too hot.
