IfyouwilldrivetheJACvehicleout sidethecountry,pleasenotethefol lowing: Affirmallthecertificates(license, insurancepolicy,etc.). Affirmiffuelissufficient.
Run-inperiod2000km
Thisvehicledoesnotneedspecial run-in,butwithintheoriginal2000 km,obeyingthefollowingnotescan improveperformance,oilandservice lifeofthevehicle.
Donotdrivebeyond88km/h.Whendrivingthevehicle,keep
theenginespeedbetween2,000and 4,000r/min.
Usenormalacceleration.When startingthevehicle,donotstepthe throttlepedalhome. Withinthefirst300km,trynotto brakesharply. Donotpulltheenginehard(do notdriveathighspeedat1-2low speedgears). Donotdriveattoohighortoolow speedforalongtime. Whendrivingwithintherun-inpe riod(2,000km),avoidtowingtheau tomobile.

Thedoorcanbeoperatedbykey.Withregardtofrontdoor,turning

Operationwithoutkey
Withoutusingthekey,putthebutton inthedoorto"LOCK"position(tothe rearsideofthevehicle),andwhen theredwarninglightofswitchisoff, thedoorcanbeclosed.Underthe conditionthatfrontdoorisclosed andthekeyisintheignitionswitch, donotlockthedoor.

Bodycenterlock
Centerlockswitchismountedonthe handleholderofdriverseat.When theswitchison,thedoorisopen; whentheswitchisoff,thedooris close.

Whenpressingdownthe" LOCK"buttonoftheswitch,all thedoorsarelocked. Whenpressingdownthe" unlock"button,allthedoorsare open.
Automaticdoorlockbyspeed sensor
Whenthespeedexceeds40km/hin 23seconds,allthedoorswillbe lockedautomatically.
Warningsystem(ifinstalled)
Thesystemisdesignedtoprevent entrywithoutpermission.Thissystem canbeoperatedbythefollowing
steps:thefirstis"setting",thesecond is"warning",andthethirdis"reliev ing".Ifthevehicleistouched,the systemwillsound.
"Setting"
Parkthevehicleandstoptheengine. Setthesystemasthefollowing: 1Pull out the key from ignition switch. 2Confirmiftheenginecompartment andbootarelocked. 3Usetheremotecontrollertolock thedoor. Afterfinishthesaidprocedure,the turningindicatorwillremindyouthat thesettingisfinished.
Note
Ifsomedoor,reardooror engine compartment is open, thesystemcannotbeset. Ifsuchcase,eliminatethe systemasperthesaidproce dure.
Caution:
Donotsetthissystemwhen passengersareinthevehicle.If youset,thewarningwillstartaf terthepassengerleaves.
"Warning"
Whenparkingthevehicleafterthe systemisset,thealarmwillfunction inthefollowingsituation. 1Front/reardoorareopenedwithout usingremotecontroller. 2Thebootisopenedwithoutusing remotecontroller. 3The engine compartment is opened. Alarmwillsound,andtheturningin dicatorwillflashfor27seconds.You canlockthedoororbootwithremote control,thustoclosethissystem.
Caution:
Whensettingthesystem,donot starttheengine.
"Relieving"
Note
After relieving the system, thereisnoothernewsetting procedureexceptrepeatingset tingprocedure.

Powerwindow
Thepowerwindowcanbeoperated onlywhentheignitionkeyisin"ON" position.Eachdoorhasapower windowswitchtocontrolwindow. Mainswitchofpowerwindowat driverseatcanbeusedtocontrol the passenger power windows. Pressingdownswitch (1)canopen thecabwindow.Theopeningdegree of window can be adjusted by switch. Lifting the power window
switchcanclosethewindow.To avoidthepassengeroperatingthe windowrandomly,youcan press downswitch (2)inmaincontrolseat tolockthewindow.Torelievethe functionofpowerwindow,please pressthelockswitch.Pressingthe windowcontrolswitch,waitamo ment,thesystemwill resumeits function.Aftertheignitionswitchisin "ACC"or"LOCK"positionfor30sec onds,thepowerwindowcanbeop erated.Butwhenthefrontwindowis open,powerwindowcannotfunc tion.
1Beforeclosethewindow,please confirmifthereisarmorotherbarrier onthewindow. 2Donotoperatethemaincontrol buttoninthedriverseatandindivid ualwindowswitchatthesametime. Adjustthefrontseat
Warning
Donotadjustseatwhenthe vehicleisrunning.Ifyoudothat, seriousinjuryordeathwillbe caused.
Moveseatbackandforth
Ifyouwanttomovetheseatback andforth,pleaselifttheadjusting leverofseatandholdit.Slideitto thedesiredposition,thenreleasethe leverandconfirmlockingoftheseat.
Adjustfrontseatbackrest
Inclineforwardalittle,andpullback wardthelinkwhichisneartheseat. Inclinetheseatbackwardandadjust tothedesiredposition.Afterposi tioning,undothelink.
Warning
Whenthevehicleisrunning, donotmakethefrontseatintilt position,toreducetheslidingof the knee/shoulder safety belt andserioushurtincaseofcol lision.Otherwisebuttocksofthe passengermayslidebelowthe knee/shoulder safety belt or slideoutofthesafetybelt,and thepassengercannotbese curedproperly.Inaddition,the safetybeltmayapplyforceto

theunprotectedbelly,causing seriouspersonnelhurt.Sowhen thevehicleisrunning,theseat shouldbekeptincomfortable uprightposition.
Adjustheadrest
Headrestisdesignedtoreducethe hazardofharmofheadandneck.If youwanttoraiseit,youcanliftitto appropriateposition. Ifyouwanttolowerit,youcanpress
downthereleaserod,andputhead resttodesiredposition.
Warning
Inordertoreducetheharmof headandneck,youmustadjust topofheadrestatthesame heightwitheartop.So,yourbody cannotleavetheseatback. Whendrivingthevehicle,if youhavenoheadrestorthe headrestismodified,serious trafficaccidentcanoccur.Ad justing head rest will protect yourheadandneck.
Seatbackcontrol(onthedriver seat)
Adjustingtheseatbackcontrol,inor dertoincreaseweightofseatback, puttheadjustingrodtorearposition.
Adjusttheheightofdriverseat cushion(inthedriverseat)
Turningthefrontadjustingbuttoncan adjusttheseatcushionfacingfront ofvehicle.Turningthebackadjusting buttoncanadjusttheseatcushion facingbackofvehicle.
Storagetank
Storagetankisinstalledunderthe co-driverseat.Pullingforwardcan openthestoragetank.
Warning:
Toavoidhurtingduringacci dental braking or emergency braking,thestoragetankshould beinclosedcondition.
Warningonrearseat
Forthesafety of passenger, the goodsintherearseatcannotex
ceedthetopofseatback.
Foldedrearseatbackandseat cushion
Forconvenience,theseatbackand theseatcushioncanbefolded. 1Fixthefastenerofseatsafetybelt. 2Disassembleheadrest. 3Pulloutsafetybeltandfoldseat cushionforward. 4Releaseseatbackandpullsafety beltovertheseatback,andpull downtheseatback.

Precautionsonsafetybelt
Driverandallpassengersshould fastenseatbeltatalltimes.Correct useofsafetybeltcanreduceacci dentalhurtordeathcausedbyinci dentsoremergentbraking.Thefol lowingshowsrelativedetails:
Protectionofinfantandchild
Somecountriesrequireuseeligible childsafetysystem.Westronglyrec ommenduseofchildprotectionseat orinfantprotectionsystemforthein fantorchildwhoisbelow18kg.

Whenanincidenthappens, thelittlechildrenshouldbepro tectedbycorrectmethodofus ingofthissystem.
Protectionofelderchildren
Ifthechildistoooldtobeprotected bychildprotectionsystem,thesafety beltshouldbeused.Whenthechild isintherearseat,knee/shoulder safetybeltshouldbeused.Ifelder child (beyond13yearsold)isinthe frontseat,thesafetybeltshouldalso
beused. Donotmakethechildstandorkneel ontheseat.Incaseofanincident, useofthechildprotectionsystem canprovidethebestprotectionat thistime.You'dbetternotmakethe childbeinthefrontseat.
Protectionofpregnantwoman
Pregnantwomanshouldobeydoctor specialinstructiontouseknee/shoul dersafetybeltasmuchaspossible. Kneebeltshouldbecomfortableand asloweraspossible.
Protectionofthewounded
When sending the wounded, the safetybeltshouldbeused.Ifneces sary,consultthedoctor.
Onesafetybeltforoneperson
Onesafetybeltcannotbeusedfor
onechildandoneadultortwochil dren;otherwisetrafficaccidentcan bemoreserious.
Lyingintheseat
Inordertoreduceincidentrateand beprotectedbyprotectionsystem, allpassengersmustsitintheseatup rightandthefrontseatshouldbein normaluprightposition.Ifpassenger liesintherearseatorthefrontseat isinclined,thesafetybeltwillbeout offunction.
Warning
Whenthevehicleisrunning, sittinginclinedorlyingisvery dangerous,evenifthefasteneris tied, the safety belt will not function.Whenthevehicleiscol
lided,yourneckorotherparts willbehurtseriously.Kneesafety beltwilllooseitsfunction,too.If collided, abdomen safety belt mayslideoverabdomenand hurtyourpelvis.Foryoursafety, pleasemaketheseatupright.
Safetybeltprotectionsystem
Safetybeltsystemcannotbedisas sembledormodified.Pleaseconfirm thequalityofsafetybeltandother components.
Warning
Whenadjustingtherearseat touprightposition,operatethe buckleorfastenercarefully.Do notleavethebuckleorfastener intherearseat.
Periodicinspection
Inspectallsafetybeltsandallparts forwearordamageperiodically.Re place damaged, excessive worn componentsduly.
Cleaningthesafetybelt
Pleasekeepthesafetybeltclean anddry.Itcanbewashedwithsoap thatisusedforcleaningoffurniture orcarpet,andwarmwater.Donot use bleaching agent, which can weakenthefiberofbucket,sothatin caseofheavyimpact,thebeltcan notsupportload.
Replacingsafetybelt
Forvehiclesthathaveencountered trafficaccident,allthesafetybelts shouldbereplaced,eveniftheyare not damaged. For more details,

Adjusttheheightofshoulder harnessinfrontseat
Adjusttheshoulderharnesstoap propriateposition.Ifthesafetybeltis nearyourneck,youcannotbepro tectedsafely.Thesafetybeltshould beacrossthemiddlesectionbe tweenchestandshoulder. Butdonotlettheshoulderharness beacrosstheneck.Toraisethefix ingseat,youcanpressdownthe
buttonandpullthefixingseatup wards.Tolowerthefixingseat,you canpressdownthebuttonandslide downthefixingseat.Confirmthe fixedcondition.
Warning
Whenthevehicleisrunning, the height adjuster must be locked. Iftheshoulderharnessisnot adjusted properly, the safety beltwillbeeasytowear.
Safetybelt-threepointsafety beltlockingtypeexpansionde viceofdriverseat
Fastenthesafetybelt.
Tiethesafetybelt,pulloutsafetybelt tonguefromexpansionboxandin sertintothesnapringuntilyouhear a"ka"sound. Afteradjustingthekneebelt,the safety belt will form appropriate lengthautomatically.Thetensileforce insafetybeltexpansionboxcanau tomatically absorb excessive belt andkeepthetensileforce.Forsafe ty,donotpullthesafetybeltexces
sivelytomakeitloose.
Adjustthesafetybelt
Thekneebeltshouldbeloweredto buttocksasmuchaspossiblebut notthewaist.Iftoohigh,itwillslide incaseofaccident. Thearmcannotbebeloworover thesafetybelt. Asshowninthefigure,oneshallbe upwards,andtheotherdownwards.
Undothesafetybelt
Pressdownthelooseningbuttonon thebuckle.Afterbeingundone,the safetybeltwillreturntoexpansion boxautomatically. Ifitdoesnotreturnautomatically, checkthesafetybeltforknotandre peattheoperation.

Safetybeltpretensioningunit
Safetybeltpretensionedbeltisin stalledinthedriverseatandfront seat.Theaimistoprotectthedriver
andthepassengerinthefrontseatin caseofseriousimpact.Insuchcase, thepretensionedsafetybeltinthe frontseatandtheairbagwilloperate atthesametime. Operationprincipleofpretensioning unitisthesameasemergency-lock ingretractor(ELR). Whenthevehiclebrakesforemer gencyorthetireinclinedforward rapidly,theexpansionunitofthe safetybeltwilllock.However,incase ofseriousimpact,thepretensioning unitwilloperateandstrainalongthe oppositedirectionofdriver. Warning
SRSwilloperatealongwith driverseat/frontpassengersafety beltsasanauxiliarydevice.Itcan bynomeansreplacesafetybelt. So the safety belt must be durableequipment. Whensufferedseriousimpact orimpactangleofthevehicle (forward)isbelow30,SRSwill
undotheairbagtoinflate.Air bagswillneverinflateduetoin ternalorrearimpactorimpact generatedbyrolling.Inaddition, airbagcanonlybeusedonce. So the safety belt must be durableequipment. Thedrivershouldkeepaway fromthesteeringwheelasmuch aspossible.Ifthedistanceistoo small, hurt or death may be causeduponinflating. Donotputarticlesonornear thesteeringwheelairbagand instrumentpanel,otherwisetheair baginflatingcancauseserious hurt,evendeath. Aftertheairbaginflation,au thorizeddeaderofJACshould

Donotchangetheequipment andwiringofairbag,otherwise theairbagwillinflateabnormal, thustohurtpersonsormakethe systemlooseitsfunction,sothat theairbagcannotinflateincase ofanaccident. Donotinstallchildprotection system in the front passenger seat. Whenanaccidenthappens,ex pandedairbagmayhurttheinfant orchild.Donotmakethechildin thefrontseat.Elderchild(older than10years)cansitinthefront seat.Youshouldconfirmtheyare insafeposition. Inaddition,airbagcanonlybe
usedonce.Sothesafetybeltmust bedurableequipment. Toobtainmoreprotection,all thepassengersanddrivershould usesafetybelt.Ifsafetybeltisnot used,airbagcanalsoprotectyou. Butdonotsittooneartheairbag.

Pretensionedsafetybeltin thedriverseatandfrontseatwill actunderseriousimpact.Under sufficientimpact,pretensioning unitandairbagwillacttogeth er.
Whenstartingthepreten sionedsafetybelt,youwillhear noiseandseethedustinthe smoke. But this phenomenon meansnodanger. Thoughnodanger,thedust canmaketheskinsensitive.So aftertheairbagsplays,you should wash your face and hands completely with warm waterorwarmsoap.
Caution:
Basedontheoperationof SRSairbagsensorthatislinked withpretensioningunit,SRSair
bagwarninglightoninstrument panelwillilluminatefor6sec ondsaftertheignitionswitchis in"ON"or"ACC"position. Ifthesafetybeltpretension ingunitdoesnotoperateunder appropriatecondition,thewarn inglightwillilluminatecontinually without reference to the SRS warninglightfault.IftheSRSair bagwarninglightdoesnotillu minatewhentheignitionswitch isin"ON"or"ACC"operation,or illuminateformorethan6sec onds,orilluminatewhendriving, pleaseinformtheconditionof pretensioningunitandSRSair bagsystemtoJACagent.
