WARNING
1. The glasses will become warm during long video recordings. This is a
normal occurrence as the CPU produces heat during usage, an added copper heat-sink inside the frame assists in cooling.
2. The Rincon glasses are impact resistant, but are not ocially safety rated and should not be used in place of proper eye protection. Please use responsibly and at your own risk. We are not liable for any misuse of this device.

1. GETTING STARTED
Please read this section carefully before using your Rincon Glasses for the rst time.
A. INDICATOR LIGHTS
The Rincon uses indicator lights to help you know when you’re recording, what mode you are in, etc. The indicator lights are found on the left inner arm of the Rincon near the temple.
Indicator Lights:
1. Standby: Solid blue (1080P) or green (720P)
2. Power o: No light
3. 1080P video recording: Blue ashing, ashes fast
when low battery
4. 720P video recording: Green ashing, ashes fast when low battery
5. Memory full: Blue and green ashing fast
6. Low Battery: Blue and green ashing fast
7. Charging: Solid red
8. Battery fully charged: Red turns o
9. USB storage mode: Blue ashing (connected your
computer)
10. WiFi on: Orange ashing
11. WiFi connected: Solid orange
B. CHARGING
The Rincon does not come fully charged and we suggest you charge it for 4-6 hours when before you use it for the rst time. A full charge is typically 4-6 hours. For best results: Insure the Rincon is powered o during charging. To access the charging port, lift the rubber cover on the left arm of the glasses.

Warning:
Do not charge device for more than 12 hours.
1. Power o the Rincon
2. Connect the Rincon to a USB wall plug
3. A green/blue and a red light will show; the green/ blue light will turn o after 3 minutes (memory card inserted) or after 10 seconds (no memory card inserted)
4. The red light will show during charging and power o when fully charged
C. INSERT MICRO SD CARD
To access the SD card slot, lift the rubber cover on the left arm of the glasses. For best results, we recommend a class 10 micro SD card. The Rincon supports up to a 128GB SD card. (Purchased sepa­rately)
1. Power o the Rincon
2. Lift the cover on the left arm of the Rincon
3. Insert a micro SD card into the slot until you feel it
click into place
4. The slot is spring loaded; to remove the card, push it down until you feel it release
D. POWER ON/STANDBY/OFF
The power button is on the rubber cover on the left arm of the Rincon.
1. To turn on, press the power button; the Rincon will vibrate twice
2. A ashing blue or green light will show indicating that recording has started (blue=1080P, green=720P)
3. To enter standby mode, press the power button once; it will vibrate and enter standby mode (in this

mode, the Rincon is on but not recording)
4. To power o at anytime, press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds. It will give a long vibration and power o; all les will be saved.
E. DOWNLOAD THE IOS/ANDROID APP
Visit the Google Play or Apple App Store and search for “iVUE Rincon” to download the iOS/Android app. See the app overview and Wi-Fi pairing section of this manual for more information.
F. AUTO SHUT OFF
When the battery is low or the memory is full, the Rincon will automatically save les and shut o; this is indicated by a blue and green light and a vibra­tion.

2. VIDEO RECORDING
The power button is on the rubber cover on the left arm of the Rincon. Videos are recorded in 5, 15, or 30 minute les lengths depending on your settings. Each time you start/stop recording, a new video le is created. Make sure a micro SD card is inserted before recording.
A. START RECORDING
1. To turn on, press the power button; the Rincon
will vibrate twice
2. A ashing blue or green light will show indicating that recording has started (blue=1080P, green=720P)
3. The light will continue to ash during recording
B. STOP RECORDING
1. Press the power button
2. The Rincon will vibrate, stop recording, and enter
standby mode
3. To stop recording and turn o, press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds. It will give a long vibration and power o; all les will be saved.
C. CHANGE VIDEO RESOLUTION
This section outlines how to change the video reso­lution using the buttons on the Rincon. You can also change the resolution by using the iOS/Android app or the settings text le (see section 6).
1. Enter standby mode
2. The default resolution is 1080P @ 30fps and is
indicated by a blue light
3. To change the resolution, press and hold the WiFi button until you feel a vibration

4. The light will now show green to indicate the reso­lution was changed to 720P @ 60fps
5. Repeat these steps to switch resolutions
3. PHOTO TAKING
There are 2 ways to take photos outlined below. By default, the Rincon will take one photo at a time, but you can set it to take a burst of photos. Burst settings can be found in the iOS/Android app or in the settings test le (see section 6).
A. WHILE RECORDING
1. During recording, quickly press the power button
twice
2. The Rincon will vibrate once; a green and blue light will display when a photo is taken
3. After the photo is taken, it will vibrate twice and return to the video recording mode
B. FROM STANDBY MODE
1. Quickly press the power button twice to take a
photo
2. After the photo is taken, it will return to standby mode and be ready to take another photo
3. To return to video recording, press the power button once

4. VIEW/PLAYBACK
You can transfer/playback your recordings on a computer or within the iOS/Android app. If you have trouble getting videos to play on your computer, we HIGHLY recommend downloading VLC Player.
A. CONNECT TO A MAC/WINDOWS COMPUTER
1. With an sd card insert and powered o, plug the
Rincon into your computer using the supplied USB cable
2. They will mount as a removable drive; open the drive
3. Locate and open the DCIM folder; then open the MOVIE or PHOTO folder
4. Transfer the les onto your computer; then open the les to view/playback
B. REMOVE SD CARD
1. Remove the SD card from the Rincon
2. Put the sd card into a card reader/adapter and
insert it into your computer
3. Open the drive that appears on your computer
4. Open the DCIM folder; then open the MOVIE or
PHOTO folder
5. Transfer the les onto your computer; then open the les to view/playback
C. IOS/ANDROID APP
1. Install the iVUE Rincon app on your iOS/Android
device and connect the Rincon (see WiFi pairing & app overview)
2. Open the app and navigate to the VIEW MEDIA (located at the bottom of the app)

3. VIEW MEDIA shows les contained on the SD card of the Rincon (SD CARD MEDIA) and les that have been transferred onto your iOS/Android Device (SAVED MEDIA)
4. Navigate to SD CARD MEDIA; select les and transfer them into SAVED MEDIA
5. Navigate to SAVED MEDIA; view, select, or save/ share the les
5. TIME/DATE STAMP
(MAC/WINDOWS)
You can change the time/date settings using a MAC/ Windows. This can also be changed using the iOS/ Android app.
A. With an sd card inserted and powered o, plug

drive; locate and open the “SETTING.TXT” le
C. Locate the DATE_STAMP line, change the num-
ber after the equal sign to “1” to enable time/date stamp or “0” to disable it
D. Locate the TIME_SET line and change the the
time/date; the format is YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM:SS (Feb. 28, 2019 4:34PM would display as 2019.02.28 04:34:00)
E. Change the “N” (located in front of the time/date
numbers) to a “Y” for your changes to be saved
F. Save the “SETTING.TXT” le and unplug the
Rincon; the next time you record a video, your new settings will take eect

6. CHANGE SETTINGS
(MAC/WINDOWS)
You can change various settings using a MAC or Windows computer. However, these settings can also be changed using the iOS/Android App.
A. With an sd card insert and powered o, plug the
Rincon into your computer using the supplied USB cable
B. They will mount as a removable drive; open the
drive; locate and open the “SETTING.TXT” le
C. Change settings by inputting a number after the
equal sign, the number you enter corresponds to a setting (see “settings explained” to see what the numbers mean)
D. Save the “SETTING.TXT” le and unplug the
Rincon; the next time you record a video, your new settings will take eect
E. SETTINGS EXPLAINED
VIDEO RESOLUTION = 0-1 (0=1080p@30fps, 1= 720p@60fps)
RECORDING FILE LENGTH = 0-2 (0=5mins, 1=15mins, 2=30mins)
PHOTO BURST NUMBER = 0-2 (0=1 photo , 1=3 photos, 2=5 photos)
EV( Exposure) = 0-12 (0=2.0, 1=1.6, 2=1.3, 3=1.0, 4=0.6, 5=0.3, 6=0.0, 7=-
0.3, 8=-0.6, 9=-1.0, 10=-1.3, 11=-1.6, 12=-2.0) Adjust exposure down in bright/sunny conditions. Adjust exposure up in dark/cloudy conditions.

7. WI-FI PAIRING
This sections explains how to turn on the WiFi signal of the Rincon so you can connect it to your iOS/ Android device and use the iVUE Rincon app. The default WiFi password is 12345678.
A. Power on the Rincon and enter standby mode B. Press the WiFi button located on the rubber cover
on the left arm of the Rincon
C. The Rincon will vibrate to indicate that WiFi is
turned on (to turn o WiFi, press the button again)
D. An orange light will ash to indicate that the Rin-
con is emitting a WiFi signal
E. Go to your iOS/Android devices WiFi settings and
connect to the “Rincon” WiFi network. If prompted, please enter the default WiFi password 12345678
F. Wait until your iOS/Android device is connected G. Open the iVUE Rincon app (for details about the
app, see the App Overview Section)

8. APP OVERVIEW
Visit the Google Play or the Apple App store and search iVUE Rincon to download the app. The Rincon can wirelessly connect to your iOS/Android device; please see section Wi-Fi Pairing for instruc­tions. The functions of the app will only work when your iOS/Android device is paired with the Rincon.
A. CAMERA
The camera page allows you to view a video stream from the Rincon; you can start/stop recording video and take photos.

B. VIEW MEDIA
1. SD Card Media
This folder displays the photos and videos contained on the SD card of the Rincon. Open les to preview them. Select les to transfer/save them to your iOS/ Android device. After the les are saved to your de­vice, they will display in the Saved Media folder.
2. Saved Media
This folder displays the photos and video that are saved within the iVUE Rincon app; these les will display even when you are not connected to the Rincon. Open les to preview them. Select les and share them to your desired app or to your iOS Photos or Android Gallery Apps.

C. SETTINGS
You can rename the Rincon WiFi network name, change the password, set video resolution, white balance, photo burst number etc. Changes will only take eect if the Rincon is connected and in standby mode.
9. ADJUST CAMERA
ANGLE
Using the extruding part of the camera, push back­wards to angle up or forward to angle down.

10. CHANGING LENS
A. REMOVE LENSES
To remove lenses, hold the glasses and rmly push out on the area indicated by the red oval.
B. INSTALL LENSES
To install lenses, insert the lens into the glasses frame starting with area 1, then 2, and 3; then rmly push down on area 4 until you feel the lens click into place.

11. TROUBLESHOOTING
We pride ourselves on our customer service and we are always available to help you if you have issues with your device. Please feel free to contact our cus­tomer service AFTER following these steps below.
A. RESET
If the Rincon freezes, won’t turn on, or becomes unresponsive, we recommend resetting them. This will restore the settings back to the manufacturer defaults and reset the internal software, it will NOT delete any recordings.
1. The reset button is located under the rubber cov­er on the left arm of the Rincon; directly under the wording “reset” on the outside of the rubber cover
2. Using a pin, paperclip, or similar object; insert into the reset button hole; press and hold for 3 seconds and release
3. The reset is now complete

APPLICATION:
Abide strictly to relevant regulations and laws. This product should not be used for any illegal purposes. The user is fully responsible for its operational use.
PROPER USE OF EYEWEAR WARNING:
This eyewear is not designed to protect the wearer from injury in the event of impact with hard objects; ie. not safety rated. Sunglasses must not be used for night driving. To avoid damage to optical devices do not expose the camera directly to strong light, such as the sun or strong articial light sources. Sunglasses are not recommended for industrial protection.
WARNING:
Do not attempt to dismantle the device. Any attempt to alter or repair the unit, except by the original manufacturer or an Authorized Service Facility, will void the limited warranty.
RECYCLING:
Please contact your local corporate of ce for recycling/disposal information for this product. Do not dispose with household waste.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE:
32-104°F. To extend the unit’s lifespan it is best used at room temperature.
FILE SECURITY :
This product is not a professional storage device. It does not guarantee the integrity and security of saved les. Please backup your important documents on the com­puter or other storage device.
BATTERY:
Do not attempt to remove the battery. (Note: Battery disposal must be in accordance with local environmental reg­ulations. See “RECYCLING” below.) If the
recording function has not been used for
lengthy period, charge it fully before using.
WARNING:
Don’t expose to excess moisture. Although the device is water resistant design, operation can be aected in excessively humid environments – it is not completely waterproof.
CLEANING:
Avoid using it in excessively dusty environ­ments. Use a normal lens cleaning cloth to clean the lens.
OTHER MATTERS:
Do not use it close to magnetic or high electric currents.

14. 1-YEAR WARRANTY
In order to provide our customers with the highest level of service, all iVUE Camera products are backed by our limited 1 Year Warranty. This warranty covers any manufacturer related defects for up to 1 year from the date of purchase. This is limited warranty and does not cover failures due to abuse, accidental damage, or when repairs have been made or attempted by anyone other than iVUE Camera.
