INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the i-tec Thunderbolt™ 3 D ual HDMI Adapter that
will allow you to easily connect two monitors, TV or projector with HDMI
inter face to a notebook, a tablet, a PC or a smartphone with Thunderbolt™ 3

port. It is possible to con nect two monitors with 4K@60Hz resolution. This

product ideal for travelling thanks to its compact size, light weight and no
need to use the ex ternal power adapte r.

NOTICE!

Before installing , make sure that the latest drivers and updated BIOS are
installed on your sys tem.

CONNECTING A HDMI MONITOR

The adapter is equipped with 2 x 4K@60Hz HDMI for connecting one or two

external monitors or a projector with HDMI interface. Advanced plasma and
LCD monitors and TVs can be used as an imaging equipment. Use only high ­quality HDMI cables for connecting the monitor to the adapter. During the
additional monitor installation, the screen of the laptop Mac, tablet or PC can

icker, but this is normal.

Most problems with the adapter and connected devices can be solved by
disconnecting the adapter’s Thunderbolt™ 3 cable from t he Thunde rbolt™ 3 por t
on PC, Mac, smartph one or tablet a nd reconnecting it after approx imately 10 s.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not expose to extreme temperatures and air humidit y.

• Use the device on at surfaces – you will prevent it from slipping and

falling to the ground.

• Save the user manual for a possible use later.

In coop eration with the ser vice depar tment:

• Check functionality after falling to water or to the ground.

• Check functionality when the cover is broken.

• Send th e device back if it does not work in accordance with the user
manual.

ANSCHLUSS VON HDMI BILDSCHIRM

Der Adapter wird durch 2x 4K@60Hz HDMI für den Anschluss von einem

oder zwei externen Bildschirmen oder Projektor mit HDMI Schnittstelle
ausgestattet. Als Abbildungsgerät können moderne Plasma- oder LCD
Bildschirme und Fe rnseher genutzt werden. Zum Anschluss des Bildschirms

sind hochwertige HDMI Kabeln zu ve rwenden. Während der Installation eines

zusätzlichen Bildschirms kann das Display von Notebook , Mac, Tablet oder
PC blinzeln, was ein Standardzus tand ist.

Der überwiegende Teil von Problemen mit Adapter und angeschlossenen
Peripherien kann durch Abschalten von Thunderbolt™ 3 Kabel Adapter
vom Thunderbolt™ 3 Port von PC, Mac, Smartphone oder Tablet und seinen
wiederholten Anschluss nach etwa 10 Sek. gelöst werden.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

• Setzen Sie das Gerät keine n extremen Temperaturen und Feuchtigkeit aus.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät auf ache m Untergrund, um zu verhindern,

dass es rutscht und auf den Boden fällt.

• Bewahren Sie das Hand buch zur späte ren Verwendung auf.

AVERTISSEMENT!

Assurez-vous, avant l’installation, d'avoir le dernier pilote pour votre appareil
et un BIOS mis à jour sur votre systè me.

CONNECTER LE MONITEUR HDMI

L'adaptateur est équipé de 2 ports HDMI 4K @60Hz permet tant de connecter

un ou deux moniteurs exter nes ou un projecteur possédant une interface

HDMI. Vous pouvez utiliser, comme dispositifs d’achage, des moniteu rs

et téléviseurs plasma et LCD moder nes. U tilisez des câbles HDMI de haute

qualité an de connec ter le monite ur à l'adaptateur. Pendant l'installation d'un

moniteur en option, l'écran de votre ordinateur portable, Mac, tablette ou PC
peut scintiller, ce qui est un état no rmal.

La majeure partie des problèmes avec l'adaptateur et les périphériques
connectés peuvent être résolu en débranchant du PC, MAC, smartphone
ou tablette, le câble Thunderbolt™ 3 de l'adaptateur Thunderbolt™ 3 et en le
reconnectant après environ 10 secondes.
