Avoid placing this system close to other heat sources. The heatsink may reach high temperatures under normal use. Do not block the air vents with any other object. Make certain there is proper ventilation for the heatsink when in use.
Failure to follow these instructions may void the warranty.

THERMAL CONSIDERATIONS
This system generates heat that must be dissipated in order to maintain reliability and insure the amplifier components stay within their operating temperature specs. To accomplish this, the amplifier is mounted onto a heatsink that is vented on the rear of the cabinet. Airflow is forced through the fins via a fan that turns on when needed. It is required that the vents remain free from any obstruction to allow proper ventilation to occur.
In addition, the amplifiers are thermally protected internally via a thermal switch, which will attenuate the signal 40db when the temperature exceeds 120C. When the temperature drops below a predetermined point, full signal will be restored. ISP tests have shown under extreme conditions that cycling will occur (40 sec. ON, 20 sec. OFF).
BACK PANEL
1. Primary Fuse – This fuse holder contains the main fuse for this system. Follow instructions of cabinet when deciding what power level fuse to use. Turn counter-clockwise to access.
2. Powercon Connector Jack – This module provides a connection for the power cord.
3. Speakon Connector Jack – Connect to any ISP corresponding balanced speakon input.
4. Level Control Knob - This control determines the overall input level of the signal.
5. Balanced XLR Input - This female XLR connector provides an input for balanced line level signal source.
6. Balanced XLR Output - This male XLR connector provides a balanced loop through for connecting to additional external powered amplifiers.
BALANCED CONNECTION DESCRIPTION
The ISP remote Sub Amplifier has a balanced XLR input and two outputs configured to AES standards (Audio Engineering Society). These connections are connected in a loop through configuration from the inputs to the full range outputs and will accept a balanced line-level input. The standard phase configuration is that pin 2 is (+), pin 3 is (-), and pin 1 is shielded ground on the XLR.
