8. Scherm: Geeft het huidige radiostation, de accu-, en Bluetoothstatus.

• Oplaadindicator: Wanneer de stroomkabel is aangesloten, tonen de bewegende

batterijsegmenten bovenaan in de oplaadindicator dat de accu wordt opgeladen. Van zodra
hij volledig is opgeladen, gaan alle batterijsegmenten branden, zonder te knipperen.
Wanneer de stroomkabel wordt losgekoppeld, geven de segmenten het accuniveau weer.

• Bliksempictogram: Wanneer de stroomkabel op het stopcontact is aangesloten, begint

het pictogram met de bliksem te branden.

• Bluetooth-pictogram: Het Bluetooth-pictogram brandt niet wanneer de Raptor voor het

eerst wordt aangezet (tenzij hij voorheen aan een apparaat was gekoppeld). Het Bluetooth­pictogram blijft branden wanneer de Raptor is gekoppeld aan een apparaat.

• Stroomindicator: De stroomindicator (decimaal punt op radiodisplay) gaat branden

wanneer Raptor wordt ingeschakeld. Dit stroomindicator zal niet worden verlicht wanneer
Raptor is uitgeschakeld.

9. Hoofdvolumeregeling: Hiermee past u het maximale volume van de hoofdmix in de luidspreker

aan. Tot de hoofdmix behoren de microfooningang, de aux-ingang, de Radio en het
geluidssignaal van een gekoppeld Bluetooth-apparaat.

10. Microfoon met volume-besturing (6,35 mm): Sluit op deze ingang een 6,35 mm (1/4")

microfoon aan.

11. Aux-ingang: Deze stereo 3,5 mm (1/8") ingang kan worden gebruikt om een cd-speler, mp3-

speler of andere geluidsbron te verbinden.

12. Link-uitgang: Luidsprekerverbinding: Verbindt twee of meer Raptor met elkaar met een stereo

aux-kabel van 3,5 mm (1/8") van de Link-uitgang van een Raptor naar de Aux-ingang van de
tweede Raptor.

13. USB-poorten: Sluit hier de oplaadkabel van uw apparaat aan om het op te laden. Opladen met

USB werkt alleen als het apparaat is ingeschakeld.
Opmerking: Zet het scherm van uw apparaat in slaapstand om uw smartphone en tablet sneller

op te laden.

14. Ingang voor stroomkabel (IEC): Sluit om het apparaat op te

laden de meegeleverde IEC-stroomkabel aan. Tijdens het
opladen van de accu brandt de oplaadindicator. Let op: als
de voedingskabel is aangesloten, blijft de batterij opladen
wanneer het apparaat in gebruik is.

15. Zekering (IEC): Als de zekering van het apparaat kapot is,

vervang deze door een zekering van passende waarde. Het
toestel kan beschadigt raken door een zekering met een foute
waarde. Vervang het met een zekering van een geschikte
waarde. Een zekering met onjuiste waarde kan het apparaat
en/of de zekering beschadigen.

16. Ingang voor stroomkabel (DC): Sluit de meegeleverde stroomkabel 12 VDC hierop aan om de

Raptor van 12 V stroom te voorzien via de stroomuitgang van een voertuig.

17. Zekering (DC): Als de zekering van het apparaat kapot is, gebruik dan een schroevendraaier of

ander gereedschap om dit klepje op te heffen en de zekering te vervangen. Vervang het met een
zekering van een geschikte waarde. Een zekering met onjuiste waarde kan het apparaat en/of de
zekering beschadigen.

Een Bluetooth-apparaat koppelen

1. Zet uw Bluetooth-apparaat aan.

2. Zet de Raptor aan. Als u eerder verbinding hebt gemaakt met een ander Bluetooth-apparaat, zal
de Raptor opnieuw verbinding maken. Houd de Bluetooth-knop ingedrukt om de koppeling te
verbreken wanneer het Bluetooth-pictogram brandt.

3. Navigeer naar het instelscherm van uw Bluetooth-apparaat, zoek naar Raptor en maak
verbinding.

Opmerking: Als uw Bluetooth-apparaat om een koppelingscode verzoekt, voer dan 0000 in.

4. Bij een brandend Bluetooth-pictogram: de Bluetooth-knop indrukken en loslaten om een
koppeling te verbreken.

5. Om het te verbinden met een ander Bluetooth-apparaat, herhaalt u stap 3.

Opmerking: Voor een maximumbereik moeten apparaten met Bluetooth 4.0 of hoger worden
gebruikt.

Een Bluetooth-apparaat koppelen met NFC

NFC (near-field communication) maakt gegevensuitwisseling tussen apparaten mogelijk, zoals
koppeling, door ze zachtjes tegen elkaar te stoten. Raadpleeg de handleiding van uw apparaat om te
zien of deze functie wordt ondersteund.

NFC gebruiken Fom te koppelen met de Raptor:

1. Om NFC te gebruiken, moet uw apparaat zijn ingeschakeld en ontgrendeld.

2. Ga naar het menu Instellingen van uw apparaat en controleer of NFC Aanstaat (eenmalige
handeling).

3. Zet de Raptor aan.

4. Met uw apparaat kort het NFC-logo aanraken en het ertegen houden.

5. Volg de koppelingsinstructies die op uw telefoon verschijnen. Als een wachtwoord wordt
gevraagd, voer dan 0000 in.

6. Stoot zachtjes uw apparaat tegen het NFC-logo op het bovenpaneel van de Raptor.

Problemen oplossen

Het geluid is vervormd: Probeer de volumeknop van uw geluidsbron, muziekinstrument of

microfoon te verlagen. Probeer ook om het hoofdvolume van de Raptor met de hoofdvolumeknop te
verlagen.

Er zijn teveel bassen: Probeer op de toon- of EQ-bedieningsknoppen aan uw geluidsbron het
niveau van de lage tonen te verlagen. Dit stelt u in staat de muziek luider te zetten vooraleer
“afgeknipte” (vervormde) klanken optreden.

Er is een hoge fluitende pieptoon bij het gebruik van microfoons: Dit is waarschijnlijk feedback.
Richt de microfoon weg van de luidspreker.

Bij slechte AM-ontvangst: Verplaats heel het apparaat voor het verbeteren van de AM-ontvangst.

Als u de microfoon niet kan horen boven het geluid van de muziek: Verlaag het volume van de

muziek van uw geluidsbron.

U kunt geen muziek afspelen van een USB-stick: De USB-poort is alleen geschikt om USB­apparaten op te laden.

Product Warranty

1. What is covered and for how long?
All Products: ION Audio, LLC (“ION Audio”) warrants to the original purchaser that ION Audio products and all

other accessories are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the
period commencing upon the date of purchase from an authorized ION Audio dealer and continuing for the
following period of time after that date for one (1) year. ION Audio warrants factory-refurbished merchandise to
be free of material and operational defects for a period of ninety (90) days from the original date of retail sale.
This refurbished merchandise warranty is not transferable.

2. What is not covered? This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of the product by the purchaser. This
Limited Warranty does not cover: (a) damage caused by improper installation or improper connection to any
peripheral; (b) damage caused by an external electrical fault; (c) damage from use of parts not manufactured or sold
by ION Audio; (d) product purchased from anyone other than an ION Audio authorized dealer; (e) modifications to
product not approved in writing by ION Audio; (f) equipment that has the serial number removed or made illegible;
(g) normal cosmetic and mechanical wear; (h) damage or loss during transit to an Authorized ION Audio Repair
Center; or (i) units that are purchased and/or located outside of the continental USA.

3. What are ION Audio’s obligations? During the applicable warranty period, ION Audio will repair or replace, at ION
Audio’s sole option, without charge to the purchaser, any defective component part of the product. To obtain
service under this Limited Warranty, purchaser must first contact ION Audio and obtain a return merchant
authorization (“RMA”) number. Purchaser must then return the product to ION Audio in an adequate container for
shipping, accompanied by purchaser’s sales receipt or comparable proof of sale showing the date of purchase, the
serial number of the product, and the seller’s name and address. To obtain an RMA number and assistance on
where to return the product, contact ION Audio customer service at 401-658-3743. Upon receipt, ION Audio will
repair or replace the defective products. ION Audio may, at ION Audio’s sole option, use rebuilt, reconditioned, or
new parts or components when repairing any product or replace a product with a rebuilt, reconditioned, new or
comparable product. Repaired products will be warranted for a period equal to the remainder of the original Limited
Warranty on the original product or for 90 days, whichever is longer. All replaced parts, components, boards, and
equipment become the property of ION Audio. If ION Audio determines that any product is not covered by this
Limited Warranty, purchaser must pay all parts, shipping, and labor charges for the repair or return of such product.

4. What are the limits on ION Audio’s liabilities? THE WARRANTIES GIVEN IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY,
TOGETHER WITH ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES COVERING ION AUDIO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE
LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY
APPLICABLE LAW, ION AUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL,
INDIRECT OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, DAMAGES TO PURCHASER’S PROPERTY, OR INJURY
TO PURCHASER OR OTHERS ARISING OUT OF THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE ANY ION AUDIO
PRODUCT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, OR NEGLIGENCE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ION AUDIO’S OWN
NEGLIGENCE, EVEN IF ION AUDIO OR THEIR AGENTS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR
ANY CLAIM BROUGHT AGAINST PURCHASER BY ANY OTHER PARTY. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE
COMPLETE WARRANTY FOR ION AUDIO PRODUCTS, AND IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS
WARRANTIES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL
PURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT AND STATES PURCHASER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. IF ANY PORTION OF
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS ILLEGAL OR UNENFORCEABLE BY REASON OF ANY LAW, SUCH PARTIAL
ILLEGALITY OR UNENFORCEABILTY SHALL NOT AFFECT THE ENFORCEABILITY OF THE REMAINDER OF
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WHICH PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES IS AND WILL ALWAYS BE CONSTRUED TO
BE LIMITED BY ITS TERMS OR AS LIMITED AS THE LAW PERMITS.
This Limited Warranty allocates risk of product failure between purchaser and ION Audio, and ION Audio’s product
pricing reflects this allocation of risk and the limitations of liability contained in this Limited Warranty. The agents,
employees, distributors, and dealers of ION Audio are not authorized to make modifications to this Limited Warranty,
or make additional warranties binding on ION Audio. Accordingly, additional statements such as dealer advertising or
presentation, whether oral or written, do not constitute warranties by ION Audio and should not be relied upon.

5. How does state law apply to this warranty? SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR
LIMITATIONS OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY
LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO PURCHASER.

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from one jurisdiction to
another.

Please record the serial number of your unit as shown on the back of the chassis as well as the name of the dealer
from whom you purchased the unit. Retain this information and your original purchase receipt for your records. Go
