To view the User’s Manual on the CD, you must have Microsoft

Internet Explorer® 4.0 or higher or Netscape
Navigator
4.5 or higher installed on your system.

Insert the IomegaWare CD and install the software.
Mac® Users—to install the software, double-click the
Start Here icon. PC Users—if the IomegaWare program does not start
up automatically, refer to the User’s Manual CD. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the software.

Connect the USB cable to the PocketZipdrive.
Mac®, Windows® 95/98—The PocketZip drive can be
connected while the computer is on.
Windows NT
®
4.0—Always turn off the computer to
connect or disconnect the PocketZip drive.
CAUTION! Use only the cables that came with your PocketZip drive. Other cables might cause data loss.

Connect the USB cable to the USB connection on the front or back of your computer.
Look for “USB” or the USB symbol (see illustration) that usually identifies the USB connection. You can use any built-in USB port. If you cannot locate the USB connection on your computer, refer to the documentation for your computer or USB adapter card.

Insert a 40MB PocketZip or Clik! disk into the drive. The PocketZip drive is now ready to use.
Gently insert the disk (label side up) until it “clicks.”

—You should see the PocketZip drive icon on
your desktop.

PC Users—You should see the PocketZip
drive icon in My Computer or Windows

Explorer. Refer to
“Troubleshooting” on the User’s Manual CD if you cannot find the PocketZip drive icon.

CAUTION! Never insert the disk backwards (black tabs first). Always insert it label side up and rounded edge first.

The User’s Manual CD includes information about connecting and using your PocketZip drive, as well as ejecting and caring for PocketZip disks. The User’s Manual CD also contains troubleshooting information.
