LECTURA SENCILLA

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Your Invicta METRILOG is an
accurate instrument capable of measuring regular and
irregular surfaces to within 0.5 centimetre.
To use, first set the lower wheel at “0” and then
rotate the upper wheel until “0” appears in the
window. Now you are ready to measure all but the
most highly polished surfaces. Carefully place the
bottom wheel in contact with the surface to be
measured, and, holding the instrument by it’s
pistol-grip, push your METRILOG forward along the
distance you are measuring. Once the length has been
covered, stop the instrument with it’s shank perpendicu­lar to the measured surface, and carefully lift your
METRILOG straight up, to avoid accidentally altering the
settings.

MODE D’EMPLOI Votre METRILOG Invicta est un
instrument de précision, permettant de mesurer des surfaces
régulières et irrégulières au demi centimètre près.
Pour l’utiliser, réglez la roue inférieure sur « 0 », puis faites
tourner la roue supérieure jusqu’à ce « 0 » apparaisse dans la
fenêtre. Vous êtes maintenant en mesure de mesurer toutes
les surfaces, sauf les plus polies. Placez soigneusement la
roue inférieure au contact de la surface à mesurer, puis,
tout en tenant l’instrument par sa poignée pistolet,
avancez votre METRILOG en le poussant le long de la
distance à mesurer. Lorsque vous avez parcouru la
distance à mesurer, arrêtez l’instrument avec sa tige
perpendiculaire à la surface mesurée, puis soulevez
soigneusement votre METRILOG en le tenant bien droit,
afin de ne pas risquer de modifier accidentellement les
réglages.

Instrument zur Messung regelmäßiger und unregelmäßiger
Oberflächen mit einer Genauigkeit von bis zu einem halben Zentimeter.
Zum Messen das untere Rad auf „0“ stellen und dann das obere Rad drehen,
bis im Sichtfenster „0“ erscheint. Nun können Sie alle Oberflächen (außer sehr hoch polierten)
messen. Den METRILOG an seinem Pistolengriff festhalten, das untere Rad vorsichtig auf die zu
messende Oberfläche setzen und das Instrument zum Messen der gewünschten Länge nach vorne
schieben. Nach Abfahren der Länge den METRILOG mit senkrecht nach oben stehendem Schaft
stoppen und vorsichtig gerade hochheben, um die Einstellungen nicht versehentlich zu ändern.

“O” en la ventana. Ahora ya está listo para medir todas las superficies excepto las que estén
extremadamente pulidas. Coloque cuidadosamente la rueda inferior en contacto con la superficie a
medir y sosteniendo el instrumento por la empuñadura tipo pistola, empuje el METRILOGO hacia

In addition to your Invicta METRILOG’s obvious usefulness for measuring such objects as tables, books, arms and faces, the machine can be used to trace
irregular distances that might only be approximated with a straight ruler or measuring tape.
The zig-zagging roads on a map, or the curves of a river are easily translated into centimetres for comparison with the scale of the map.
The distance around your head, the circumference of an orange, are tow irregular shapes well within this mini-trundle wheel’s capabilities.
These are but a few of the thousands of uses for your Invicta METRILOG. Virtually it’s only limitation is your imagination.

AUTRES APPLICATIONS DU METRILOG

OTROS USOS DEL METRILOGO

Además de la utilidad evidente del METRILOGO de Invicta para medir objetos como mesas, libros, brazos y caras, el aparato también se puede utilizar para
trazar distancias irregulares que con una regla recta o una cinta métrica solo se pueden medir aproximadamente.
Las carreteras zigzagueantes en un mapa o los meandros de un río se convierten fácilmente en centímetros para comparar con la escala del mapa.

OVERIG GEBRUIK VAN METRILOG

Niet alleen is de Invicta METRILOG handig voor het meten van voorwerpen zoals tafels, boeken, armen en gezichten, maar hij kan ook worden gebruikt om
onregelmatige afstanden te meten, die met een liniaal of met een meetlint alleen geschat kunnen worden.
Zigzaggende wegen op een wegenkaart, de bochten van een rivier, enz. worden heel eenvoudig in centimeters omgezet, zodat ze met de schaal van de
kaart kunnen worden vergeleken.
