INTERPHONE F3 è un sistema Bluetooth® da casco per
l’intrattenimento e l’informazione durante la guida della
moto.

INTERPHONE F3 si abbina e dialoga con tutti i telefoni cellu­lari e navigatori GPS, dotati di tecnologia Bluetooth®.
La centralina è rivestita dalla speciale membrana Weather
Protection Skin che lo rende completamente impermeabile;
la sua aerodinamica è stata studiata per evitare disturbi ge­nerati da turbolenze provocate dall’aria e permettere all’ac­qua, in caso di pioggia, di scivolare via.
I suoi comandi e la sua forma sono stati concepiti per essere
individuabili ed accessibili in modo rapido e immediato du­rante la guida con i guanti.

INSTALLAZIONE
INTERPHONE F3 si installa su qualsiasi casco senza alterarne

struttura o verniciatura. Una volta installato può essere ri­mosso in un qualsiasi momento. INTERPHONE F3 non altera
l’omologazione del casco.

DURANTE LA GUIDA

Dare sempre priorità alla guida del mezzo, non alle telefonate.
Durante la conversazione telefonica o con interfono ridurre
sempre la velocità di marcia e restare concentrati sulla guida.
In caso di cattive condizioni atmosferiche e/o intenso traco
prima di rispondere è consigliabile fermarsi.
Guidare sempre in sicurezza e attenersi al codice della strada
vigente.

DURANTE LA SOSTA
Per evitare furti se si lascia il casco attaccato alla moto, IN­TERPHONE F3 dispone di un tasto rapido di rilascio che

permette di rimuovere e di portare con se’ la centralina Blue­tooth® esterna.

NOTE SULL’AUTONOMIA

L’autonomia di utilizzo attivo è indicativa. Essa viene cal-

colata alternando lo sfruttamento di tutte le funzioni di IN­TERPHONE F3 e, data la varietà di utilizzo delle stesse, può

variare signicativamente da un utilizzo all’altro.

Durante la comunicazione Intercom uno dei due dispositivi
Interphone o INTERPHONE F3 ha un consumo maggiore
di batterie: questo fenomeno è dovuto alla procedura di
ricerca wireless che una delle centraline svolge per restare
agganciata all’altra e può anche portare ad una dierenza di
autonomia di 60/90 minuti.
Durante i viaggi lunghi, per ottimizzare i consumi della batte­ria, è consigliabile abilitare la modalità Intercom solo quando
si vuole comunicare, passando a stand-by o ad altre modalità
quando non si eettuano comunicazioni.

1 PRIMO UTILIZZO

1.1 Ricarica

Prima di utilizzare INTERPHONE F3 è necessario ricaricarlo.
Collegare il caricabatteria alla presa di corrente110-220V e il

connettore di carica alla presa di carica di INTERPHONE F3.
Durante la carica l’indicatore LED diventa rosso.
Al termine l’indicatore LED diventa verde indicando la com­pleta carica della batteria.

1.2 Installazione

La dotazione del kit comprende due tipi di supporto a slitta,

uno adesivo (sso) e l’altro con clip a morsetto (removibile).

Utilizzare il supporto che si adatta maggiormente al vostro
utilizzo e al tipo di casco.

NOTE SULLA POSIZIONE
Pur essendo montabile su entrambi i lati del casco, INTER­PHONE F3 è studiato per essere ssato sul lato sinistro: que-

sto permette al motociclista di agire sui comandi con la mano
sinistra, mantenendo la destra sulla manopola del gas.

MONTAGGIO DEL SUPPORTO A SLITTA CON CLIP SMON­TABILE (7)

Prendere il supporto e individuare il punto più adatto per il
ssaggio sul anco del casco, inserire la parte di clip poste­riore all’interno del casco e accoppiare l’altra parte sul lato
esterno.

Inserire le viti e avvitarle leggermente, vericare la posizione

e se necessario spostare il supporto facendolo scorrere, strin­gere le viti con il cacciavite in dotazione.
NOTA BENE: il supporto integra anche un adattatore che
serve a compensare le possibili dierenze di spessore che si
possono trovare sui caschi.
Montare l’adattatore tra le due parti che compongono il sup­porto a slitta utilizzando le due viti più lunghe in dotazione
al kit.

MONTAGGIO DEL SUPPORTO A SLITTA ADESIVO (8)

Prendere il supporto adesivo e cercare il lato e il posto più
adatto dove posizionarlo, pulire e sgrassare la parte del ca­sco dove verrà incollato il supporto (non usare detergenti
che potrebbero danneggiare la verniciatura del casco), ri­muovere la pellicola protettiva dal bi-adesivo e applicare il
supporto sul casco.
Poichè una volta incollato il supporto sul casco non sarà pos­sibile spostarlo, in fase di applicazione prestare

molta attenzione al suo posizionamento.

FISSAGGIO DELLA CENTRALINA (9)

Dopo avere montato il supporto sul casco, prendere la
centralina Bluetooth® e inserirla dall’alto verso il basso nella
guida.
Vericare che la centralina Bluetooth® sia bloccata corretta­mente nella sede provando ad estrarla tirando verso l’alto.
La centralina deve sempre essere inserita dall’alto verso il
basso sia che si posizioni il kit a destra o a sinistra del casco,
il connettore per l’altoparlante con microfono deve trovarsi
sempre sotto la centralina Bluetooth®.

MONTAGGIO ALTOPARLANTE CON MICROFONO (10)

Prendere il pezzetto di velcro e applicarlo all’interno del
casco tramite il bi-adesivo e posizionarlo in corrispondenza
dell’orecchio.
NOTA BENE: prima di posizionare il velcro è consigliabile ef-

fettuare una prova; indossare il casco e vericare la posizio­ne più adatta dove ssarlo.

Applicare l’altoparlante con microfono al velcro appena in­stallato nel casco.
Collegare il connettore dell’altoparlante con microfono nella
presa presente sulla centralina Bluetooth® (il connettore può
essere inserito in una sola posizione).
Un eventuale eccesso di cavo deve essere recuperato all’in­terno del casco sotto l’imbottitura.

RIMOZIONE DELLA CENTRALINA BLUETOOTH® DAL CASCO

Per rimuovere la centralina Bluetooth® premere la leva di
blocco contro la calotta del casco e, mantenendola premuta,
fare scorrere la centralina Bluetooth® verso l’alto.

1.3 Accensione / Spegnimento
ACCENSIONE

Premere e mantenere premuto il tasto MFB per circa 3 secon­di, l’altoparlante emetterà un segnale acustico mentre il LED
inizierà a lampeggiare velocemente per 3 secondi circa.
Successivamente, in modalità stand-by, il led lampeggerà
ogni 5 secondi circa.

SPEGNIMENTO

Premere e mantenere premuto il tasto MFB, l’altoparlante
emetterà un prolungato segnale acustico mentre il led eet­tuerà un lampeggio rosso prima di spegnersi.

2 ABBINAMENTO

2.1 Telefono
Abbinamento

E’possibile utilizzare INTERPHONE F3 abbinandolo ad un
telefono cellulare.
Dopo aver spento INTERPHONE F3, premere e mantenere
premuto il tasto MFB no al lampeggiare rosso e blu alterna­to dell’indicatore luminoso, 8 secondi circa.
Con l’indicatore luminoso lampeggiante rosso/blu alternato,
eettuare la ricerca dispositivi dal telefono (fare riferimento
al manuale del telefono o navigatore).
Il telefono o navigatore rileverà INTERPHONE F3, selezionar-
lo ed inserire il codice numerico 0000.
Per l’abbinamento di un cellulare e di un navigatore GPS
contemporaneamente si veda il punto 2.4.

2.2 Intercom
Abbinamento
Dopo aver spento i due INTERPHONE F3, premere e mante-

nere premuto su entrambi il tasto MFB no al lampeggiare

rosso/blu alternato dell’indicatore luminoso, circa 8 secondi.
Quando entrambi i led lampeggeranno rosso/blu alternato,
premere brevemente il tasto MFB su uno dei due INTER-
PHONE F3.
I due INTERPHONE F3 saranno abbinati tra loro quando en-

trambi i led si accenderanno con luce blu ssa.

NOTA SULLA COMPATIBILITÀ CON ALTRI MODELLI INTERPHONE
La connessione Intercom di INTERPHONE F3 è compatibile anche con i
precedenti dispositivi INTERPHONEF4/INTERPHONE Cellular Line®.

Abbinamento: premere e mantenere premuto su entrambi
il tasto MFB no al lampeggiare rosso/blu alternato dell’in­dicatore luminoso; per INTERPHONE F3/F4 circa 8 secondi,
per INTERPHONE circa 5 secondi.
Quando entrambi i dispositivi lampeggeranno rosso/blu
alternato, premere brevemente il tasto multifunzione di
INTERPHONE F3 (il led rosso e blu lampeggerà più veloce­mente).

Attendere qualche istante e quando i due dispositivi saranno
connessi, il led di INTERPHONE F3 rimarrà blu sso, mentre
quello di INTERPHONE lampeggerà blu velocemente.

2.3 Audio GPS
Abbinamento

I NAVIGATORI GPS, per la connessione audio, sfruttano il

prolo TELEFONO (headset): per abbinare il telefono durante
l’utilizzo del navigatore è necessario usare la specica funzio-

ne del dispositivo GPS. Per maggiori informazioni e imposta­zioni consultare il manuale del navigatore.

3 UTILIZZO

3.1 Funzione Telefono

Terminare una chiamata: per terminare una chiamata pre­mere brevemente il tasto MFB.
Chiamata vocale: alcuni telefoni permettono di eettuare la
chiamata vocale premendo brevemente il tasto MFB.
Riutare la chiamata: per riutare la chiamata in arrivo pre­mere e mantenere premuto il tasto MFB per 4 secondi circa.
Per riutare una chiamata in modalità VOX seguire le istru-
zioni riportate nella sezione FUNZIONE VOX .
Regolazione volume: per regolare il volume è necessario pre­mere i tasti Volume + o Volume - a seconda del livello di
volume desiderato.

3.2 Funzione Intercom

• Durante una conversazione interfonica è consentito rispon­dere o riutare una chiamata telefonica entrante. La comuni-

cazione interfonica verrà interrotta e riattivata automatica­mente al termine della chiamata.

• Per rispondere ad una chiamata entrante sul telefono è ne­cessario premere brevemente sul tasto MFB.

• Per terminare una chiamata in corso sul telefono è necessa­rio premere brevemente il tasto MFB.

• Per riutare la chiamata in arrivo premere e mantenere pre­muto il tasto MFB per 4 secondi circa.

• Per regolare il volume è necessario premere i tasti Volume
+ o Volume - a seconda del livello di volume desiderato.

3.4 Risposta Vocale (VOX )

3.5 Chiamata vocale

La funzione chiamata vocale permette di ef­fettuare una chiamata senza agire sui tasti del

5 CURA E MANUTENZIONE

Se non si utilizza il kit per lungo tempo è indispensabile
caricare la batteria ogni due/tre mesi per evitare che possa
danneggiarsi.
Non pulire il kit con solventi o sgrassanti, potreste danneg­giare il kit, per la pulizia utilizzare una spugna inumidita con
acqua ed eventualmente sapone neutro.

Nota: durante la pulizia, per evitare che l’acqua possa ltrare tramite il

connettore e danneggiare la centralina, assicurarsi di aver inserito nella
presa lo spinotto del carica batterie; se montato sul casco lasciare colle­gato il connettore altoparlante. La tenuta stagna del kit è garantita solo
quando il connettore è collegato.

INTERPHONE F3 is a Bluetooth® helmet system for com­municating and getting information while riding your
motorcycle.
INTERPHONE F3 is compatible with all mobile phones and

GPS navigators with Bluetooth® technology.
The control unit is covered by a special weather protection
skin membrane making it fully waterproof. Its aerodynamics
has been designed to avoid any disturbances generated by
air turbulence, and to allow water, if raining, to slide away.
Its controls and shape have been designed to allow for quick
and easy identication and access whilst riding wearing glo­ves.

INSTALLATION
INTERPHONE F3 can be installed on any helmet, without

eecting structure or nish. Once installed, it can be remo­ved at any time. INTERPHONE F3 does not aect helmet
homologation.

WHILST RIDING

Always prioritise your riding, not telephone calls.
During a telephone conversation, or whilst using the inter­phone, reduce your speed and concentrate on your riding.
In bad weather and/or heavy trac, we recommend pulling
over and stopping, before answering.
Always ride carefully and in accordance with the current hi­ghway code.

WHEN STOPPED
To avoid theft, if leaving the helmet on the motorcycle, IN­TERPHONE F3 is tted with a quick release button to allow

you to remove the external Bluetooth® control unit and take

it with you.

NOTES ON AUTONOMY

Active use autonomy is indicative. It has been calculated by

alternating the use of all the INTERPHONE F3 functions and,

given the varied use of these; it can vary signicantly from

one use to another.

During Intercom communication, one of the two Interphone
or INTERPHONE F3 devices has a greater battery consum­ption: this is due to the wireless recharge procedure that one
of the control panels carries out in order to remain connec­ted to the other. It can even lead to a dierence in autonomy
of 60/90 minutes.

On long journeys, to optimise battery duration, we advise
enabling Intercom mode only when you wish to communi­cate, remaining in stand-by or an alternative mode when not
actually communicating.

1 FIRST USE

1.1 Charging

Before using INTERPHONE F3 you will need to charge it up.
Connect the battery charger to a mains socket (110-220 V)
and the recharger connector to the INTERPHONE F3 char­ging socket.
When charging, the LED indicator is red.
Once charging is complete, the LED turns green, to show
that the battery has been fully charged.

1.2 Installation

The kit includes two types of slide support, one adhesive

(xed) and the other with clamp clips (removable). Use the

support that best adapts to your use and helmet type.

NOTES ON POSITION
Although it can be mounted on either side of the helmet, IN-

TERPHONE F3 has been designed to be xed on the left: this

allows the motorcyclist to give commands with his left hand,
keeping the right on the accelerator.

ASSEMBLY OF THE SLIDE SUPPORT WITH REMOVABLE CLIP (7)

Take the support and note the best place to fasten it to the
side of the helmet. Insert the rear part of the clip into the
helmet and couple the other part on the outside.
Insert the screws and tighten gently. Check position and
move the support if necessary, by sliding it along. Tighten
the screws with the screwdriver supplied.

N.B.: the support also includes an adaptor to oset any possible die­rences in thicknesses that there can be between helmets.
Mount the adaptor between the two parts comprising the slide support,
using the longer screws supplied with the kit.

ASSEMBLY OF THE ADHESIVE SLIDE SUPPORT (8)

Take the adhesive support and look for the best side and pla­ce to position it. Clean and de-grease the part of the helmet
where you are going to stick the support (do not use any de-

tergents that could damage the helmet’s nish). Remove the
protective lm from the bi-adhesive, and apply the support

to the helmet.
As the support will not be able to be moved once stuck

onto the helmet, take great care with its positioning, when
applying.

FIXING THE CONTROL PANEL (9)

After having assembled the support onto the helmet, take
the Bluetooth® control panel, and insert into the guide, from
top to bottom.
Check that the Bluetooth® control panel is correctly locked in
its casing by trying to remove it, pulling upwards.
The control panel must always be inserted from top to bottom,
regardless of whether the kit is positioned to the right or left
of the helmet. The connector for the speaker with microphone
must always be beneath the Bluetooth® control panel.

SPEAKER WITH MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY (10)

Take the piece of Velcro and apply to the inside of the helmet
with the bi-adhesive, positioning it at your ear.

N.B.: before positioning the Velcro, it is a good idea to try it out. Put the

helmet on and check the most suitable position for xing.

Apply the speaker with microphone to the Velcro you have
just installed in the helmet.
Connect the speaker with microphone connector to the so­cket on the Bluetooth® control panel (the connector can only
be inserted in one position).
Any excess wire must be gathered up into the helmet, be­neath the padding.

REMOVING THE BLUETOOTH® CONTROL PANEL FROM
THE HELMET

To remove the Bluetooth® control panel, press the locking
lever against the helmet shell and, keeping it pressed, allow
the Bluetooth® control panel to slide upwards.

1.3 Turning on / Turning o
TURNING ON

Press and hold the MFB button for approximately 3 seconds.

The speaker will sound an acoustic warning and the LEDs will
begin ashing quickly for around 3 seconds.
Subsequently, in stand-by mode, the LED will ash approxi­mately once every 5 seconds.

TURNING OFF

Press and hold the MFB button. The speaker will sound a
prolonged acoustic warning and the LED will ash red prior
to turning o.

2 PAIRING

2.1 Telephone
Pairing
INTERPHONE F3 can be used with a mobile telephone.

After having turned INTERPHONE F3 o, press and hold the
MFB button until the warning light alternates red and blue
ashes. This will take about 8 seconds.
When the light is ashing red/blue alternately your INTER-
PHONE F3 is in pairing mode, go to the Bluetooth menu in
your telephone and select search for devices (please refer to
the telephone or navigator manual).
The telephone or navigator will detect INTERPHONE F3.
Simply select it, and enter the numerical code 0000.
To use with a mobile telephone and GPS navigator at the
same time, see point 2.4.

2.2 Intercom
Pairing

After having turned the two INTERPHONE F3s o, press and
hold the MFB buttons on both until the warning light alter­nates red and blue ashes. This will take about 8 seconds.
When both LEDs ash red/blue alternately, press and release
the MFB button on one of the two INTERPHONE F3s.
The two INTERPHONE F3s are connected when both LEDs

show a xed blue light.

NOTE ON COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER INTERPHONE MODELS
The INTERPHONE F3 intercom connection is also compatible with pre­vious INTERPHONEF4/INTERPHONE Cellular Line® devices.

Pairing: press and hold the MFB buttons on both until the
warning light alternates red and blue ashes. For INTER-
PHONE F3/F4 this will take about 8 seconds, for INTERPHO­NE, about 5 seconds.
When both devices ash red/blue alternately, press and rele­ase the INTERPHONE F3 multipurpose button (the red and
blue LED will ash more quickly).
Wait a few seconds, and when the devices are connected,

the INTERPHONE F3 LED will remain xed blue, whilst that
of INTERPHONE will ash blue quickly.

2.4 Audio GPS
Pairing

GPS NAVIGATORS use the TELEPHONE (headset) prole for

audio connection: to use a telephone whilst using a navi-

gator, you will need to use the specic function of the GPS

device. For further information and settings, please consult
the navigator manual.

3 USE

3.1 Telephone function

To end a call: to end a call, simply press and release the MFB
button.
Vocal call: some telephones allow you to make a vocal call
simply by pressing and releasing the MFB button.
To refuse a call: to refuse the call, press and hold the MFB

button for approximately 4 seconds.

To refuse a call in VOX mode, follow the instructions given in
the VOX FUNCTION section.
Volume adjustment: to adjust the volume, press the but­tons Volume + or Volume -, depending on the desired vo­lume level.

3.2 Intercom function

simply press and release the MFB button.

ring: to answer, simply press and release the MFB

button.

To enable intercom function: to enable the

conversation in an intercom prole, press the

MFB button on one of the two INTERPHONE

F3s, and hold for about 3 seconds. An audible

• To enable the intercom function, there cannot be a telepho­ne call underway: press and hold the MFB button for around
3 seconds. An acoustic sound will advise you of connection.

Conversation in intercom mode is full-duplex.

• To end a conversation in intercom mode, simply press and

release the MFB button.

• During an interphone conversation, you can answer or refuse

a telephone call received. Intercom communication will be in­terrupted and re-activated automatically at the end of the call.

• To answer a telephone call, press and release the MFB button.

• To end a telephone call, press and release the MFB button.

• To refuse the call, press and hold the MFB button for appro­ximately 4 seconds.

• To adjust the volume, press the buttons Volume + or Volu-

me -, depending on the desired volume level.

3.4 Voice response (VOX )

Disabling voice response: Press and hold the Volume -

button for approximately 5 seconds. An acoustic sound will

advise you that this has been done.
To answer a call: When receiving a call, simply say a word
(e.g. ‘HELLO’) within ten seconds, to enable the line.
To refuse a call: When receiving a call, simply allow ten se­conds to pass and it will be refused.

3.5 Voice call

The voice response function allows you to an­swer a call without having to press any buttons.

Enabling voice response: Press and hold the
Volume + button for approximately 5 seconds.

The voice call function allows you to make a call
without using the telephone keys. INTERPHONE
F3 is compatible with the voice call function of
various dierent mobile Bluetooth® telephones:

5 CARE AND MAINTENANCE

If not using the kit for long periods of time, the battery must
be charged every two/three months, to avoid damage.
Do not use solvents or de-greasers to clean the kit as these
can damage it. Clean with a damp sponge and neutral soap
if required.

N.B.: When cleaning, to avoid water ltering through the connector and

damaging the control panel, please ensure that you have placed the
battery charger plug into the socket. If mounted on the helmet, leave

the speaker connector connected. Kit waterproong is only guaranteed

when the connector is connected.

INSTALLATION
INTERPHONE F3 peut être installé sur tout type de casque

sans en altérer la structure ou la peinture. Une fois installé, il
peut être enlevé à tout moment. INTERPHONE F3 ne com­promet pas l’homologation du casque.

PENDANT LA CONDUITE

Toujours donner la priorité à la conduite du deux-roues et
non aux communications téléphoniques.

Pendant une conversation téléphonique ou par interphone,
réduire la vitesse de conduite et rester concentré sur la route.
En cas de mauvaises conditions atmosphériques et/ou
de circulation intense, il est conseillé de s’arrêter avant de
répondre.
Toujours conduire en sécurité et respecter le code de la ro­ute en vigueur.

PENDANT L’ARRET

Pour éviter le risque de vol dans le cas où le casque serait
laissé accroché sans surveillance à la moto, INTERPHONE F3
dispose d’un système rapide qui permet d’enlever et d’em-

porter le module Bluetooth® externe.
