Installing a TVD-CB7 cup base
to a dome camera
When assembling a TVD-CB7 to a dome
camera, you require:
• TVD-CB7 cup base
• Adapter plate, included with the dome
camera
• Adapter plate mounting screws
To mount a dome camera to a TVDSNB wall mount with a TVD-CB7 cup
base:
1. Route the camera cables through the
wall mount. Attach the swan neck mount
to the wall using the expansion anchors
that are provided with the swan neck
mount.
2. Lift the camera body to separate the
junction box and the adapter plate.

3. Separate the junction box (1) and the
adapter plate (2).
4. Unscrew the bubble assembly (3).
5. Screw the cup base onto the swan neck
mount and tighten with the locking
screw, as shown below (A). Attach the
camera adapter plate to the cup base (B)
using screw A, route the camera cables
through the adapter plate.
6. Route the camera cables through the
junction box, align the “FRONT” marks
located on the inside of the junction box
with the marking on the adapter plate,
and then secure the junction box to the
adapter plate by tightening the three torx
screws.
7. Attach the safety lanyard and connect
the camera cables to the base of the
dome camera. Follow the instructions in
the dome installation guide to ensure the
IP67 rating.
8. Install the camera body to the junction
box using the three torx screws located
in the dome housing, near the edge of
the housing. Reinstall the bubble
assembly.
To mount a dome camera to a TVDPPB pendant bracket with a TVD-CB7
cup base:
1. Screw the pendant mounting plate onto
the pendant mount tube and tighten with
the locking screw, as shown.
2. Route the camera cables through the
pendant mount. Attach the mount to the
ceiling using the expansion anchors that
are included with the pendant mount.

3. Lift the camera body to separate the
junction box and the adapter plate.
4. Separate the junction box (1) and the
adapter plate (2).
5. Unscrew the bubble assembly (3).
6. Screw the cup base onto the swan neck
mount and tighten with the locking screw.
Route the camera cables through the
adapter plate.
7. Place the adapter plate on the cup base.
Using screw A, secure the adapter plate
to the pendant mount.
8. Route the camera cables through the
inside junction box, align the “FRONT”
marks located on the inside of the
junction box with the marking on the
adapter plate, and then secure the
junction box to the adapter plate by
tightening the three torx screws.
9. Attach the safety lanyard and connect
the camera cables to the base of the
dome camera. Follow the instructions in
the dome installation guide to ensure the
IP67 rating.
10. Install the camera body to the junction
box using the three torx screws located
in the dome housing, near the edge of
the housing. Reinstall the bubble
assembly.
To mount a dome camera to a TVDCBW wall mount with a TVD-CB7 cup
base:
1. Route the camera cables through the
wall mount. Attach the wall mount to the
wall using the expansion anchors that
are provided with the TVD-CBW.

2. Lift the camera body to separate the
junction box and the adapter plate.
3. Separate the junction box (1) and the
adapter plate (2).
4. Unscrew the bubble assembly (3).
5. Screw the cup base onto the wall mount
and tighten with the locking screw, as
shown below (A). Attach the camera
adapter plate to the cup base (B) using
screw A, routing the camera cables
through the adapter plate.
6. Route the camera cables through the
inside junction box, align the “FRONT”
marks located on the inside of the
junction box with the marking on the
adapter plate, and then secure the
junction box to the adapter plate by
tighening the three torx screws.
7. Attach the safety lanyard and connect
the camera cables to the base of the
dome camera. Follow the instructions in
the dome installation guide to ensure the
IP67 rating.
8. Install the camera body to the junction
box using the three torx screws located
in the dome housing, near the edge of
the housing. Reinstall the bubble
assembly.
