Indicators and Ports

Hardware Installation

1. Use the included USB cable to connect the USB port on the adapter to a USB port on
your computer.

2. Using Cat6 Ethernet cable, connect the RJ45 port of the adapter to a Gigabit Ethernet
port on your router, switch or other networking device.

Driver Installation (follow Step 3 that matches your system)

1. Insert the included setup CD in your CD-ROM drive.

2. On your desktop, click “Start” then “Run.”

3. When the prompt displays

• For Windows XP (32-bit) — Enter “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\
WinXP\setup.exe” (where “D” is the designation of your CD drive).

• For Windows Vista (32/64-bit) — Enter “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\
Vista\setup.exe” (where “D” is the designation of your CD drive).

• For Windows 7 (32/64-bit) — Enter “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\
Win7\setup.exe” where “D” is the designation of your CD drive).

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation.

5. Restart your computer. Once you’ve re-booted, the adapter is ready for use.

Anzeigen und Ports

Hardwareinstallation

1. Verbinden Sie den USB-Port des Adapters über das beiliegende USB-Kabel mit einem
USB-Port Ihres Computers.

2. Verbinden Sie den RJ45-Port des Adapters über ein Cat6 Ethernet-Kabel mit dem
Gigabit-Ethernet-Port Ihres Routers, Switches oder eines anderen Netzwerkgeräts.

Treiberinstallation (befolgen Sie Schritt 3 entsprechend Ihres Systems)

1. Legen Sie die beiliegende Installations-CD in Ihr Laufwerk ein.

2. Klicken Sie auf Ihrem Desktop auf “Start” dann auf “Ausführen.”

3. Geben Sie Folgendes ein:

• Für Windows XP (32-bit) — “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\WinXP\
setup.exe” (wobei “D” dem Laufwerksbuchstaben Ihres CD/DVD-Laufwerks entspricht).

• Für Windows Vista (32/64-bit) — “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\ Vista\
setup.exe” (wobei “D” dem Laufwerksbuchstaben Ihres CD/DVD-Laufwerks entspricht).

• Für Windows 7 (32/64-bit) — “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\ Win7\
setup.exe” (wobei “D” dem Laufwerksbuchstaben Ihres CD/DVD-Laufwerks entspricht).

4. Folgen Sie den Bildschirmanweisungen, um die Treiberinstallation abzuschließen.

5. Starten Sie Ihren Computer neu. Danach ist der Adapter betriebsbereit.

Instalación de Hardware

1. Use el cable USB incluido para conectar el puerto USB del adaptador al puerto USB
disponible de la computadora.

2. Use cable Ethernet Cat 6, conecte puerto RJ45 del adaptador a un puerto Ethernet
Gigabit de su router, switch u otro dispositivo de red.

1. Inserte el CD de Drivers incluido en su unidad de CD-ROM.

2. En el escritorio, haga clic “Inicio,” despues clic en “Ejecutar.”

3. Cuando se muestre en pantalla del sistema

• Para Windows XP (32-bit) — Teclee “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\
WinXP\setup.exe” (donde “D” es la unidad designada para su CD-ROM).

• Para Windows Vista (32/64-bit) — Teclee “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\
