INSTALLING THE EAR TIPS

1 Remove the ear tip.

Note: The medium ear tip is attached to your headset by

default.

2 Push an ear tip onto the headset.

INSTALLING THE EAR HOOK

Clip the ear hook to the base of the ear tip.

CHARGING YOUR HEADSET

Connect the charging cable from your headset to a

computer or power outlet with a USB adapter (not included).

Note: Battery life varies based on settings, environmental

conditions, and usage. Battery capacity decreases with use over time.

POWERING YOUR HEADSET

Press and hold  (MFB) for three seconds to turn

your headset on or o.

Note: The headset says "Power on" or "Power o" when

you turn your device on or o.

PAIRING YOUR HEADSET

1 Make sure that your headset is turned o. 2 To pair a new Bluetooth device, press and hold

 (MFB) for four seconds. OR To re-pair a previous Bluetooth device, press

and hold  (MFB) for two seconds. The LED indicator quickly ashes red and blue. 3 Select INSIGNIA NS-MBTHS from your device’s

Bluetooth menu. When paired, the LED indicator

blinks blue every ve seconds.

USING VOICE CONTROL SOFTWARE

To activate Siri or other voice control software, press and hold  (MFB) for one second. The headset will beep.

TROUBLESHOOTING

No power

• Make sure that the headset's battery is charged.

• Make sure that your headset is turned on.

No sound or low volume

• Turn up the volume on your headset and Bluetooth device. Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not muted.

• Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.

• Make sure that your Bluetooth device is turned on, Bluetooth is turned on, and INSIGNIA NS-MBTHS is selected.

• Make sure that your headset is not paired to another Bluetooth device.

• Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not paired to another Bluetooth device.

Cannot establish Bluetooth connection

• Make sure that your headset is in pairing mode. Press and hold the button for four seconds to re-enter pairing mode.

• Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.

• Turn your devices o, then on. Re-pair your headset and your Bluetooth device.

• Make sure that your headset is not paired to another Bluetooth device.

• Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not paired to another Bluetooth device.

• Make sure that your headset and Bluetooth device are both in pairing mode.

• Make sure that you have selected INSIGNIA

NS-MBTHS on your Bluetooth device.

My Bluetooth device keeps unpairing

• Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.

• If the battery on your Bluetooth device is low, recharge the battery.

• If the battery on your headset is low, recharge the battery.

INSIGNIA NS-MBTHS does not appear on my

Bluetooth device

• Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.

• Put your headset into pairing mode, then refresh your list of Bluetooth devices. For more information, see the documentation that came with your Bluetooth device.

Poor sound quality

• Shorten the distance between your headset and your Bluetooth device.

• Pair your headset to a dierent Bluetooth device.

• Try changing the volume on your Bluetooth device.

• Try moving to a dierent room or outside location.

The microphone isn’t working

• The microphone only works with a Bluetooth connection.

My headset is paired, but I can’t get audio

• Make sure that your source device is outputting audio to your headset. See the documentation that came with your source device.
